Seasonal Event Registration There are three types of events that show up every season that cannot be picked up randomly by players. Instead they must be claimed or applied for here. Every event is open to every PC as long as the ST running the threads deems the character able to join the moderated event. Please keep in mind that although turning away a PC for an event is rare, it is possible. Sometimes an event simply wont make sense for your character to appear in. This decision should be seen and made by the PC, but if not will be made by the ruling ST. The first type of event is the City Wide Event [C] in which every character in the city is open to RP in. Usually these are events such as festivals or market days. There is no restriction on amount of PCs participating in the thread and the ST will only make sparse posts. A player does not need to apply or claim this event. Instead the ruling ST will start the thread off and then post the link in the Announcements/OOC Thread when completed for other players to join in. Secondly there is the Secret Details Event [D] which is an event that although will not be moderated, requires additional secret information from the ruling ST. This event must be claimed by a player here using the below format. Some of these events can be roleplayed by different players in different threads in different situations, though most can only be written in one place and time. In such cases it is suggested the reigning player, the player that receives the secret information from the ST, leave the thread Open, or at least PM to Join so that other players have a chance to play as well. Though this is not required. Finally there is the Quest [Q]. These are plot line events that are heavily moderated by an ST. These events cannot be claimed and instead are applied for using the format below. All Quests will be posted here with details on the requirements, such as race, Caste, or skills, as well as how many players can join. Usually this is a first come first serve basis, though exceptions may apply.

Fall 516AV Events City Wide Event 10th of Fall. Market Day. Inarta merchants have returned from Avanthal bringing with them exotic goods from the City of Ice. This event will be started by me and will be posted on the first day of the new Fall season. This will be an open thread and I will only be posting once, perhaps twice, more depending on how the event progresses. There is no need to sign up for this event. Simply reply to it and follow basic threading rules. This thread has been started and is located here. City Wide Event 80th of Fall. Market Day. 80: The Courtyard of the sky is closed due to overflowing lava. Market day is held within Glass Reverie. Repairs will begin as soon as the lava cools. This event will be an open thread though I will be posting in it rather regularly. There is no need to sign up for this event as any help repairing the Courtyard of the Sky will be welcomed. I will begin this thread about midway into the season and will link it here as well as announce it in the Announcement Thread. Quest 14th of Fall. A highly selective group of hunters and mercena ries picked by the Valintar, accompanied by a few Dek, leave the city on a secret mission. Rumors spread that the group is being sent to assassinate someone. This Quest has a max limit of three PCs. Application date starts on September 1st and ends when all positions are claimed or if I deem earlier. Any caste is accepted except Yasi as this is too dangerous for children. Dek positions are simply manual labor, carrying supplies, caring for mounts, no skill requirement. Chiet, Avora, and Endal positions include that of fighting and therefore are required to have some skill in a weapon. Link will be updated here when posted. Secret Details Event 31st of Fall and on throughout the season. The strange Isur is seen for the first time in public, though still no one knows where he came from. Common and widely accepted rumor is that he was an escaped slave. This thread can be dated anywhere after the 31st and can be roleplayed by any number of PCs in any number of locations within the city. If one wanted they could request this a second time, or even a third. Each time this event is claimed I will give the ruling PC a bit of information about the Isur. When talking to the Isur in the thread you maybe able to persuade them to tell you this piece of info.

Quest Application Event Date: 14th of Fall, 516 AV Event Summary: The one where we go on a secret mission, possibly to assassinate someone. Not sure what I'm supposed to put here, let me know if I did it wrong. Prerequisites Met?: Yes. Sira is an expert with the Talon Sword and Competent with her bow. She is also an expert hunter, which might be useful, and is almost competent in unarmed combat. Oh, and she can turn into a giant bird. Additional Comments: This sounds really exciting!
