Kvist's eyes went wide as he stared at the giant predator. A rumbling sound came from the creature and at first it alarmed the veteran knight. Had he said something that angered the kelvic? But then he realized what he was hearing. She was purring. Like a house cat scratched in the right place. Kvist grinned at the thought that a magnificent predator as her could purr like a common house tabby. It did give him a new view of tigers. At least of this tiger. She had seemed a little distrusting, only understandable, he had acted much the same way. But the level of trust she showed him. Exposing herself in this manner. Kvist trusted that she held no ill will towards him.

Markus' injured leg still protested every time she moved and it was quite painful as she moved across the pebbled surface. But through the pain he still felt her majestic body work under him. The powerful muscles move and shift under the soft fur. She moved slow and gentle, to keep him as comfortable as possible. But with his head burried in her soft fur it mitigated much of the pain he felt from the injured leg. Undoubtedly he was leaving a trail of blood from where he had been sitting as she carried him. He felt the shift of her large feline head as she looked to the side. He raised his head a little and gazed upon the boar. He was a little confused about that for a brief moment. Was she capable of lifting both him and the boar?

It dawned on him a little later as she continued on her path into the unknown. The boar was a hazard out there. Drawing in other predators – and while individually they couldn't challenge a fierce predator as her, undoubtedly a group of lesser hunters could be a serious hazzle. Kvist looked wide eyed as she began to move under the cliff and peeked his head up as she began to lower, to see a narrow hole. Kvist really hoped it was an opening to a larger cave and she wasn't dragging him into a hole. He placed his head against the scruff of her neck and made himself as thin as possible. A good thing he had left his backpack outside, or it would undoubtedly have gotten snagged against the roof of the entrance. Kvist suppressed a pained yelp when they got so low that his leg touched ground and dragged across the stone. He drew in air through the teeth and his body tensed up in response.

He was so distracted by his leg that he didn't notice as the opening gradually opened to a large cave. Very large cave. As he opened his eyes again. His eyes had a hard time to penetrate the shades. Accustomed to a bright sunny day into a darker cavern. It would take time. Peeked around carefully and he let out a little gasp. Spacious cavern. Play between sun and shadows. He saw signs of her humanity. Shelves, a sense of order to it all. The rest was shrouded in either darkness or he didn't notice it as he looked to his damaged leg and cursed his luck. He really wish he could walk around and explore the place on his own legs. Instead of from a distance as the tiger under him carried him to a place she felt was appropriate for her guest. She lowered herself and Kvist got the clue as he took a deep breath and teeth bit together. He contemplated the situation. If he rolled to his right he could rest on the good leg and carefully guide the other leg over. But then he would probably bleed on her and that he wouldn't do. He could handle the pain of rolling the other way. He rolled to the left. Gasped as the pain sped up his leg until he rested upon the meatier thigh than the injured ankle and calf. Right leg swung over her back quickly and landed upon the ground with a sigh of relief.

Kvist turned to the large predator and reached out and before he could stop himself he patted and scratched her behind the ear as if she was a regular housecat. He stopped a tick later and red coloured his cheeks when he realised what he was doing. He cleared his throat.

”Sorry. And thank you.” He said a little flustered. ”Sorry I got your fur wet.” He continued. His clothes very wet from the plunge into the water. But his leg had taken most of his attention thus far, but he was glad that she was willing to take care of him. A stranger. It was good there existed good people in the vicinity of Sunberth. ”Nice place you got here. I honestly feared it was a small hole you were bringing me to. Do you know where you'll stash the boar?” He asked with a small smile on the lips. Hoping to spark her memory of the boar and go and pick it up. But he wasn't overly concerned about his present situation. It was a good dry cave, only had to worry about keeping the owner happy and then finding a way home. Perhaps he could pay her to bring him back to Sunberth. Kvist leant back and rested against the hard ground. The mail he wore was hard already so it was the links he felt more than the ground. He was accustomed to lying on the hard ground.

