This is a skill goal contest. Pick a skill, then raise it by ten points by Sunday. This contest will last Fri, Sat, and Sun... to be over by Sunday 10pm PST. Please sign up below if you are interested and let us know what skill you are going to try and raise. There will be SMALL prizes involved.

Due to a request, we're going to extend the contest until Friday. Those of you that finished today will get a cash bonus of $500 and I might make the prize a bit bigger if you write multiples of your 5-point increases after what you assume is the initial 10-point base contest. Those that finished so far are Rhydian and Cleon so you two get the cash bonus. The rest of you, get it done by Wednesday night, 10 pm PST.

Hi Folks!

I said these were going to be small prizes, and I'm sticking to that. Like I said before, those that finished before the extension automatically get 500 GM so go wild and spend freely. Those individuals were Rhydian and Cleon so they get the 'bonus'. All of you that completed the challenge gets a "Design Your Own Kit". This kit is in a waterproof leather roll that one can unwind and utilize the items within it. It must be small enough to store in a backpack neatly.

The Kit can be the type of your own making.

Are you an artist? Pick a kit of paints and brushes, maybe some type of turpentine or a bar of brush cleaning soap... or are you a seamstress? Pick a sewing kit. Healer? Maybe a healing kit? Do you want a survival kit? How about a kit of fishing or maybe even weaving? The sky is the limit. But there are limitations.

First and foremost, the Kit can only contain up to ten items. The items are indestructible and if they are things that can be used up, they replenish automatically. They must be compact items.... no huge things... it has to be something reasonable that will roll up in a leather roll... so small books are okay as long as they are palm-sized or smaller, and anything else you can think of.... a carving kit with carving tools would be perfect.

Tell me what kind of kit you want and the ten items (or less if you run out of ideas) you want in the kit.

Thanks for this, had a lot of fun and finally worked on Crylon's Reimancy for the first time in ages. Seeing as its one of his interests, going with a Gadgeteering themed kit: -Double ended chalk- one end thick for marking, other end narrow for precision or writing -Small slate tablet for jotting down notes or numbers -Collapsible Caliper for measuring sizes -Collapsible wooden level with a metal piece dangling from the top to show levelness -Trio of wrenches- small and medium sized adjustable ones along with a pipe wrench. -Trio of hammers- small and medium sledge, and a small mallet
