Suresslynn sighed as she looked at the shop she had just gotten employed at, then shook herself. "Well, time to go to work..." she said as she pushed open the door and smiled at Mistress Sahfri. "Good morning, ma'am." she said cheerfully, her mood instantly improved by the sight of the four armed woman, a welcome reminder of her desert home. The Dhani looked around the shop, taking a deep breath of all the chemicals in the room and smiling.
Sahfri looked up at the Dhani and returned the smile, waving the one arm that wasn't making an antidote. "Good morning, Suresslynn. We need to make an antidote for copperhead venom, we've had a few people get bitten by them lately." she said, pointing at the place where the ingredients had been set out for her. The Dhani nodded and walked over to the place set aside for her and started working on the copperhead venom antidote.
After a moment, she set aside her first bottle of antidote, then thought about something. "Copperheads...I don't think I'm familiar with that kind of snake. One of the natives, I assume, but do they frequently bite humans or are they like most Ekytolian breeds that couldn't give two petch's about humans as long as they don't step on them?" Suresslynn smiled as she set aside her second bottle. It had been a long time since she had mixed antidotes, and she'd forgotten how much fun it was.
Sahfri took a moment before answering her employees question. "Yes, it's a native, and you're right, it's as relaxed as most Ekytolian breeds, but lately there's just been more bites than usual. Perhaps they nested closer to the traveled areas than they usually do." she said as she set aside another bottle. "And, Suresslynn, I would prefer if you would refrain from crude language while in my shop." she said, turning and giving the Dhani a reproachful look.
"Sorry, ma'am." Suresslynn said, having the good grace to look ashamed as she turned back to her antidote mixing.
