Dru ended up here kinda by accident, my friends and I migrated to this site from a different site and one of my friends wanted to be an inarta and begged me to join her by starting in Wind Reach. So I did, basically Dru is a long string of lucky accidents that worked themselves out.


My question, What drew you to the race you chose?

Just a quick reminder to everyone what with the season change fast approaching. Wage requests can be placed here. Job threads have to be at least 2500 words to be applicable and you cannot get paid in them. If you receive payment in thread for work then you cannot receive wages for that thread. I have a question Skerry or Memento. If your job thread involves another person, does the word count have to be 2500 hundred words? Because two of the job threads that I want to use involve another PC.

Oh to answer your question Memento, Turrin has always had a fear of not being accepted by both his people. Since he was a male and half breed in Taloba, he had zero power in society since he was a male in a matriarchal society, so the only way that he could prove himself would join the myrian army and become a bed mate to a powerful female warrior of another clan. Being an half breed caused him difficult with his clan because they prided themselves in hunting outsiders and protecting Taloba from outsiders, so when Marak (Turrin father) brought home a Inarta as a mate (something also frowned upon in the clan) the clan frowned upon his mate and their two mixed children.

Turrin is overcoming his fear of not being accepted by striving to be the "ideal" Endal or a leader in his new home. When Turrin's skill in hunting gets to competent. He will start his training in flight leader school, so he can start leading Endal instead of being a rank and file rider.

To answer Edric question, I have been role playing in Wind Reach for the last two years, so I kind of have a love for the fiery red heads. My first character was a eccentric blind musican who was a chiet, and my second character in the city was a bubbly konti healer who was a Avora. I guess why I stayed because I enjoyed the lore and the community in Wind Reach. Plus I always wanted to make a rider, so I made Turrin in the fall of last year.

2500 words is the minimum, Turrin so if you're writing with someone else you're likely to go over that so that's perfectly fine. I should think that your word count for a thread should reach that amount, not counting how much the other person has written. Though I'm sure that if you were a hundred, maybe two hundred words below then you ought to be all right.
