Aello retracted her hand as soon as she realized Alenias would not be needing it. "Well you seem to be standing up alright," Aello began, as she looked into the Kelvic's eyes. She doesn't seem to be trying to conceal any pain from us, and she certainly isn't wincing, which could only be a good sign. "So that's good..." Aello added, her voice trailing off a bit. "Perhaps we should give it a minute for the stinging to die down. It will be easier for us to continue that way, wouldn't it?" Aello smiled weakly as she waited. Perhaps it would be best for her not to use the dagger. At least, that way, Alenias would not have to move around so much. Slowly, Aello raised her hands, so that they rested a few inches in front of, and to the side of her face. Her palms were flat, and turned towards the Kelvic. "Whenever you are ready, we can go back to doing what we practiced before. The basics," Aello explained. "We'll try to avoid kicks for now, until you get more used to the idea of punching." There was a slight pause, "sorry for moving you too fast. You weren't ready yet, for counters, and fighting blades. We should have practiced more..." Aello said, angrily, at herself. OOCSorry for another blah, short post. |
