Torr held his breath as he looked down the shaft of the crossbow and fired.
The bolt only grazed the target and landed a few meters behind the target.
Torr reloaded his crossbow and carefully took aim again, trying not to get nervous from the fact that Markus already had three rather good hits while he completely botched one of his five shots. If this was going to continue like this Torr really hoped Markus didn't drink a lot.
He carefully took aim and fired again. A satisfied grin crept on his face when he saw the bolt hit the target again. He just needed to keep hitting the target around the middle from now on and hope Markus would make a few very bad shots.

[Training] The art of bows. (Torr)

Markus noticed the bolt that flew past the target and smiled. A complete miss. That was good for Markus. Then he patiently waited for Torr to shoot for the third time. It was a rather excellent shot. If Torr kept firing like that and Markus failed a shot or even both, then he would be hard pressed to win this thing. He pulled the string back with a new arrow on it, took careful aim. Let the string go and saw the arrow fly through the air. It hit the very edge of the target in an angle that made Markus wonder if the arrow would stay. It was barely hanging on to the target.

Perhaps his poorest shot so far, in terms of power. He took another arrow and put it on the string. Waiting a moment before pulling it back. Calming himself. Then pulling the string back. Took aim. Then let the arrow fly. It hit the third ring from the middle. His closest arrow had been the first, every shot after being worse. One of them barely hanging on to the target. Perhaps he should spend more time practicing with the bow.

"Ah, that was 5 arrows. You soon done with that slow weapon?" Markus taunted him in a playful tone of voice.

Torr ignored Markus teasing about his weapon while he aimed at the target trying to keep his aim steady and fired. The bolt hammering in the target on ly a ring away from the bullseye with a dull thud. "Well, Looks like we are roughly even aren't we?" Torr said while reloading the crossbow. he laughed. "Here it goes." He shouldered his crossbow and aimed carefully before firing. The bolt slammed on the most outer circle of the target.
"Oh crap," Torr said as he lowered his crossbow. "Looks like those drinks are on me aren't they?"

OOCTo any mod reading this, Kulde is also me, terrible sorry for posting with the wrong account.

Markus watched as Torr last bolt hit the outermost ring. Meaning Markus had won with, like... a single point or something. Math wasn't his strongest side. He did a quick count. Ending up with himself having only a few points more. If not not only a single one. He turned to Torr who had already claimed that the drinks were on him. Markus wasn't going to argue that.

"Ah, that it is." Markus said. Just agreeing with Torr before reaching out with a hand for the two to shake. "But it was a good competition. That last shot of yours, magnificent. I only hope you don't break the law in the city while I'm on watch... would be quite dangerous for me to apprehend you." Markus said with his usual carefree smile on his lips.

"What do you say we go get those drinks now, after we've retrieved our arrows and bolts?"

Torr shook Markus hand. "Well if you run you could be able to get away, I didn't get a lot of practice on moving targets." Torr shrugged. "Shure why not, You are a lightweight I hope?" Torr gave a sharp wistle, signaling Cheif that he should come back. "So where is the nearest tavern?"

Markus grabbed all the arrows he had shot and also grabbed the occasional bolt that had strayed close to one of his missed arrows. He would return to where they had been shooting from and put the arrows into his quiver and give the bolts to Torr.

"The nearest tavern isn't far from here. Here, let me show you the way."

Markus would say as he walked through the exit. Perhaps Markus shouldn't go drinking again. His head had been throbbing quite a lot after the last time. But a single mug of ale wouldn't hurt him. Not at all.

"You coming?"

OOCI suggest we begin a new thread. You know, split it up for the poor mods ^^

Torr took the bolts from Markus giving hem a small thanks for gathering them before putting them back in his quiver.
"Well sure lead the way." He gave markus a rough but friendly pat on the shoulder. "Lets go and celebrate your temporary victory! But don't get lazy I am going to win next time" He smiled, although the mask hid it perfectly.

OOC: Yep lets do that, and lets get Markus drunk shall we :)

Bad News Everybody. School is picking up, Exams are beginning to happen, homework is growing time consuming, I may soon be evicted from my apartment, I'm dealing with severe and physical fights among several of my best friends, and I can't seem to find a time to get much needed sleep. I'm terribly sorry, but don't expect to see much of me for a long while.