After the weight on her back was removed, it was a relief. Her muscles hadn't had much strenuous work. The hand behind her ear was unexpected and took her by surprise. It was an odd feeling, and at first uncomfortable. Tara was not accustom to the good feeling one could bring with the scratch behind her large ears. She stopped for a minute to take in the pleasure. Ruffling her fur, she gave a shake, the water droplets were flung from her pelt. The Kelvic was ready to shift into her human form but, the sound of little soft barks shot her head up.

Unhesitatingly she spun around and like this was a life or death situation. Which it was. Bolting out of the cave, her eyes quickly adjusted and small coyote came into focus, minuscule to her size was inching towards the carcase. With a deep rumble in her throat she whipped her claws out and leaped for the scavenger. He was quick but, her claw had nicked it's side. It was nothing life threatening but it sent him scurrying away, tail tucked and yelping.

An exaggeration of course. Crouching down, her jaw locked around the boar and with every powerful jerk, it was brought into the den. It would defiantly rot and go bad if she did not store it. There was a corner in the cave where she stored her food. It was cooler and darker than the rest of the cave. Tara had not noticed how rude she acted, when abruptly running from the man with his questions waiting for her answer. Heaving she slowly made her way to her hay bed. It was easier for Tara to clothe herself properly and then return to the conversation.

Shifting into her human form, some of her area was visible but it was cut off with a thin rock wall. Grabbing her pile of unmade clothing next to her bed she was quick, clothed herself fully but left her boots off. Taking in a deep breath Tara returned to him,
“My apologies, you can't be to careful leaving anything worth value exposed out here.”Thankfully she was not drenched, unlike the man. Before her bed side manners could kick in, she grabbed a small flint and steel. Crouching down she picked up a bunch of dried pine and placed them half in and half out of the pile of slightly burned dead logs and debris. Striking the two tools together, there were a few sparks, nothing major but then a few decent sized ones fell onto their destination.

It was slow at first but smoke arose and Tara placed her cheek down on the cold cave surface. Gently she blew on the debris, and after a couple ticks or so, it took fire. Little flames danced about on the wood, soon to have light consume a major part of the den. Getting up, she brushed off her trousers and walked over to the filtered, uncontaminated water source. Tara was unable to explain how the deep-water-filled hole worked but, everything the went in and cleansed it's self-- like well water. Every step she took, was light, natural.

The way she presented her self was regal, and was the definition of feline-like. Even when Tara squatted down, to get a small bar of soap, her feet were balanced carefully on their toes and her shoulders were raised more than normal.
“OK,” she was read to run him through her procedure, this is where her professional side dominated. “I'm going to help you out off that thick armour, you can keep your underclothing on.”] Walking over to the man she was hesitant at first but if he really wanted to harm her, he would have already. Her hands reached out and placed her hands carefully around the the collar area of the chain mail shirt and lifted it over his head, it was pretty heavy and she wasn't even sure how he got it on in the first place.

Well since he wasn't parallelized, it was easy enough if he pulled his own weight. Tara was deep in thought. Running the basic steps over and over. Now the fire had provide a large amount of light, almost illuminating the whole cave interior. Smoke billowed out the pit and moved along the ceiling, exiting out the front entrance. It was a wonder she kept the den almost all smoke free. The smell of blood and fire was in the air, at first there was nothing but fire crackling.

Feeling the need to break the silence she posed a question,
“If I'm going to help you out, the least you could do is give me a name. You can call me Tara.”Leaving to the rest of his undressing process to him, once what amour he could off of him, she went back to her resting area. Snatching a rather large coat, she went back to his side.“I'm not sure how comfortable this would make it for you.”

Turning it inside out there was a soft layer of cloth and she folded it carefully, waiting for permission to place it under his head as a pillow. oocTara's reason for wanting to remove his top armour is so he doesn't catch something and it's easier to relax in a way.

She seemed not to take offence to his odd behaviour and the scratching behind her ear. In fact she seemed to enjoy it, which brought a sheepish smile to his lips. At least his awkwardness had made her more at ease with his presence in her home. Her ears came up and Kvist looked on wondering what she had heard. He looked to the cave opening and reached for a weapon. The stripped creature gracefully dashed out of the cave opening. Kvist heard the sounds of hounds then. Soon replaced the more forceful sound of a feline predator rushing to defend her territory and prey from a scavenger. Kvist cursed his lack of mobility again. He wanted to help the tiger even more now. But even more pressingly, he wanted to see the tiger in combat. See the fierce creature show her claws and chase off the scavengers. With a sigh he looked to his injured leg. Best if he didn't touch it so he leant back on a shoulder and waited for the tiger to return to the cave. He hoped she was alright.

