This shining population center is considered the jewel of The Sylira Region. Home of the vast majority of Mizahar's population, Syliras is nestled in a quiet, sprawling valley on the shores of the Suvan Sea. [Lore]

Smiling, Clyde continued onward.

"Yes, there are the four basic: fire, water, earth, and air. And there are the three big combos, fire and air make lightning, earth and fire make lava, and water and earth makes ice. And you can also make other combinations, like the steam you just saw me do, though that is not a new element."

"Since you have water now, earth would open up ice, that would be the possible new element. Though it would also allow you to control earth and rocks better, and do new stuff. Like shoot spikes of earth."

Standing a bit off, Clyde had been gathering some res in his mouth, about to try out something else. However he acted instinctively when he saw the water streaming at him. All at once he spat out the gaseous res, and as it left his mouth he turned it to air, shaping it into a gust of wind.

This collided with the squirt of water, making it go straight up. A few moments later, it started to lightly drizzle, as they had made a light rain. Not getting soaked, only slightly wet, he continued on, however Bob had also been hit by the drizzle.

"Here is an idea, since you are wet, use some water reimancy to attract out the water, and you will be dry once more. That is a simple and useful skill to learn."

Making another small ball of res, and igniting the outside, he floated it once more, and warmed himself on its flames.

I am actually in RL a super intelligent hamster from Rhode Island, with a 7 year plan to take over the world.

Update 6/2/18- 1:10AM EST: His 7 year plan a success, and several weeks ahead of schedule, Clyde leaves to oversee the world he has taken over.

No new threads after end of Spring 518-Will still be checking for PM's occasionally, but focusing on a new character.

Graders note: :
Please be aware Clyde is a master Magecrafter. He therefore should not be gaining full xp(or possibly shouldn't gain any at all) for simple tasks related to this magic, such as low level MC items, particularly for repetitions of creations he has done before. Feel free to contact me if unsure of a instance of his magic use compared to his skill level.

[Flashback]A Rolling stone gathers no djed[Bob]

Bob wanted to yell a warning at Clyde as he saw the water shooting towards him but the water was far too fast. But he didn't need to do anything because Clyde saw it too and he saw the shock on his face. Bob's eyes widened as suddenly the water stream shot upwards and became rain. Bob shouted at Clyde "Wh-wha-whats going on? All you did was speak and you made rain?!?"

Bob shook his head frantically, was this boy a magician or a god? In his travels he had never heard of a magician as young and as experienced as Clyde. A god yes, Bob decided that he is in the presence of a god. If anything, the glowing light illuminating Clyde showing his dark silhouette added to the mysticism. Bob could do nothing but stare in awe of this powerful being in front of him.

Then Clyde told Bob to dry himself with his reimancy. "Ye-ye-yes, of course." and Bob obeyed to try and attract all the water over his body to his hand. But his heart was racing too fast and he could not focus, only able to draw the water away from his hair and told Clyde "W-we are both w-w-wet. Maybe its time to go home and ch-ch-change? But Bob is not going to allow someone this power to slip away from him so he suggested to Clyde another meeting. "H-How about we continue our le-lessons next week? Same place?" masking his fear behind a smile.

To be honest, Clyde was a bit confused. He had clearly blown out a gust of air to knock away the stream of water, but Bob was freaking out. Looking him over, he did seem to be looking a bit odd. The only thing Clyde could think of was that perhaps Bob was hallucinating.

And as he knew, this was a early sign of overgiving. It seemed every time they met Bob was doing so, though to be honest Clyde was pretty worn out from all of his magics. His right hand was getting a bit stiff, and his fingers would not bend all the way. Maybe he needed to rest also.

Also it was starting to get rather dark out. As the sun set behind him, Clyde motioned to get Bob's attention, "Yes, i think it is best to be going home, we dont want to stay out to late and be locked out of the city. Next week sounds fine, and we can meet here, we should both go home and get some rest."

Notes: An interesting little thread. :) I have a few specific comments for the two of you:

Clyde: Overall I think you did well in this thread, but there were a couple things that felt off in your depiction of Reimancy. First was you descriptions regarding the appearance of your air Reimancy. While Res is visible, I kept getting the impression that you were having the moving air itself visible.

Second was your "Stream of Steam" use of Reimancy. In my opinion this was a completely impossible use of your Reimancy. Disregarding the fact that steam is water, not air, a stream of heated air without direction or focus from Reimancy would quickly spread out and lose heat. Also remember that Reimancy controls the element, fire, not the results, heat. Using enough fire to get the air hot enough to boil the bark off a tree would also mean it was hot enough to boil the blood in your body as you kept it in the air in front of you. :)

One final thing, not really a problem just a comment. :) During the thread you mentioned a traumatic and forceful initiation into magic, but your CS makes no mention of this in your history. While I can understand the desire to have mysteries in your past, not having things written up in your CS only makes things more difficult for us STs to make interesting, personal, and dramatic ideas and stories for you. :)

Bob: I thought your depiction of your low skill in Reimancy was excellent, but I felt some of your reactions were completely out there. For someone trained in Reimancy and raised in Zeltiva to think that Clyde has god like power because he blew up some water and it sprinkled back down completely baffled me. Especially as Bob had showed himself to be a rather collected and semi-intelligent person up to that point. :)

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to PM me. :)
My posting and other AS work will be slow for the time being. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and I'll try to get back up and running at full speed soon.
