I hope everyone has a great day. There are a few things that I want to update you all on, and a few other things I want to mention. The first one being, welcome Madeira! It's good to see you here.

Now, updates: Kalea's Kiln, which Kawari has been working on for absolutely ages is now up and official and added to the linkmap. Players, feel free to use it or buy things from it if you so desire. I have finally made a start on adding some drugs to the Unnamye, and there will be more to come. In terms of development, I will be working on the farm and the festival mentioned in the calendar, and will aim to post these up as soon as possible before next week.

I think (and please correct me if I'm wrong) that I have everyone's quests, whether personal or more large-scale up to date. If someone has slipped through the cracks PLEASE let me know because I'd feel awful for forgetting!

Hi folks, another update. Y'just can't get enough of them, right? xD

Some of you may have seen, I have started a vlog. If anyone has any questions they'd like answering, then I ask away. I already have to answer, "How do you see your city?" from Gossamer, and "What is Alvadas based on/What does Alvadas look like?" from our own Kawari. I'll answer them when I can guys!

Next up, Dexius has written up an NPC who is now in the NPC list. Said list however is still a little let's say wonky, but Desmond is available for use. Also, Aislyn has been a star and written up an absolute tonne of drugs in the Unnamye, so anyone looking for their thrills and chills you can be sure to find a whole load of things there. Thank you both!

Time is ticking onwards, and the season of Winter will be on us next month. If you haven't already, please get your two job threads up and running, or at least put down some placeholders. For those of you doing NaNo, anyone in Alvadas who completes it and gets to 50,000 words gets a boxcode from me! Woo, exciting.

There are lots of interesting plots brewing, and I'm really looking forward to next season. There are also some things going on behind the scenes, which I'm sure will come to light soon enough!!

One more thing: sparked from a recent conversation, I have been reviewing the Underground. Most people in Alvadas either don't know about it, or don't use any locations in it. If there were things there which were useful, would it be a place that people would be more interested in exploring and utilising in threads, or does it just not fit in with some of your characters? I'm thinking of adding a new shop there, a poisons wholesaler/larceny shop, for the reference.

I've yet to have Dex discover the underground but I think he could fit in nice down there if some new locations were added!

Hey Kal,

I know I'm not in Alvadas (so maybe I don't have quite the same sort of say), but I just wanted to give some feedback on the Underground.

Personally, I adored using the Underground. For Sayana it was a place to hide when she needed it. I didn't necessarily use all the locations in it though. Here's a brief personal critique on them:
- The Streets Below: General Underground description
- The Strands: Once I considered using it as a trippy mind bending experience, but it's rather specific and if I wanted some wacky set of illusions I might just think of my own situation.
- The Sealed Grounds: Used it once. I like the mystery around it even though I'm not much of a ghost person. Any Craven would like it, and I like how it ties the Craven history together.
- The Gibbets: Sayana was never poor enough to visit it.
- Ristage Caverns: Sayana had no reason to find it. But OOCly I love the historical aspect.

I love the idea of a poison / larceny shop. I think I might have softly used such a location (and placed it directly under the Bizarre). Reysin and Sayana also visited a fence / pawnshop in the Underground once. I'd be curious how well the Alvadas law enforcement is integrated with the Underground. As in, will Listeners track you down just as easily if you are in the Underground? Or is it easier to make dirty deals in the Underground versus the city proper?

Not sure if this would fit into Alvadas, but would you find a group/gang of tricksters/pranksters in the Underground? Like various misfits who take on the nastier traits of Ionu? Yet still relatively light-hearted?

I have a few things to do for you all, some of you have asked me questions, others have outstanding requests that need to be dealt with. Currently though Fluctuation and I are working our way through the calendar, which is getting there. Hopefully, it will either be posted this evening or tomorrow. Be patient just a little longer! In lieu of an actual calendar for the moment, I wanted to give a little heads up on what will be going on this season. My main theme for Winter is 'Stories and Tales'. Alvadas is going to change into a miniature replica of Mizahar, where different parts of Alvadas will take on aspects of different cities around Mizahar. This illusion will last the whole season through. From this there will be 3 modded threads (me and thee threads only). Dates are yet to be decided, but I'll let you know when the calendar is out. Hope this helps at least a little.

I should get the calendar up tomorrow. Work was busy today, I had to show a new guy the ropes, and when I got home I just wanted to chill. Hope you can understand.
