How did one even start out with telling their friend about the worst moment of their life? He had been lying to Ethan about who he was since they met. He just sat there, listening to what the Kelvic was saying, trying to form some sort of sane way to explain what was going on with him. In truth, there was not a sane way. Just strings of apologies and fits of tears.

Ethan's next words surprised Kendall a little. The way a lot of people survived outside of his perfect little bubble in Zeltiva always did. He understood why Ethan did what he had to do to survive. He had done it once too. Back in the cold of winter he had met a Kelvic named Nadala, a cheetah. She was stronger than him being that she was raised by Myrians, although the blond did not know this. He was still scared of her though. She had given him an ultimatum, seduce her or be killed by her claws. Kendall had been so new to the world outside of Zeltiva and he did not know what to do in this situation. He had attempted to seduce her and hated every minute of it. He felt sick every time he thought of it. "I don't blame you for it Ethan. You do what you need to survive."

Kendall looked at Ethan, letting his auristic vision keep an eye on Ethan's aura. "Thank you Ethan, it means a lot." With a deep breath he started to let everything go, fact by fact. "I'm…" The blond fidgeted as he tried to think of what to say and how to say it. "…This is really hard to say." He bit his lip as his mismatched eyes watched Ethan. He just needed to say it. He needed to say everything. "I was kidnapped when I was twenty-one by an animator and my… body got switched with the animator's apprentice. Before then I was a girl." Kendall tried to keep his attention on Ethan but he could not help but look away. "I was told by my family that I was not welcome to be around them anymore. I tried to kill my oldest brother. I can't go home. My family doesn't want to see me ever again." Kendall pulled his legs up to his chest as he started to cry again. He had been working to try and push all of the memories away but now they were all fresh and stinging.

The blond tried to get his thoughts together enough to speak but now all he wanted to do was cry. "I've been away from home for a year now and away from my hometown of Zeltiva for three seasons. No one there knows me anymore and the ones who do have no interest in ever seeing me again. The only person that I knew when I was a girl who still accepts me is Hadrian." Kendall's hand slipped over to his right wrist, wrapping around his mark. His tears seemed to be streaming down his cheeks faster as the chimes passed.

"Please don't hate me Ethan. I'm really sorry that I lead you to believe that I am not… or something that I am not fully. I just did not want you to think I was strange or that there was something wrong with me." Kendall buried his head in his arms and started to sob. "I just want to be normal."
"I'm burning and I'm blacking my lungs.
Boy you know it feels good with fire back on your tongue."

[Kabrin Road] The Wind That Buffets the Flame (Ethan)

Postby Ethan on August 21st, 2011, 9:04 am

There was a long pause as Ethan tried to piece all this together. Kendall had just thrown the words out. It was hard to accept at first... The man he had know and become friends with. The man he had called brother. Met in the stone garden and practiced magic with. Was in fact a woman...

If he hadn't known about Magic and the various forms. He wouldn't of been able to fully grasp the idea. With Hadrian as a teacher, he had become versed in many fields and heard about Animation. Got the basic idea, to switch an entire body?

”Damn.” He muttered heatedly and quickly got up and reached for the nearest shrub. It was a low plant with sturdy roots, but it was good to cover himself with. With a yank he brought the plant out of the ground and placed it in front of his shame. As he sat down in front of Kendall.

”I beg your forgiveness Mistress. I had no way of knowing.” He sat on the heels of his feet. Eyes down turned in shame. How could he be so foolish? What was the use of Auristics if he couldn't tell who was a boy or girl! Petch, silly bird trying to play at magic. Petch him and Petch his insolence. He would be beaten bloody if his master was still alive. Parading naked in front of anyone, boy or girl. It's not how people presented themselves. This is what happens when things relax! Petch it all.

”It won't happen again I promise you.” His voice was flat. Heart racing as the memories came back. Memories of being disobedient. Of split lips and angry purple welts. He paused for a moment. ”You should of told me you were a lady. I wouldn't of been so crass around you.” He grimaced as he remembered all the times he had bounded nude into camp like a fool. The presence of accepting humans and Kelvic's made him care free. He suddenly understood why Kendall was so out of place when he tried to comfort him. What woman would be ok with a naked man hugging them!?

