Interesting article! Thanks for posting while I'm still suffering from the aftermath of a long writer's block.

I also think there is an 8th type, or rather, an 8th solution to the whole thing: refuse to believe that you have a creative block. It's easier to say "I want to write/draw/create art" than to say "I have to overcome that block". I guess I just don't like the word "block", it's intimidating, and that's really part of the reason why people get worked up over it so much. (My 2 mizas.)

Vanessa, yeah, all my playwriting teachers agreed that blocks happen. You just have to keep writing until they dissolve under the weight of your words. Accept that you're trying to master a craft, and it's 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration, so you have to write a lot of crap before you start turning out gems.

It's been over a decade of poop, but I'm keeping the faith that one day I'll write something good.