Of course she is. It is only a dog, she's a giant tiger capable of carrying your sorry ass, she'll be fine. Kvist was losing his patience waiting for news. Imagine if something did fappen to her. He'd be trapped in here with an injured leg. Cruel gods undoubtedly would be laughing their sorry asses off at him. Eyes strained themselves upon the small opening when he heard sounds of struggle near it. Surprised when he saw the tail and butt of a giant tiger back through the opening. Past it he saw the corpse of the boar. Dragged slowly through the opening in her powerful jaws. I am really glad she was a kelvic... A friendly and non-feral kelvic.

With a wry smile he watched the woman do all the work while he looked on helplessly. He hated the feeling of being useless. He curiously watched where she stored the meat. Not because he expected he would ever need the knowledge, but there was not much else to look at in the darkness that his eyes were slowly adjusting to. It was amazing to see her work, the power contained in that body of hers. Kvist wiped some water from his brow and leant back on both elbows and closed his eyes. Trying to get a grip of himself. Sort everything out and prepare himself for a physical examination that did not involve magical healing. The first of those in a long time, unfortunately. He wasn't looking forward to the added pain. But a glimmer of light caught his attention. A light through the darkness of his lids and he opened his eyes knowing there would no longer be a tiger, but a woman in her place. She arrived, fully clothed this time, by his side and he looked at her curiously. Looking for traits that had passed over from her tiger form. Feline eyes, marks from whiskers, stripes in her hair. She spoke and then turned to start a fire. Kvist stopped his examination and spoke as she did her work.

"It is okay. Was it a dog? I thought I heard barking... I hope it wasn't a problem, and I assume we won't be seeing it around here again." He flashed a gentle smile before the smile vanished. "I would have helped but... Well. You know." He gestured to the limb and shrugged apologetically. There was not much to say. Unsure what to say as she worked on the fire and was by the waterhole so he instead opted to stay silent and look around the cave. His eyes were slowly adapting to the darkness and more shapes became clearer to him. Before he knew any time had passed she was by his side again. She explained removing the armour. It made, sort of, sense to him, only the injury was on his leg. But he was happy to oblige. If she had wanted to kill him, she had had plenty of chances already. "Is it okay if I remove the shirt as well? It is wet and it is getting a little chilly." Kvist helped with the chainmail. Removed the belt first that alleviated the weight of it from his shoulders and then lifted it over his shoulders. He was gently amazed with the ease with which she held the chainmail. As he let her hold it he removed his water drenched shirt. It clung to his body and he hated that feeling. Truly loathed it as he quickly removed the piece of clothing and revealed his torso. Kvist let a large grin rupture his lips. As he raised his head to allow her to place the coat before he leant back again upon it.

"Thank you. A boar and a name. You drive a hard bargain, Tara. But my name is Markus." There was a very brief pause before he realized his mistake. Revealing his real name rather than his alias in Sunberth. "But I go by Kvist in the city. Feel free to call me either. So, do you often have visitors drop by in my manner, or am I out of the ordinary?" A few ticks before he realized the even greater mistake he had made in saying both his names. But Tara didn't seem like a spy. He wasn't entirely sure where to put her. A tiger living in a cave outside the city, most likely she was like any other animal. But the cave, although primitive compared to houses, was set up in a manner like any home in the city. Clearly she possessed both qualities of man and beast. A curious creature, Kvist noted as he watched her. "It is a nice home you have made for yourself here. Do you live here alone or should I expect a jealous husband wondering about the half-naked human in his cave?" Kvist said with a terrible smile. His horrible humour getting free reign. "So, how bad is it?" Sudden shift in topic, but he was nervous. He feared the worst for the injury. Hoped it was something she could fix. Perhaps a prayer to Rak'keli and Priskil was in order before Tara began to examine his leg.