”Your... Kendall.” He paused again and breathed in deep. Eye's still facing the floor. This was ridiculous. He was Kendall's friend. New respects would be given but he wouldn't loose his wits over this. Obviously the other man was pained. The boy only wanted to be normal... He knew not to touch Kendall but he wanted to comfort him. As a brother would. Questions could wait.

”You are perfectly normal. I know this may sound weird from me. Granted I am no Hadrian and I cannot comfort you like he does. But you are normal as can be. You breath you eat and you make water just like me... Excuse me for being blunt.” His eyes darted down again. Why did he have to talk about her peeing? Gods be with him.

”What I'm trying to say. Is life is different between all walks of life and all manor of creatures. I have know Kelvic slaves and poor girls from Cyphrus. Wolf kin that have slaughtered their own masters. I myself loathed and lusted for mine with a passion. Only being a boy of thirteen. None of us are going to have similar paths but we share common traits. We think and live and dream. Love and hate. Feel shame and even act cruel.

If you are living a lie then so am I. I am not even a man in truth. My kind are sought after for slaves or pets. So do not think you aren't normal. Your life has just been eventful but you are just like me.
Reaching over carefully he squeezed her hand in his own. With a gentle smile. ”As for your family I am truly sorry, but you have Hadrian and me. We are not much but we are always here for you.”

[Kabrin Road] The Wind That Buffets the Flame (Ethan)

Postby Kendall Saarinen on August 22nd, 2011, 12:57 am

The colors of Ethan's aura worried Kendall. The blond knew that his news would come as a surprise to Ethan but he was still scared of what might happen. He looked down at the ground as he waited for the Kelvic to speak. There were two ways this could go. Ethan could be understanding like Jaelyn and Seven had been or he could push him away like Markus had done. When the words finally came to Ethan they were short and hard to read. He had to be strong, if not for himself, for Ivak. His God did not need His followers seeming to be weak.

A blush stung at Kendall's cheeks. "You don't have to call me mistress. I clearly am not one." Although Kendall wanted to be a girl again he did not like people treating him like one now that he was a male. No one but Hadrian. "I appreciate that you are covering yourself up though. I'm sorry if I came off as rude before." He felt bad that he was making the Kelvic go against his nature and over himself. Ethan's courtesy was appreciated though.

"I don't want you to stop being yourself and I don't want you treat me any differently. I'm still the same person." While Kendall respected that Ethan would try to keep himself covered, he did not want to all of a sudden have Ethan treating him differently. "You don't need to change anything… except the nudity. I've had a bit of an issue with nudity since my accident." A small smile twitched at the edge of his lips. He wanted Ethan to feel as though he did not offend him. "Truthfully, if I am going to be stuck like this I want to try and move on and be what I am, a…" Kendall took a deep breath in, trying to admit out loud what he did not even want to admit to himself. "…a man. I am still having a hard time dealing with all of this but at some point I will need to move on. It is easier if I stop trying to obsess over everyone seeing me as a girl." Kendall closed his eyes and breathed in, trying to find truth in the words of Hadrian's that he was about to speak. "We are all just souls moving from life to life. Gender is in our bodies, not in our soul. Hadrian told me that and I am trying to believe it. I was not raised as philosophical as that." Kendall's smile brightened slightly as he spoke of Hadrian. "I am learning though. Hadrian has helped me a lot." Kendall pulled his knees closer to his chest as he spoke. It was clear that he was doing it out of the need for comfort. He was tired of always feeling lost in his own body.

Kendall's shy smile widened a bit more as Ethan continued to talk. A small giggle, stifled slightly by his stuttering breath bubbled from his lips. "Thank you Ethan." Kendall rarely giggled around others. He usually hid his laugh in an attempt to sound more masculine. Ethan knew his big secret though and because of that there was no reason to hide his girlish giggle. He sniffled slightly as he wiped a few tears from his eyes. "I'm glad to have you and Hadrian as my family. You are much more accepting."

