This song immediately made me think of the ethaefal. I don’t know if it’s the lyrics (especially the first verse and excluding the chorus) or something else. Maybe it just makes me think of Caelum. Who knows. Regardless, it’s a fantastic song.

the Holidays.

Hi, guys!

This is a note to let everyone know that I am around but moving slowly with PC posting. It’s a busy time of the year for everyone, doubtless, and I am no exception.

I am working on the ethaefal rewrite, though my progress with it has slowed as I am also trying to finish writing a family cookbook for Christmas. You know how last minute projects only become last minute projects when you put them off? Well. This is now last minute.

There is also a whopping big party this coming Saturday, our 4th annual Wassailing, that at some point I need to start cooking for; and I am determined to see the new Hobbit movie tonight because Luke Evans and I have a hot and fiery date.

This concludes my dispatch from holiday crunch time.

I’ve seen a lot of “it’s been a great year, thanks for being part of it” statuses on Facebook. It has only encouraged the writer in me to be honest.

It’s been a really, really shitty year and I am overjoyed that it is finally over.

Thank you, Mizahar, for not being a part of the difficulty, but being a piece of the solution. Some of you have held my hand or hauled food, hugged my husband or just listened to me and been there. Thank you for reminding me that we’re strong, and for helping me continue to be. Thank you for caring about me. Thank you.
