Jade continued to walk with the boys as they spoke. Her mind drifted to his reactions again the nervousness when the pair got Dina, Garland asking about being married, the different shop owners commenting on how cute they were together. Every time he would change the subject just as quickly as he could. Dina was climbing on one of the bigger rocks noticing how quiet and distant Jade had gotten. She watched her closely before shaking her head and continuing to play. The blonde watched the twins with a soft smile as they used Garland to stand up straight. Images of her and Ferrin's children one day entered her mind.
Dina called over to Jade after getting to the top. Smiling the woman walked over leaving the men to their own conversations. Tickling the child she held on to the rock trying not to fall off. The young drykas helped her down and chased her around a side facing rock disappearing from the men's view. A sudden arm right in front of her face caused Jade to back up and glare at the man before her. Dina gasped and ran around the rock and over to Ferrin trying to get his attention. The knight chuckled leaning down slowly walking around the girl. Once her back was fully facing the rock he slammed his other hand on the rock.
"Hey there cutie thought any more on my offer?" He asked with a growl.
"No, I answered you days ago. I will never bed with you," Jade growled at him not backing down.
"Oh really? Cause I've heard all kinds of rumors about you. How you've opened those pretty little legs of yours like a good ho," he said getting an evil look in his eyes.
"Yeah right," she said as a part of her wondered if it was true.
"Come on girl you are nothing more than something to pop out babies. What right minded man would ever wed someone like you?" He asked with a growl.
Jade shrunk some trying to figure out what to believe. Is this how Ferrin truly saw her? He had spoken of marriage, but never said to who. He could have someone else and just be being kind to the blonde. Dina ran over to Ferrin and grabbed his hand jerking him towards the rocks.
"Mr. Ferrin! Someone is bothering Jade!" She said and pulled him harder worried for the blonde woman.

Ferrin stepped closer to Garland, he helped a little with Aneeka and Phobos. They were so young and thrived for adventure. It was adorable in a way as well. Ferrin figured that Garland will some day find his perfect mate. Through all of the things that Jade and Ferrin had been through together, there is nothing that could separate the two of them. Maybe, it's best for them to Wed soon? After all, Ferrins' birthday was coming up anyways. Though, no less than thirty days or so, right.
His birthday... It's been so long since he'd remembered his birthday. Ferrin barely forgotten it. Now, that would've been quite a shame to forget, though he wondered when Jade's birthday was or-
"Mr. Ferrin! Someone is bothering Jade!" It was Dina, her cries of worry and sheer alarmed tone had set of Ferrins alarm for worry and fear for Jade. What was going on he wondered.
"What is it?" The squire asked as he bent down quickly. Little Dina pointed.
"That man! I think he might hurt Miss Jade! Hurry!" Exclaimed the little girl as she pulled onto his hand. Ferrin allowed her to lead him over to Jade and a Knight. Perhaps he was drunk. Though, something wasn't calculating right to Ferrin. The man could barely stand, he was swaying and getting really close to Jade. Really close. Like he wanted to bed with her, or something similar to that state.
Ferrin slowed his pace and gently leveled Dina beside him. Once he had reached the two who were chatting. Ferrin placed a hand on Jade's shoulder. If she would take it. Ferrin would feel some sense of pride when she will. "Ser?" He Asjed the Knight.
"Can't yer see I'm a bit busy here with this lad'" explained the Knight. The man gasped and stumbled back. "You ain't fit to bed this woman boyo." Scoffed the Knight. Ferrin flushed a bright red. Would he want to bed Jade? Does she even have the same feelings at the moment, the same ones that Ferrin is feeling now? Would Jade want to bed him? To fabricate a bond?
"Who's says I'm not?" Taunted Ferrin. His voice cracked under this awkward pressure.
"Move along boy." Baffled the man he took another step forward almost falling over when he did so.
"Your drunk." Informed Ferrin as he stepped in front of Jade. "Leave my girlfriend alone." The man backed off. Who knows what would happen next if a showdown ever occurred between the two of them. Would Ferrin be stripped of his rabk as a Squire?
"No, I'm just a lil' shaken up tis' all." He said looking at Ferrin with an arched brow.
"I'll go inform the Grandmaster myself if you don't leave her alone." Taunted Ferrin. Surely, that had gotten the man's attention.
"I didn't mean it to be like this." He hiccuped. "I'll be leaving now. Next-" he burped. "Next time I won't be as, drunk. Ya' here mah?" He half walked and half stumbled away.
"Jade, are you alright? Did he hurt you?" Asked Ferrin. Feeling a sense of worry come across him. He looked over at Garland. "Should we leave now?"
"With a heart of steel, I raise my blade in combat. The only thoughts I have in my mind is whether I'd return home to my family. I am a soldier, and will fight for love and peace. That is the way of being a Syliran Knight"-Ferrin.