With a small sigh Kendall looked at Ethan. "I wish you could have met me back then Ethan. I was so much happier." He smiled lightly as he thought back to his time in Zeltiva. "I miss it a lot. Getting to go to the university, handing out with my brothers, writing with my mom. My life was pretty near perfect. I was even engaged to be married." Kendall chuckled slightly at the words. It seemed like lifetime ago that he was with Kay'lan. "His name was Kay'lan Snowsong, a Vantha musician from Avanthal, where we are heading after Ravok. That is a big reason why I did not want to go there." Kay'lan had always promised Kendall that they would see Avanthal but now they would never go. Not that Kendall minded too much. He was long over Kay'lan. The memory of him would be all over the frozen city though. "I was almost Kendall Samantha Snowsong and yes, my middle name really is Samantha." He chuckled slightly at the sound of his middle name. It clearly did not fit his current form. "I miss it all but at the same time I cannot help but be happy with where I am now. I know it seems strange. I wish I was a girl but in this form I get to be with Hadrian and he makes me happier than my perfect life in Zeltiva ever did." The smile on Kendall's lips was bright in his own shy way. "If I get anything out of my accident I am glad it was him. I love him so much."

[Kabrin Road] The Wind That Buffets the Flame (Ethan)

Postby Ethan on August 28th, 2011, 6:39 am

Ethan felt his heart tug a little as Kendall giggled, it was beautiful and heart warming. The blond's smile was more genuine as well.. Or just more natural. His voice took on a pinch of femininity as well. It was adorable to finally see Kendall more comfortable. Although he couldn't shake the feeling that he was missing something.

Ethan studied the blonds face as he spoke of Zelvita and his old life. He didn't have to use Auristics to see the obvious longing. He did however, notice how his expressions grew lighter. It was a sad fate to always have to put on a mask and hide who you were. Ethan felt for the girl. Even though he just found out. It was strangely easy to see Kendall as a girl now. Ethan always thought the boy was a little weird but this explained everything. What he saw before as oddities, where now rookie mistakes.

When he heard about her old relationship and near marriage. Ethan narrowed his eyes but kept his smile. Old relationships meant old problems. Old problems could make a rift between Hadrian and Kendall should the boy ever turn up again. He was feeling protective of his teacher and a little hopeful.

"I miss it all but at the same time I cannot help but be happy with where I am now. I know it seems strange. I wish I was a girl but in this form I get to be with Hadrian and he makes me happier than my perfect life in Zeltiva ever did." With those words. Kendall laid to rest the ideas of anyone else coming between them. She is committed obviously, and young love digs deep roots in a woman..

I am glad... As he spoke, Ethan started to notice that smile of Kendall's. It was such a beautiful smile... He must of seen it somewhere before. After a pause he found his tongue again.

”I am glad you are so happy with Hadrian.” Why did he say that!? Pausing at that sentence would give Kendall the wrong idea. Show doubts in Ethan's words or stir strange thoughts. ”It would be dreadful to see this Kay'lan boy interfere with you and Hadrian. I am glad you are over him?” His tone was questioning but polite.

”And don't worry about this changing anything between us ser. You will always be my friend. Also I am curious about how you looked and where you lived in Zelvita? It was one of my favorite places to dock when I traveled with my master. Lots of pretty girls as I remember it. Of course last time I saw the little spit of rock I was just a boy. Although that wasn't that long ago!” Ethan laughed as he realized just how short a time it was. He smiled wide and rubbed his chest with one hand. Summoning the gel like Res from the scars in his chest, still not fully healed. The skin was light pink and puckered but the Res still came through willingly. He formed it into a ball he cupped in his hand.

”I remember cutting a lot of purses in the city. Fun times, but long gone. I could of met you before and never known it.” He smiled up at Kendall with a sense of knowing. Gently hr floated the ball of Res between his hands as he thought. It was the color of light gold with darker flex at the edges. Similar to his eyes.

