Clyde listened to some of what Jason said, though it happened so fast that there was not really time for the entire speech. Flaring up his fire, he sent off a small ball of res, and took all of the fire with it. With the rest of his res left behind, he took the large ball of flame, and readied it. Just as Jason launched his rocks, Clyde followed up with his large flame ball. Getting it close, the res in its core was slowly used up, and just as it got there, he transmuted the bit of the core left into flame. While the wolf managed to dodge one of the spikes of earth, which grazed one of his shoulders, the other caught him right in the eye. As it started to rear back and let out a scream, his fireball struck. It engulfed his head, and caught much of his fur on fire. However it also ended up breathing in much of the fire, through its nose and mouth. Letting out a large twitch, it tried to breath, however its throat was burned, and so was much of its stomach. It fell down, unconscious, and was quite close to death. The flames from there combo attack had done a good bit of internal damage to its organs, and there was no way to tell if the wolf would even survive. Clyde looked over at Jason, and came near, now that they appeared to be done. He still had a ball of his res left, though it looked like they were more or less done. Now with the big one gone, the others would most likely not return. "Wow... that was a bit unpleasant... Not fun running into that pack... So... do you think we should go? I don't think this is the best place, we may want to start heading back to the city. There is no telling if the others will come back..." |