Tara couldn't help but smile a little as he asked about the scavenger that threatened her kill. “Nothing I couldn't handle.” It was truly a hard life in the wilderness. There wasn't one moment you could have that wouldn't threaten your life. Almost everything that had a thirst for meat took home lurking within the shadows. As he asked to remove his shirt she just waved her hand as get got up to grab her kit. It was a little heavy but that was because of what it contained. Carefully she placed it next to him and she opened it up with a creak. All though the outside of the box looked old, what was in it was everything but old. Nodding the Kelvic took note of his wariness of telling her his name as though she had people to actually tell it to. Truth was, she kept distance from the city and it's drama in general. Smiling she placed her thoughts aside and began to call him by his name preferences.

“No, Markus, I do not have many guests down here. Well, not a lot that have what I believe righteous intentions.” Pulling the sides of her hair behind her ears she laughed at his question. “No husband, I've been on my own ever since I got here.” It was a foreign idea to Tara for some reason. Having someone by her side but, it would be nice. Trying to make her own joke she added, “I mean, what is there to worry about? You aren't much to look at anyway..” Tara couldn't help but laugh at her own mockery. Saying it sarcastically she hoped that Markus did not take her words seriously. To Tara her joke was untrue, of course he was attractive and had the muscles that looked like they could carry more than their own weight. A soft pink was around her cheeks but than washed it out as he questioned his state of health. Before she could answer him she gently moved up his damp, bloody pant leg. Before her was nothing Tara expected, which she expected the worst.

It was a little deep and there could have been a sprout of infection coming on but it was nothing she couldn't fix and prevent. Dragging over her small kit she told this to Markus with confidence. “Bad? Not by the least. You're going to be fine.” Allowing her gentle bed side manors to kick in Tara offered him a smile of reassurance. Her eyes looked over the materials, herbs, bandages, and just a few more tools. Tara began pulling out a few of the leaves of Vyfox. With a clean bandage slice she dipped the end into the water behind her. A mixture of dried blood and dirt was around the minor wound. Before she could start the actual procedure she found it best if she could get his mind off of the problem at hand but, it would be a bit hard. “So tell me what you can about yourself Markus.”

Her hands were very soft and smooth as she took the cloth and wiped the debris off around the wound. Tara tried to make his experience as painless as possible. She swore that she did not have a pot to which she could boil water with and make tea with the leaves but this was the least she could do with what supplies she had.

oocSorry for the delay & template change. :)

Kvist noted the arrogance - or was it merely rightly proven confidence that radiated from her? She was a tiger so there was a good foundation for her confidence. Few creatures could challenge a proud tiger and survive. Which in turn meant he was pretty safe down here as long as he didn't get on the wrong side of his hostess. Appeared she would call him by his first name, which he found oddly pleasing. Too long had people called him Kvist. He preferred his real name to his middle name. He let out a small sigh of relief when she informed him that there would be no jealous husband coming by. Injured leg and a jealous husband was not his favourite mix. Besides, it would be too awkward to explain what sort of idiocy had brought him to this position. Kvist's gaze lingered upon Tara when she said he lived alone and had few visitors. He frowned a little at the righteous intentions comment. It was still Sunberth and people were shyke around here. Still it sounded like a lonely life. Devoid of meaning if only lived to survive. Especially if to survive out here in the wilderness. But he liked her laughter and she looked quite pretty when she smiled. He opened his mouth to ask a question when she caught him by surprise with the playful comment. It took him a tick before he realized it was sarcasm. In his younger more insecure days he might have taken offence. Today the knight chuckled at the joke before a mock wounded look appeared on his face as his right hand covered his heart.

"How cruel. Mocking a poor wounded man. What has the world come to? But I am afraid you're right. He'd just scoff at the notion that I'd be able to seduce a proud tiger." The wounded look gave way to a disarming smile. Trying his very best to keep his mind off of the fact that she would very soon be poking his wound and applying bandages and herbs and what not. "About myself? Uhm well. Do you have several days to listen to me ramble about my life?" Kvist paused as he tried to think of what he could say. She had said she rarely had visitors. She didn't seem like the dishonest type so he trusted what she had said was the truth. Could he be frank with her in return? Always he had to keep the largest part of his life hidden from these people in Sunberth. In a way he was glad he had found Fallon and Web. They knew of his true allegiance and did not hold it against him. He looked at Tara for a few long ticks again. Would she string him up for being a knight? He was tired of masks and games. Half-truths and hidden pasts.