At first he just had a hunch that he saw Kendall before, but now it was a little more solid. Call it a gut instinct but he knew they did. He just couldn't pin the where or when. ”You know I never forget a face?”

[Kabrin Road] The Wind That Buffets the Flame (Ethan)

Postby Kendall Saarinen on August 29th, 2011, 4:58 am

Kendall's mismatched eyes widened at Ethan's words. Of course he was over Kay'lan! How could he be fawning after his past lover when he now had Hadrian? The mage treated him with respect and patience. Something Kay'lan rarely did. "Kay'lan will never, and I repeat never come between Hadrian and myself." He smiled lightly at Ethan. "I loved him, I won't lie about that. He does not see me like Hadrian does though. He doesn't have the patience or the beautiful mind that Hadrian does." Kendall bit his lip as he thought of his last encounter with Kay'lan. How the Vantha completely broke his heart. "Kay'lan dumped me because I became this." Kendall motioned to himself, clearly not with a sense of pride. "Hadrian fell in love with me regardless of it. That is what a lover is. Someone who loves your soul, not your body." His smile was bittersweet, but a smile none the less. The memories pained him not because he missed Kay'lan but because of how he had embarrassed him. "Kay'lan made me feel like I was nothing and now he is nothing to me."

With a shy smile he looked at Ethan. "Really, you don't have to speak to me so formally. Just call me Kendall." Kendall's smile brightened as he looked up into the trees above, attempting to recall his feminine form. It had been a year since he had seen it in the mirror. How long would it be until he forgot it? "I was short… well shorter than I am now. I suppose I was a good height for a girl. I had long, wavy, brown hair and green eyes, like my right eye." An index finger reached up to point to his green eye. "I had lighter skin than I do now… Sorry, I am not explaining too well. I'm sure my description could fit half the girls in Zeltiva." Kendall let out a sigh. "It's been a while since I have seen myself. I hope I'm not forgetting who I am."

Looking back at Ethan, Kendall smiled lightly. "Wouldn't it be interesting if we had met? For the love of the Gods, I knew Hadrian back then, why not you too?" Kendall was trying to keep his spirits up. His mind was slowly slipping back into the dark again. He was scared. He did not want to forget himself. He shook his head lightly, trying to clear his thoughts. "What about you Ethan? What did you look like?" He giggled lightly when he tried to think of Ethan as a child. "Back when you were a little birdie."

[Kabrin Road] The Wind That Buffets the Flame (Ethan)

Postby Ethan on September 3rd, 2011, 8:27 am

"I was short… well shorter than I am now. I suppose I was a good height for a girl. I had long, wavy, brown hair and green eyes, like my right eye." Ethan didn't have to examine the man's eyes. Ethan had a good memory when it came to faces. He looked at Kendall and smiled lightly. Knowing exactly where they had met before. It made his stomach twist a little. Gods be good, how could there be such a coincidence? Of all the women Hadrian could of dated, it was Kendall.. The odds where too great. It must be the deft hands of Lhex at work.

"What about you Ethan? What did you look like?" Kendall's giggle gave the Kelvic butterflies. It was such a strange thing. To hear the same laugh, only in a different body. "Back when you were a little birdie." Kendall seemed happy, but he wondered how he would react. He slowly started stretching the ball of Golden res he held in his hands. Mentally forcing it to twist gently. The gel like substance obey but not without resistance. Ethan often found himself toying with Res while he thought. Hadrian told him to make a habit of training and so he did.

”You want to know how I looked?” He sat cross legged. The random up turned bush, still covering his manhood. It itched something fierce but he didn't dare expose himself again. ”Well at the time I was pretty young. Obviously more beautiful than any kid was supposed to be. As I am more handsome than any man, now.” He flashed Kendall a wicked smile. ”I was very tall and scrawny, my hair was more brown than dirty blond if I recall correctly... It's odd that was only three years ago. Kelvics where never meant to live long.”

