Liz sat quietly as a significant piece of news was laid on both her and Kaik's shoulders. A new streak of worry for Maeki rushed through the animator, and Lisana almost interrupted, but Kaik asked the questions she had before she could begin to say them. As Perrin answered the questions, Lisana could see Kaik was growing more and more panicked, before he finally muttered a goodbye, and rushed away with his two dolls.
Lisana almost yelled at Kaik to wait, but the girl knew it would be no use. Not only did she need time to think herself about the newfound news, it seemed to the girl that Kaik was far closer friends with the studio owner. Not to mention, the man had already convinced himself he was a monster.
The girl was tempted once more to stop the man, and to tell him he wasn't a monster, or a killer. But did Lisana really believe that herself? She'd seen how he'd ruthlessly tormented the man, and then left him to die. But on the other hand, Liz had wanted to befriend him. The girl walked the other way, going home whilst this conflict swirled through her mind.
