"Can I get a ring?" Ferrin asked simply, he blushed, knowing full well what the occasion was for. He's been with Jade for quite some time; sometimes, Ferrin wondered if this was too early, or maybe too late. He doesn't recall when a couple usually engages/marries. Ferrin stood waiting for the blacksmith at the Ironworks. He was directed here by another squire, of course, why haven't Ferrin visited this place before? Perhaps Ferrin hadn't paid much mind to needed to visit the Ironworks.

Ferrin also hadn't paid much mind to the appearance of Roz. Now, Ferrin notices the man, with whatever glimpses of light that entered the room. He bore grey skin; with silvery hued veins. It was interesting, and odd to look at. Ferrin wondered what kind of being this man was, he wasn't human. Though, he could probably pass as human.

"You looking for a ring?" The grey tinted man asked, as he looked up and wiped sweat from his forehead, and used a cloth to dry up his face. The Isur was built, strong and muscled. Roz looked like he had more muscles than Ferrin, when Ferrin compared himself to the Isure, he felt discouraged almost; weak even. He didn't show any of his shock directly, he kept a bland expression, simple, but deep down, he felt feeble.

"Um, yes?" Ferrin replied, blinking some, and looking at Roz.
"The occasion?" The Isur asked Ferrin with content glares. "Also, if you're wanting to know what I am; I'm an Izurian, the names Roz." He said gently, showing Ferrin a grey hand with calloused fingers and such around his hand.
Ferrin nodded, and shook the Isur's hand as well. He felt warm, as if he were just working near a furnace all day or something.
"Good to meet you; I'm Ferrin." The Squire replied smiling weakly at the man. He wasn't good for small talk; mostly quiet.

"Good, now what's the ring for?" The Isur repeated calmly, releasing the grip of Ferrin's hold.
"Engagement."

"Oh, wondrous." The Isur said. Ferrin nodded, and blushed some. He wasn't sure if he should've actually came up with the truth behind his reasoning, or whether it was better for him if he were to come up with a lie.

"Thanks." The Squire replied. Ferrin nodded, and hoped that the man would make his ring within a timely manner, it would benefit him, because he'll have to check in with his patron if he doesn't have training at all tomorrow. So much had happened in Fall, and the squire was ready for Winter. Hopefully, things in the future won't go wrong, the squire hopes for his future to be the best. Not only his though, he plans on making both; Dina and Jade happy as well. It would make things so much easier if they were happy, but not every day would go right. It depends on the obstacles, and the encounters that you run into. Ferrin knows that, but it's also how you perceive your choices and determine your choices.

Sometimes, Ferrin always felt as if he were always the one able to make choices, but he had another feeling that the Gods of Fate were always the one giving Ferrin the available options to decide from. Though, Ferrin wondered how many possibilities for every question that he comes across. It's probably a lot of psychology, but maybe there would be a reasoning behind all of this?

"Your ring would be ready in the morning, be sure to come back tomorrow to come and pick it, Ferrin." The Isurian said after he jotted down a few things on a piece of paper. Ferrin nodded.

"Okay, I'll be here, some time after sunrise then." Ferrin said. "See you then."
"Same for you, I bid you farewell now." Ferrin nodded, and took his leave.

Ferrin awoke, he looked over at Jade and smiled, knowing all well as to what he has planned for today. The squire quietly got out of bed and slowly got his stuff on, he belted Clivath, his short broadsword and left his armor inside the living room. He felt that he wouldn't need it today, for sure. Since all he has planned today was to retrieve the ring and spend some time with both Jade and Dina. Two of his most favorite woman on the world of Mizahar.

There would be nothing he wouldn't do for the two of them, and no matter what, Ferrin has been at a point where he'll love them no matter what they do or where they'll go. Ferrin unlocked the door with his key after pulling the device from his pocket, it clicked with a satisfying click afterwards. The squire quietly closed the door to not disturb the two as they're in slumber. Ferrin hoped that he'll be back before the two wake up anyhow since it's just a bell or so apart from it being sunrise. Though, these days felt longer somehow.

Ferrin descended the two levels of stairs from his apartment level, and grabbed a cookie that Matilda had left this morning, and just recently somehow, she's probably still making some more batches in her kitchen. Her cookies were always good, and Ferrin headed out the door, and onto the busy streets known as Syliras.

Though, the traffic isn't as condensed as it is some time before the afternoons. It's still busy nonetheless. Ferrin joined the traffic headed for the inner most portion of the city and leaving the Maiden District.

He glanced upwards, as the moon seemed to be still descending below the horizon, but there was a gorgeous orange/yellow sunset that was slowly awaking as well. Ferrin figured that he would have long enough for sure at this point.

Eventually, Ferrin found his way back to The Ironworks and made sure to enter before getting caught with the traffic again. He walked in and noticed Roz doing some finishing touches on the ring. He blew on it a few times, and the Isur looked quite sweaty. Ferrin wondered how long it would take to make a ring, perhaps a long time. Maybe... more than a few hours at least, a half a day?

"Aye, so I see you've made it?"The Isurian looked up as the door closed behind Ferrin with a click. The squire shrugged tiredly.
"Yep. How's it looking?" Ferrin asked.
"Oh, she's a beaut. That'll be six gold."

"Six gold?" Ferrin arched a brow, it was a magnificent piece of work, but he could probably find a ring for far cheaper... but this isn't about price now is it? Thought Ferrin, as he stood there, looking dumbfounded and lost almost. He brushed his palms through the bangs of his hair, and back, sighing.

"Six gold, deal? It took me bells to perfect this Ferrin."Roz explained, "Plus, that extra gold will help me with getting more materials."The Isurian spoke tiredly, but he was excited nonetheless. At least, it's not as expensive as a suit of armor, that's for sure. Ferrin's glad that he doesn't have to pay for one out of his own pocket. He nodded.

"Okay, six gold and you have a deal, but you better use that extra gold for the materials." Ferrin pleaded, he took the box that Roz had put the ring in and gently placed it in his pants pocket. "Thank you so much, Roz." Ferrin said, smiling, he waved to the blacksmith and headed out. Thinking of a good plan to get Jade out of the house. Hopefully... it'll work, whatever he comes up with. He blushed, looking up to the sky, seeing Syna's light glowing heavenly over the horizon, and thinking of how a peaceful day this is going to be. Despite the busy streets.

Notes: A sweet thread, I think you captured Ferrin's feelings about his family pretty well. Be careful with your tenses though, you quite often write in the present tense when you should be sticking to the past tense. I couldn't give you any negotiation unfortunately as Ferrin didn't actually negotiate in any way. Enjoy your grade