He paused for a moment. Thinking back on what Kendall used to look like. ”You do not give yourself justice Kendall. As I recall you were quite fetching when I was a boy. Had my feathers all ruffled up. I would of brought you bones if I didn't think it would freak you out.” Ethan tittered happily. ”you had beautiful brown locks of hair that would gently curl as it tumbled down your shoulders. Beautiful high cheek bones and soft sultry lips.” He smiled wide as he batted his eye lashes at Kendall. Teasing him to take any edge off the memory she had.

”As I recall your body was sweet as honey. Delicate soft breasts, gentle rolling hips and a great backside.” He used his hands to outline the form of her body in the air. The Res dissapating and forgotten. He blushed a little as he went on. ”I was rather fond of you. When I was docked in Zelvita. You were often at the docks writing things, or at the university. As a Kelvic I had little better to do than spy on you. My first little human sweet heart. The gods must of intended us to meet again. You me and Hadrian.” The blush was plain to see now, but he kept his head and smiled.

”Oddly enough you have changed into a body befitting of your old. Your quite handsome Kendall Samantha Saarinen.

[Kabrin Road] The Wind That Buffets the Flame (Ethan)

Postby Kendall Saarinen on September 4th, 2011, 5:36 am

Kendall watched as Ethan worked with his Res. It was interesting to see a Kelvic work with magic. Cathan had always seemed to have an issue grasping it, although he had not work to hard with it. When Ethan spoke up, Kendall nodded politely, a kind smile on his lips. As the kelvic talked, a memory formed in Kendall's mind. Maybe he had met Ethan before.

A light giggle bubbled from Kendall's lips. "Sounds like you were modest too." The playful sarcasm in the blond's tone was painfully evident but he used it in jest. Kendall tried to think back to Zeltiva. He had been trying so hard to block everything about the city out.

Ethan's praise was appreciated but it caused a bright blush to warm his cheeks. It had been a long time since someone had talked about his female form. "Thank you Ethan. That is very kind." He could not believe that Ethan had known him all of those years ago. It brought a lot of thoughts up. Thoughts of Lhex and fate. Was all of this, everything that had happened to him, meant to happen? Had it all been planned out? Was becoming a male what was always waiting for him? A worried look shadowed his face, although only for a chime before he forced himself to perk up. Ethan was being kind and this was not a time to look upset. It might give Ethan the wrong message.

Kendall's blush only darkened as Ethan continued to talk. He had never had someone talk to him like the kelvic was. Kay'lan rarely complemented him unless he wanted sex, or something of the like and Hadrian was often much more… soft and poetic with his complements. Ethan was blunt, to put it plainly. "Wow… I never knew you felt that way about me… or who I used to be. It's very sweet."

The blond giggled slightly as he pulled his knees up to his chest. It seemed the longer Ethan talked, the deeper his blush became. "You are really kind." Kendall did not feel handsome. If anything, he felt strange and subpar, at least looks-wise. "I don't think I am all too good looking but thank you." Although Kendall was handsome, like Ethan had said, he could not see it. It is hard for one to see their own beauty when they hate their reflection.

Although it was off topic, Kendall could not help but ask the next question. "How much do you know of the Gods Ethan?" He had heard Kelvics did not know much of magic or the divine. Ethan had shown that he was more than capable with magic though. It drove Kendall to wonder about the Kelvic's understanding of the divine. Did he know of Lhex and his constant play with fate? Of course, Kendall's ever present wonder about other's view of Ivak was sparked as well. Besides, this was a wonderful way for Kendall to get the attention off of himself.

[Kabrin Road] The Wind That Buffets the Flame (Ethan)

Postby Ethan on September 4th, 2011, 6:58 am

"How much do you know of the Gods Ethan?" A slow smile crept across his lips.

