Character Concept :
Charming and outgoing with a contagious smile. Ethan is a party pleaser plain and simple. With a knack for figuring out what makes people tick. What they need in order to become trusting or infatuated. Then exploiting it. He doesn't care about you, and probably never will. He needs something of yours or he wouldn't have talked to you. If you are Human he will assume your a oppressor of his race or compliant in it. Something in the way of his people's freedom. If you're Kelvic, you will be regarded with hidden suspicion or pity. Nothing more than distant kin that is hardly more evolved than a common beast.
If you catch his interest long enough to prove yourself. You will find him to be a caring friend. But never turn your back on him. Because Ethan is an ambitious man. Always looking at what's next. And if you're in his way, he will remove you and mourn later.
To those that truly know Ethan, he is a disturbed young man. Brutally abused as a child and tormented by the mixed emotions about his former master. He is equal parts man and beast. Capable of compassion and loathing. Good and bad deeds. Like any Kelvic should be. He is the best and worst of both worlds.
Character History :
The early years of Ethan's life are largely unknown. He was born a slave, that is without a doubt. Any information about the whereabouts of his parents or any living relative was lost with his first master.
The situation leading to his previous Owner's death is a closely guarded secret. Few know the fact that he was once a slave. Even fewer know the intimate details. But it's clear the relationship was not one of mutual respect. He was treated as a pet, an experiment in the conditioning and training of Kelvics. The abuse was savage, and frequent. Leaving deep festering wounds in his psyche that have yet to fully heal.
Despite such ill treatment, Ethan learned quickly at the hand of his Master. The grace and self control instilled in him, along with a modest education. Gave him a severe advantage. And when he became free of his Master. He used his lessons to make a life for himself amongst the cities of Sylira.
But the hatred and cruelty of man slowly chipped away at what little humanity he possessed. Ethan quickly learned what it took to survive in the halls of Humankind. He stole, cheated, conned and slept his way through life. Aimless, but content.
This changed suddenly when he met a Mage by the name of Hadrian. Promising to teach him the secrets of Auristics. Ethan agreed to accompany him and help in whatever way he could. Together they joined up with several of his friends and begun a journey that spanned from Sylira to Taldera and back again.
Currently in the city of Zelvita, Ethan has taken up a job with the Wave Guard. Setting in his roots alongside his teacher Hadrian.
Physical Description :
At first sight the most noticeable thing about Ethan is his eyes. Pale yellow orbs the color of dull sand. They are quick to smile, and often have a look of feral curiosity. Leaving doubts in your mind about his humanity. He has a mess of dirty blond hair. And is shaved more often than not.
At six foot four inches, he is taller than most. His muscle mass is condensed and wiry. Giving him a lean but solid look. He has pale skin, turned to a dusty bronze from years of travel.
As a Lammergeier his black wings stretch farther than most men stand. His talons are thick and powerful, created to clutch rather than pierce. His eyes are blood red with irises the color of old bone. Framed by a stripe of tar black feathers. The plumage on his chest, head and legs are orange with a redish tint.
To the ignorant he is a winged demon. Assumed to be a deadly predator. An grievous insult to the gentle nature of the Lammergeier the gods shaped him after.

Fall -60th Ethan has searched for more than a season, with no success at finding his master. -64th Under the weight of guilt and failure. Ethan succumbs to months of malnutrition and settles into die. -65th Young girl from Sunberth finds and nurses Ethan back to health. When his strength returns he flees.
510 AV Winter -90th Meets a young Kelvic named Emilie Joungblood. Who convinces him to escort her to Syliras. Ethan decided to leave his life of thievery in Sunberth.
511 A.V. Spring -25th Ethan and Hadrian meet. The first time Magic is introduced to the Kelvic. Ethan and Hadrian become fast friends. Hadrian takes on Ethan as an apprentice. -50th Ethan meets Hadrian's lover Kendall. The two become friends over time. Soon to be brothers in everything but blood.
Summer -4th Sondra, the pigheaded Konti. Catches Ethan spying on her by the lake. The two meet and Ethan becomes quickly infatuated.
Fall -81st Ethan meets a new Konti friend. Who introduces him to the God Zulrav. This marks the day he obtains his first mark. And forever becomes a follower of Zulrav.
Winter -4th Leaves Avanthal on mission from Hadrian. -13th Arrives at Syliras. -14th Gives plans to commander of Syliran Knights. -16th Leaves Syliras for home. -25th Comes back to Avanthal, has party with Hadrian and Kendall.