"I take it this is to distract me from whatever you're about to do to my leg? I hope it works..." He smirked and looked at the ceiling of the cave for a few ticks. Deciding before looking at Tara. Looking for a reaction to what he was about to say. "My name Markus Kvist Andres and I am a Syliran sergeant knight. I was born in Zeltiva, but I grew up in Syliras. I have a huge family and they're the reason I am sitting in a tiger-cave rather than being home in Syliras. No offence meant." Kvist paused for a moment before turning the tables. "Don't you ever get lonely being out here by yourself?" Perhaps too direct a question. But he asked in a soft curious tone.

She was glad someone could share in her humour. Instead of countering him with another joke Tara simply shook her head and kept the smile on her lips as she worked. “I've got all the time in the world.” That to was in a sense a joke. While she did not have a lot of time on her hands she was lucky to get half a day to try and sleep. Tara's initial distance from relationships in general were so limited she could count them on one hand.

After his leg was cleaned she grabbed the leaves she had set aside and extended her arm, dipping them in the water. Inside of her kit was a mortar and pestle. The stone it was made with was simple granite, it had slight damages around the edges and the handle was fractured at the top. Tara placed the moist leaves inside of the mortar and slowly began to crush the plant. Only after a few ticks of his mentioning his title as a knight. With her eyebrows raised she glanced at him and than back to concentrating on her work. “I've never met a knight before, honestly.” Taking in a deep breath she continued a little under her breath.

“Sunberth could use a knight or two..” With three fingers she dug into what was now a thick paste. Tara was a bit hesitant because she knew this would have a little pain but she wasn't sure how much he could take. Cautiously she placed on the first thin layer. “Do I ever get lonely..”Smiling only a little she hid what behind her eyes could come of as upset. “Of course but, it's better than being in the city.” Upon placing another layer her smile definitely demised.

It even looked like she could have cried, but she didn't. “People are starving. I don't think Sunberth can bounce back for quite some time.” After she finished applying the Vylfox she reached for the bandage. Stretching it gently she wrapped it around once, it was important to keep it tight. Although she tried to do it gingerly. The whole concept of the blood thirsty Sunberthians wasn't that impact on her but, there was one thing. A young boy was laying in one of the many trash filled alleys of Sunberth.

His skin was a pale porcelain. He was starved to death and people just walked by as though they had no problems in Mizahar.

There was a sucking noise as Kvist drew in air through the teeth. Trying his best to ignore the uncomfortable and painful feeling of something poking an open wound of his. Someone had once told him medicine had to bitter to be effective. This medicine was not bitter, it was quite painful. But he endured. Would not falter to a mere cleaning of his wound as his teeth grit together. A couple of his knuckles cracked when he clenched his fists together. Anything to distract himself from the feeling coming up his leg. Emerald eyes rolled up at the ceiling and his stomach tightened as he fought to keep his leg in place and not make any sudden jerks. At last, after what seemed like an eternity the tiger stopped cleaning the wound and his breathing came easier. Less laboured as the pain subsided to a constant throbbing pain. It sucked the mirth out of their previous conversation. At least he had had a little fun before the wound came back tenfold.

"Never met a tiger before, so the feeling is mutual." There was an attempt at a smile that turned into a grimace. The voice was strained and sweat had appeared on his forehead as he sat there. Immobilized and useless. Medicine and healing were worlds apart. One was painful and slow whereas healing was quick and there was a blissful warmth once the divine powers were applied. Not at this moment. Her reaction was not what he hopped for when he admitted he was a knight. At least there was no hostility in her eyes at the admission. That was a good start. When she spoke that city could use another knight or two, he nodded solemnly. She must have heard about the knights. He wanted to ask her what she knew about them. If her mind had been polluted with the lies and propaganda of Rhysol and his ilk. Rather than question her, he chose to remain silent and let her work on his leg uninterrupted. He looked at the paste. Stared at it. Wondering what it was. Hoping the pain wasn't as bad as before.