”I give you compliments and make you blush like a maiden and you return me with talks of the gods? Usually my words get me between a woman's thighs. If I want it or not.” He chuckled and fixed his eyes on the blond. ”I guess my abilities to stir loins stops with you. You are a strange one Kendall, but I can play nice. For now.” Ethan gave her a coy smile. ”A young boy's first crush is a hard thing to forget. Especially amongst animals. Where passion runs deeper than loins.”

”As for the gods. Sadly I am a little ignorant in that area. Hadrian has taught me a few and Sondra as well. The one's I know about and take the time for. Are Zulrav and Eywaat. Eywaat for my beautiful plumage and talons, Zulrav for the wind beneath my wings and the clouds I pierce through as I fly.” As he spoke he fiddled with his Res some more. He was feeling like a poor disciple, but he was new and ignorant to the ways of the gods.

”Can you teach me a little more about them? How to pray to them a little better, and how to do it properly? I already owe them so much. It is only right I serve them better.” He paused a moment. Knowing nothing was free, even amongst friends. ”If you help me I can do something for you. Need a pair of wings? I could hunt for you or do your wash? Both are easy to me and I know how weak and helpless humans are.” He couldn't help but smile. As he teased Kendall.

[Kabrin Road] The Wind That Buffets the Flame (Ethan)

Postby Kendall Saarinen on September 6th, 2011, 4:23 am

Kendall smiled awkwardly as looked at Ethan. "I'm not a woman now, am I?" While flattery would have gone miles with Kendall when he had been a woman, now it seemed more like kind words instead of something to lay with someone over. Maybe it was his male mentality slowly taking over. Men did not need others to coo over them and tell them how beautiful they looked or how desirable their body parts were. "Believe me though, I am thankful for the words. You are extremely kind." He needed to have Ethan know he was thankful. The bird was becoming a good friend and he did not want to keep offending him.

The words about Kendall being strange hurt a little, even if he knew they were just a joke. He hated that he was strange. He wanted to normal, like everyone else. Everyone else in their party seemed to know who they were, what they were. Sondra, the tough and brave Konti. Ethan, the friendly and caring shapeshifter. Then there was Hadrian, the intelligent and of course very appealing mage. He wanted to know who he was like everyone else but he felt lost, even now as he was slowly starting to come to terms with his situation.

Kendall nodded lightly as Ethan talked about the Gods he knew of. The Kelvic knew more than he expected, although the Gods he chose were quite obvious choices for a bird kelvic, not that it meant any less of his worship. "Yeah, I can teach you. You don't have to do anything for me. I like talking about the Gods." He looked at Ethan curiously. Could he tell him about his connection to Ivak? "I'm not really sure where to start. I suppose… with Lhex. He is the God of fate. He is why we met, why you are a Kelvic and I am a human, and even…" Kendall stopped for a moment, trying to bring up the courage to say what was on his mind. "…even why I had my accident. Everything having to do with fate is his realm."

Kendall's hand absentmindedly wrapped around his wrist where his gift from Ivak marked his skin. "Another deity you might be interested in is Caiyha. She is the Goddess of plants and animals. She is the mother of Eywaat." Kendall did not know as much about the divine as Hadrian, or at least as much depth as his lover. He had learned enough at the university to know the broad details of the Mizaharian pantheon though. "Caiyha is all around us. In the grass, in the trees, even in you a little bit when you are a bird." Kendall smiled lightly as he looked at Ethan. "All in all, there are Gods or Goddesses for pretty much anything you can think of. The seasons, the elements, even celestials up in the sky have some deity to their name." Kendall chuckled slightly as he made a grand gesture to the sky.

