[BLTN] January's Bakeoff! Homemade Pizza!

JANUARY'S HOMEMADE PIZZA BAKEOFF!!!

Okay, this is definitely Better Late Than Never but Cayenne wanted a Homemade Pizza Bakeoff for January. We're going to start trying to announce these all the first week in the month then give everyone a full month to do their recipes and share since a lot of us are crazy busy. Because this one was so late, you'll have an additional two weeks to turn your pictures in. I just happened to be doing mine tonight (because Cayenne finally gave me a great pizza dough recipe).

The only rules on this one is that the crust has to be made from scratch and you have to prove it with photographic evidence. Also, December's Yummy Cake bakeoff has been awarded. Again BLTN!

And here it is with burnt cheese, because in true Miza addict fashion, I was posting and I forgot it was there. And being the fancy cook I am, my ego gets in the way of me using timers. Oh well. It tastes fine, it just looks horrible. </3

Well, I figured since my boyfriend and I were planning on making homemade pizza, why not?

This is the dough being mixed. I know, the pans about to fall off the table.

Pizza dough :

SAUCE :

White cheese stuff, which they didn't give me enough off. I'm a cheese person.

CHEESE :

Ham, because I also enjoy ham.

MMMMM HAM :

sharp cheddar, because it's a crime not to put more cheese on your pizza.

Did you say more CHEESE? :

Bacon. Because I don't care about heart attacks.

It's a pig fest on this pizza! :

In the oven, blah blah blah, and you have a burnt pizza.

My roomate ate most of it. He is a pig. And judging from the contents that are on this pizza, thats cannablism. :

Can I just mention that my boyfriend didn't help at all? Well, he didn't get any pizza that night.

Cool Pizza Stitch, Nivex!

Here's my shot at this baking pizza. Can I just say that the insane amount of effin time needed to knead a dough to pass the stretch test is insane? Yes, that made sense thank you.

At the top is when it was sitting on a plate while I waited for it to rise, and then after I rolled it onto the pan and pricked it with a fork, and then after it got out of the oven. A typical cheese pizza with cheddar and mozzarella. Yum!

Hello guys! So I finally did it. But the recipe I had for the dough was sort of a disaster. It ended up being a thin crust dough instead of a rising dough? i dunno. It was still pretty tasty.

This is based on a pizza I had while in Singapore at a place called Barossa. It is topped with grilled chicken, baby spinach, peaches, and pecans. I know, it sounds crazy, but it's effing fantastic. So without further ado...

I made a Hawaiian pizza (with hotdogs instead of ham)

I think I did something wrong right there...

but hey! I made a ground beef and cheese pizza. Made the crust too thick. Only my momma loved me enough to eat a quarter of it. It's fail pizza