Garland had been enjoying the walk so far. It was a nice day to be out with friends.
And then it was all ruined by one drunk knight. Garland held back, and let Ferrin deal with him for a bit, seeing the exchange. Being drunk was one thing, picking a fight was another thing, but insulting, belittling to any one of his friends, this man was on his shyke-list.
Garland gave a pleasant enough smile to Ferrin and Jade, he picked up the twins and handed them over. "I'll be back in a little while." He said with a soft smile, although it didn't feel right, that smile seemed almost like a forced one.
Garland followed the drunk knight, away from the group, away from prying eyes.
"Ey, what's-" Before he could finish, Garland rushed up and sucker punched the knight right in the face. Garland pinned the man against a tree, and pulled out the sword on the man's sheath. Garland tossed it aside and stared right into the man's eyes.
"I don't want you anywhere near them, I don't want to see your face talking to them ever again, or I will slowly chop off your balls and shove them down your throat. That wasn't just a threat. I will do it." Garland's voice was low, like a growl from a wolf. He tightened his fingers around the man's neck and as soon as Garland felt he got his message across, he dropped him.
The man fell to his knees, coughing and choking on his own spit. Garland gave a smile, a sadistic smile and kneeled down in front of him. "Go ahead and tell the grand master, I doubt you'll be commemorated for dutiful drinking and harassment. And besides if you even think about making advances to my friend again, I will make you regret ever becoming a knight, pecking order be damned, I'll put you in your place."
With that Garland got up and walked back to the group. "Well, I think he wouldn't trouble you any longer, Jade. We had a nice long talk about the chivalry of the knights. We should go, I think the kids have enjoyed their outing." Garland took back the two from Ferrin and Jade and started walking back the path where they came from.

Jade growled as the man got closer to her. He reeked of ale to the point it almost made her tipsy. That was the reason the woman hated ale, any man worth his salt would be able to control himself. Ferrin's voice cut through her thoughts causing her to look up. He was standing there looking at knight not pleased with Dina behind his legs. So the little one had went for help, instead of just running away. Feeling his hand on her shoulder the woman's hand instantly wove under his and linked them. Knowing that the man was standing beside her no matter what the drunk said helped her remain calm. Making a face at the mention of bedding with the man annoyed her to no end, then him demeaning Ferrin. A sly smile came across the woman's face.
"No, you are not man enough to bed me. My boyfriend is more than enough man to bed me," Jade said and hugged Ferrin while looking at the man.
Everything in her screamed to shut the petching hell up before she caused a fight between them. Once the man walked away the woman let out the unknown breath she was holding. Blushing at how close the pair was she stepped back tucking some hair behind her ear. Dina giggled at the pair and began to sing some song about a tree and kissing. Garland just causally handing them the twins confused the woman. Looking at Ferrin, Jade tried to figure out what to do as Aneeka just patted her cheek laughing like crazy. After several chimes the blonde was beginning to worry until Garland's voice caught her ear. Turning the pair returned to the children to him.
"I agree. All of them seem to be getting tired now," Jade said as all three little ones yawned.
She took Dina's hand before taking Ferrin's and walking with Garland back to towards the apartment. Smiling gently the woman was happy to have a friend like Garland and a boyfriend like Ferrin.
"Would you like to stay for supper?" she asked looking at the other squire knowing Ferrin will probably fall out on the couch with Dina curled up to him.

"Ferrin flushed a rose red as Jade complement that Jade had given. He wasn't sure if it was a compliment, but he accepted it as one. Though, his feelings for Jade has grown even more stronger since she hugged him.
"You've heard her Mr." Said Ferrin with an assertive tone to his voice. "She's not your girl." The Knight snorted disgusted at the squire.
"You'll not be so lucky next time, boy." The Knight shoved Ferrin interrupting the hug between Jade and Ferrin and stubbornly walked off, mumbling like a child of how unfair things were. Once the Knight was out of ear shot, Ferrin turned and faced Jade.
"Do you mean it?" He asked her politely, yet with more intentional curiosity. "I mean, me being your boyfriend and all?" He informed Jade slowly, a bit awkwardly to. The hunter wasn't very good at explaining things, so he hoped that Jade knew what he meant.
Ferrin gave Jade another hug, though Garland had given them the twins, Phobos was with Ferrin, and Aneeka with Jade. The two were cute together. Though, Phobos was playing with Uncle Ferrins face with his little pudgy index finger. Though, Phobos seemed to stop as soon as Ferrin was just about to get annoyed and giggles, the boy looked to where his father was going. "Pap pap!" He exclaimed happily. Seeing as Garland was coming back. Ferrin handed his friend Phobos.
"Garland? Your lucky that Knight was to drunk to notice you..." Said Ferrin slowly. "Otherwise, bad things could've happened to you." Ferrin listened to Jade, knowing that Garland might want to probably spend supper with them. Though, Ferrin figured that the twins might get a bit cooped up. "I don't think that would pose much of a problem? Will it Gar? You coming over for dinner I mean?"
"With a heart of steel, I raise my blade in combat. The only thoughts I have in my mind is whether I'd return home to my family. I am a soldier, and will fight for love and peace. That is the way of being a Syliran Knight"-Ferrin.

Garland was tempted to go back to Ferrin's Apartment for dinner, the twins would love spending some more time with Dina, but the tiny yawns and sleepy eyes said what the twins needed.
"I'd love to join you two for dinner, but the twins need to get back before it gets too dark." Garland smiled and hugged the twins tightly. "Though I'd walk you two back, and I think I left a few things back in the apartment."
The trio started walking back, the twins were already fast asleep on Garland's shoulders. It was still twilight, not yet dark but the twins did miss their afternoon nap and had spent a good portion of the day playing and walking around.
As they reached Ferrin's apartment, he waited for them to unlock the door and when they did, he walked in. Garland had brought a bag of baby supplies in case they needed it, luckily for him they didn't.
After taking his bag and putting it on, he bade the two farewell and walked out, heading off to Sera Catherine's home to drop off the twins.