It wasn't as bad. But it was damn close to. He closed his eyes as the warm pain shot up the leg. Triggering muscles to tense and tighten. But he could endure it. He would not scream out in pain. He was a knight, not a little child incapable of not crying from pain. He would endure! Neck tensed, muscles came visible and teeth grit together. Entire torso hardened as muscles bulged to compensate for the pain he felt. The pain he couldn't lash out at to remove. Her voice still managed to reach him. The mirth in her voice had vanished as well. Sunberth was a depressing topic. If it wasn't violence that killed people, it was poverty, cold, starvation ... stupidity.

"I had forgotten how painful non-divine treatment was..." But she seemed competent at her job. Good and careful not to press harder than she had to. "I also feel helpless when I go through the city. Surrounded by poverty. Starving children. Greed and cruelty. I try to help where I can, but most often I am met with people trying to exploit my help or downright try and rob me. I am glad it was a good person like you living here... Most people in the city would not have hesitated to either slice my throat or enslave me." Kvist did not think very highly of the city nor most of its citizens. If only he had a fellow knight with him - or had his wing. How much good he could do by enforcing something resembling law in parts of the city. Protecting the citizens from marauding gangs. She began to apply the bandage and Kvist knew that meant the worst of the treatment was over. Now only time would tell if he would survive. The pain still throbbed down there and moving it about was still a bad idea.

"Thank you for the help. I am lucky you came out when you did." If she had been in her tiger form he most likely would have reached out and scratched her behind the ear again. But in her human form that action seemed very rude. "And... can I stay here until my leg is good enough for me to walk?"

She felt bad, honestly. After all, it was her fault she chose not to spend her Mizas on the finer medical tools. Slowly she packed her tools and herbs away. Her eyes looked up at him for a minute, examining his physical state. Ebony pupils moved from Markus for the time being, Now that all her medical resources were packed away for now she stretched. Holding her hands and extending her arms upward. Back muscles tense were tested as well as her arms. After popping her bones she new felt much better, comfortable.

Upon rotating her shoulders she looked outside of the den, the night was approaching steadily. Naturally this was her time to be out in the wilderness, to take advantage of the darkness around her. Instead, it was foreign, for Tara not to have to run out and track down what ever creature she could fit her jaws around. But, for tonight she had everything set. She had a boar she could feast and more company than she had in a long time. Even if Tara refused to accepting the idea of going to shut her eyes in the presence of a some what stranger. She couldn't help but smile that he thought she was a good person well, she really was.

Never once had she took the life of someone that had threatened hers. He brought up what someone would do to him in the city, he was right. Tara was lucky and only felt the blow from Kenash of what it was like to be enslaved. Gently she touched the side of her cheek, not thinking she ran her fingers over the brand. Coming back to reality and breaking from thought she lowered her hand as though she had never lifted it. Nodding she got up, the medical kit in hand. “It was least I could do, you lead a boar to my door step. Not many do that in this time.”

Shoving the kit next to her herbal kit. “Of course.” Walking back to the knight. She proceed to sit down, her legs crossed, propping her elbow on her right knee and holding up her head. “I would have offered you a tea but,” Gesturing to the cave she continued. “I do not have the best resources to work with.” She did not have any pots to cook with, hell she didn't even have a plat to eat on. A genuine smile was on her lips as Tara said softly, "You shouldn't take long to heal."

Kvist knew this experience. Knew it all too well as eyes probed his body for signs of weakness and disrepair. Even though he had been subject to it for many years by dozens upon dozens of different physicians, doctors, medics, healers - herbalists, and hermits, he never really truly got used to it. For he knew the only reason their eyes probed his body was because most often one part of it had been mangled in the process of trying to strengthen it - that or he had been a klutz and gotten injured because of stupidity. Like today. He gave her a reassuring smile with a hint of a grimace still present. Less than when she had been actively working on him, but now that he could rest the leg without constant poking, the pain was only a dull throbbing pain. As he was focused upon himself he noticed she had begun to stretch out. The young knight wondered if she was okay. He felt the pressure of her examination vanish as she looked at the exit of the cave. Kvist wasn't sure what was going on, did she want him to leave? Considering her options? Rather than push or shove, he decided to remain silent.