"To pray, it is important to know who your faith lies in and why it lies with them." With a small sigh, Kendall rolled up his right sleeve to show his Azenth mark to Ethan. "Sometimes Gods or Goddesses mark people. That is usually a big reason why people will pray to them." Running his fingers over the flames on his wrist, Kendall watched Ethan's aura for any sign that he did not favor Azenth. Of course, there was always the chance that he did not know about Ivak, or like Hadrian, did not harbor ill will against the God. "I was marked by Ivak, the God of fire, volcanos, and emotion. People are more often than not marked for a reason but most importantly, one needs to attract a deity's attention for them to mark them. When a deity marks you, they are sharing their power and that is no something they do lightly." Kendall hurried on, not wanting Ethan to question him about why he had been marked by Ivak. It was not a story he liked to dwell upon. "I'm getting off topic here though. To pray depends greatly on the individual. While some people like to do rituals to show their deity thanks, others might meditate or preach. You seem to have an affinity to Zulrav and Eywaat. Your worship could be as simple as flying through Zulrav's winds or preening the feathers Eywaat gave you." Kendall fidgeted a little as his hand tightened around his wrist. He was slightly worried about what he was about to say but he let the words out. "We can pray together if you like." Kendall had never prayed with someone before. He had always considered it a more personal thing to do but now Ethan knew who he worshiped so, where was the harm?
"I'm burning and I'm blacking my lungs.
Boy you know it feels good with fire back on your tongue."

[Kabrin Road] The Wind That Buffets the Flame (Ethan)

Postby Ethan on September 11th, 2011, 6:50 am

"Yeah, I can teach you. You don't have to do anything for me. I like talking about the Gods." Kendall said, looking at Ethan with curiosity. Ethan returned the look with his own curiosity. It was odd that someone didn't want payment. Nothing came free amongst men. Even words were given a price. Which suited the Kelvic. He could pay his debts and be done with it. This was interesting but he would eventually find a hidden way to pay the man back.

As the blond talked to Ethan about the gods. He sat on his heels. Pouring all his attention and interest into the other's words. For every answer Kendall gave. A hundred more questions came to mind. Lhex was the god of fate? Did that mean he was also the controller of the God's fate? Did that mean he was all powerful and controlled all things. Or just kept track of peoples destiny? And this Caiyha? She was the god of animals, and life. Including Ethan. Then why hadn't he felt her presence before? Or was she with him every time he changed, was she the light that swarmed his body? And how did the gods go about doing things? Did they have human bodies or where they not for our eyes to see?

"Sometimes Gods or Goddesses mark people. That is usually a big reason why people will pray to them." Kendall rolled up a sleeve as he spoke. Revealing a tattoo of sorts. In the likeness of flames engulfing his wrist. It was much more beautiful than any tattoo done by man. He dipped into his Auristic senses. Eager to capture the feeling of a mark from the gods for his mental records.

He lifted his left hand towards the marks and held the tips of his fingers above his flesh. When his senses opened and the Aura flooded in. He was a little perplexed. He felt odd somehow. Almost like he wasn't even feeling the Aura at all, but their were so many strange senses and feelings along with it. He couldn't wrap his mind around it. Or begin to comprehend what he just felt. He let go of the Aura with a puzzled and almost troubled look.

-ity marks you, they are sharing their power and that is no something they do lightly." Kendall was looking at him and for the life of him. He couldn't remember a word Kendall said. He didn't even know how long he had been speaking. "I'm getting off topic here though. To pray depends greatly on the individual. While some people like to do rituals to show their deity thanks, others might meditate or preach. You seem to have an affinity to Zulrav and Eywaat. Your worship could be as simple as flying through Zulrav's winds or preening the feathers Eywaat gave you." Gods be good it was hard to concentrate on the blond. Whatever he just felt. It was beyond him and none of Ethan's business. "We can pray together if you like."

Ethan took a slow breath and rubbed his eyes. Trying to gather his thoughts, which seemed to scatter in every direction. He needed to remember that feeling aura's was better suited for the Kelvic but the side affects could be an issue. He needed to remember to keep his senses with his wits. Too often had he felt the intense heat of a hot iron as he tried to sense it.

”Forgive me my head aches a little. Sensing that Mark seems to have turned my wits into warm grease. The gods are not something to go about feeling freely.” He chuckled and lifted his head up. Looking at the Human with a smile. But It would be an honor to pray with you Samantha. He said teasing the blond. How do you usually? If it involves nudity I came prepared.
