[Flashback]Along came a snake...[Moon]

The bunch of drunks were clearly surprised by the events that had occurred. First one of there friends was killed by a single blow to the face, by a man they had thought to easily overpower. Then the girl they had thought was a pushover, pulled out a great blade and was holding it ready to attack them. This just confused them even more. Several lost their nerve right there, and ran from the spot. Still others thought to avenge their fallen friend, and converged on the pair. Two came at Bones, as they saw him as the bigger threat, and a third went for the girl, trying to take care of her and her audacity to not do as they said, and for threatening them. Any left over stayed were they were, to scared to move, but also seeing how things went, and if it went well, they might join the fray. But if it did not go well, they would turn tail and run like their other friends did before them. For now they just had the three to deal with. The men were not that well armed, one of the ones attacking Bones using a dagger, and in the case of the other one and the one after Delanie, a shortsword. But their courage was enhanced by the drinks they had earlier, and they did not seem to realize how stupid they were being. As one neared, Bones parried a blow with his gladius, and punched the man in the chest, knocking the air from his lungs. He bent over, and fell to the ground in a heap gasping for air. Luckily Bones had not struck him as hard as the other, and so he was not permanently harmed. The second one came at him soon after, though he seemed to be more skilled with his shortsword than his friend. Bones met blades with the second man, trying to fight him off. Hopefully the girl behind him was as successful with her foe, or Bones might be surprised by a foe from behind.

With a swift step to the side Delanie watched a man's fist pass her face by mere inches. She thought men were respectful to women, these men have obviously missed that lesson. Delanie reached out and landed a punch to the center of the mans neck. He was obviously taken of guard, she heard him suck air into his throat. She then leaped forward and sliced the tip of her sword across his thigh muscles. The man was fairly large, but she new most of that was from eating four to many meals a day. Delanie purposely didnt inflict her blade on him to severly, she just merely wanted to remind him she had it.

As the hiss excaped his nasty lips she knew he was now angry. She didnt care, she'd fight him till she couldnt possible fight anymore. Delanie heard the crack of her knuckles as she landed a blow to his nose. She nearly growled out loud, that is going to hurt later. She didnt stop for a second though, she couldnt make any mistakes. As the man stumbled back holding his hands over a gushing nose, she followed him. His nose was pouring out blood but she didnt feel bad. Delanie knew she could kill this man, not only was he drunk but he didnt have the advantage she did. Delanie kicked the mans right Knee with a powerful kick, blowing out his right knee. She lifted up her sword arm, ready for the blow, as she swung down she caught the man with the hilt of her sword across the left side of his face. He fell back to the gournd, the whites of his eyes showing.

Pleased that he wasnt attacking her anymore Delanie proceded to rip a strap off the bottom of her shirt, taking off a couple inches. She wrapped her knuckles tightly with the strand of her shirt and then turned to her partner. She hoped he was doing okay, she didnt know if she had any more fight in her.

Left with his one foe, Bones was able to concentrate on him. The man was using both hands, trying to use sheer force to bear down on Bones and cut into him. However Bones was only holding his gladius with one hand, and was still slowly pushing the blade closer to the man, easily overpowering him. As the other man began to turn red in the face from the strain of fighting Bones monstrous strength, Bones gave a bone chilling chuckle... Silly human, trying to out force him.... He never had a chance. Almost carelessly, Bones gave another thrust and a twist, sending the blade flying out of the thugs grip. With him now unarmed, Bones gave a good punch across his jaw, knocking him down, making him slide across the road to crash into a building, were he ended up unconscious. Bones looked up, and gave a stare into the eyes of the men who had remained. They flinched at his gaze, and turned and run as fast as they could, fearing for their lives, and running from this monstrous being. Now with no problem to worry about, Bones put away his gladius in the sheath on his back, and turned to the girl. Giving her his smile, which looked more like a grimace really, as he had never gotten that human expression right, he spoke in his slow sibilant speech. "Well, ssat wasss a good battle... Got my battle ssspirit going... I am Bonesss by the way... And you?"

Unfortunately, there was no time to exchange pleasantries... Already Bones could here many feet striking the ground as they approached the commotion. And it was never good to be found near a freshly killed body... Especially when you were the one who killed them... "I believe it isss time to go.... It wasss nice meeting you..." Now most would have been being sarcastic in saying that at that specific moment, but Bones was totally serious. A nice little fight, some blood, and some dinner, all a good first meeting in his opinion. Giving her a quick nod, Bones bent down and hefted up the dead body with blood on its face onto one shoulder, as if it was a sack of potatoes. Its weight also did not seem to bother him, and did not slow him down at all as he ran from the spot with the corpse. For him though, it was not even heavy. He was pretty sure the girl would leave soon after, not wanting to remain on the spot were there was a large pool of blood... And as for the body... Well first Bones would get to a safe place, and go into dhani form... And then he would do what snakes did with fresh meat... Suffice to say, all that would be left as evidence when he was done would be the bones of the man... Which were simple to get rid of... Though first he would check the body, who knows he might have something valuable on him, or at least a bit of coins.... Regardless, Bones would beat a hasty retreat, as he anticipated his fresh meal... -exit-