Did she miss the outdoors? He followed her gaze and realized it was darker than before. It had been a gradual change. He turned his head and saw the light from outside had lessened and the fire provided most of the light in the cavern. His eyes had adapted somewhat during the change. But the fire made up for that minor change in his eyes. Are tigers nocturnal? Kvist didn't know. He seemed to remember they were. Cats, the normal house variety, tended to be more active during the night as far as he remembered. But these larger ones? He still didn't know. The light, or lack thereof must have played a trick on his eyes, for he thought he saw a mark on her cheek when she lowered her hand. But she was backlit for the knight and her cheek wasn't illuminated by the fire in the cavern. The thoughts vanished when she spoke again. She lifted a weight from his heart when she let him stay. At least he could count on the protection of a tiger for the night. At least those wild dogs outside wouldn't get to him. He sighed with relief and gave her a thankful smile.

"Some tea would be nice especially if you have some tolm? If not I would like some water, please? I have a water skin with my bag... Which I left outside your cave." The latter part of the sentence came more slowly as he realized his folly. He had forgotten all about the bag, quiver and shortbow while he had been in the cave being treated. He sighed at his own stupidity. "But that sounds good, Tara, when do you think I can make it back to the city on my own? Unless you want to help me? I can show you where I live, it got turtles and nice old people. And I bet we could scrounge up some tea back there." Kvist said. He hated not being able to move at his own free will. Walk where he wanted to. He had seen knights go halfway insane after having lost limbs in the line of duty. He didn't want to end up an old and disgruntled man useless beyond bureaucracy jobs for the knights.

Haunting eye sockets began to produce a reddish yellow reflection of the fire as light bounced off and hit her orbs just in the right direction. It was like something you would describe to a child if you wanted to give them night time sleep struggles. Only it was her tiger form showing it's true colors in many ways. “I'll see what I if I have anything to scrape up. ” Almost in an excited fashion she got up and stretched once more. Almost relieving her muscles of several aches. “Ah, I'll be quick.” Looking down she listened as her aid was requested once more. There were many dangers in just getting from her cave to the city. It was possible to make such a drip but you wouldn't have a chance if he remained this injured until a day or two.

“It's better if I take you, I wouldn't want to go through all this effort only to have it go to waste.” Yet another time her rather different sense of humour shown through. What Markus described as his home sounded like nothing Tara could even dream of living in. It sounded almost surreal to her ears. “Well, you sure do have it made.” Still with a smile pasted on her face she navigated over him. Her bare feet made little pitter-patters as she walked towards the exit of her den. The little stray sharp pebbles were not the most pleasant things the tiger has felt on her feet but over time her soles had grown pad like calluses over them. Like her animal's form but not nearly that protective. Crouching down she felt a cold wind pick up.

It was so relieving to be in the open air once more. While yes, her cave was her home, she would never be content while being in an enclosed area for very long. Nights were defiantly a little more chilly since Fall would be approaching steadily. Taking in the air through her nostrils, they picked up little tiny scents. Most it was made up of dried blood and possibly, oncoming rain? Her vision was defiantly enhanced in the darkness. Small details would stand out even more than one's in the light. Moving along the bed of the small water source Tara than trotted a little ways and grabbed the bag. It was heavier than she initially thought.

Slugging the pack on her back she than reached down and grabbed the quiver, pushing a few lose arrows back in their original place. While the Kelvic had never really delve into the use of weapons, it was always a possibility. After all, her teeth and claws would not always protect her. With the quiver and bow in hand Tara retried back to her den. Before she got into the cave a few water droplets fell on her head. Luckily they were in the middle of the cave, far enough from either exit to get any rain on them. Slowing down from her jog she slowly plopped down next to Markus. Now with her back to the main entrance she shifted her legs so they were underneath her.

Placing his quiver down carefully, she allied it with his bow. If they were her property she would have been more careless with the weapons. Tara was scared she would push to many boundaries of opening his bag as though it were her own. So, she turned it towards his direction and leaned forward a little so if he wanted to sit up and go through it, he could with her helping hands. "Would you like to check if everything is still in there?"
