24 Winter 511 A.V. – She refocuses her energy this time on her captors, unbeknown to her, the Nighteyes. She now envisions the training dummy as the captors, and plans her strikes on them both. She starts to conspire her every move in preparing herself, setting up the attack, getting leverage. Thoughts of what would come after her escape from the rooms are overlooked.

23 Winter 511 A.V. – Her progress with the sword begins to level off, but she realizes there is more to do with the body. Desperation and anxiety are beginning to rise within her again. She starts planning an escape, thinking of how to get out. She takes special notes of her movement through the confines, her escorts, more details than the general turns she knows by sheer repetition.

21 Winter 511 A.V. – Valorae’s actions have left their mark in the training room. She notices how her strikes have been so precise, so deadly. Each movement is directed at the enemy, and each stroke fueled by some undying energy tainted by the hate underneath the surface. She starts to hone her skill with the sword as fine as she is currently capable.

20 Winter 511 A.V. – Valorae has recuperated at a faster rate than expected and is back in her normal habit of training. The sword is more of an extension at this point, she realizes, and begins to think of how to take advantage of it. Today is spent on reviewing what progress she has made, and ensuring mastery of it. Tomorrow she’d need to bring it all together and be at her prime for the Pits.

18 Winter 511 A.V. – Valorae awakens from a dream again, only this time she sees herself with Syna, interpreting it with a same sense of foresight. Hope is restored, and therefore restores her. She’s still struggling with the reality of her present condition, and the depression lingers. It seems to be another peak in the emotional roller coaster.
