Ethaefal: Under the Stars and Moon and Sun

Thats what I am saying, so maybe it is not so simple at all. It would also drive the point home for all Eth's that they cannot return to that realm again. It sounds like it could be difficult and heartbreaking at the same time. They would save many, but in doing so condemn themselves. It would also be interesting if the Eth's could give up their lives to repair the rift, if they so chose to.

That'd be interesting, if the Eths had to give up their lies to repair the rift.

Laz wouldn't, unless maybe his closest friends convinced him to.

I'm liking this plot. Satevis was a Benshira before he became Ethaefal, and a major part of his character is that he believes he fell to Mizahar because he hadn't yet achieved whatever purpose Yahal set out for him when he was told to leave his homeland in the first place. And since sacrifice is a big theme with the Benshira, he would be all over this.

Although I think it's probably best if they don't give up their lives? It makes it more meaningful for the Ethaefal, because if they give up their lives to seal the rift, then it's basically over. But if they don't give up their lives, they have to go on knowing that they managed to stop any more from falling through, but they're still here.

Also, what happens to Ethaefal when they die? Do Syna and Leth just claim them again?

Hello brothers and Sisters.

Taithrosa is back in play. Any one in Mura is up for a thread.

I think part of the problem is that Eth are fairly anti social and emotional so things like trying to fix the rift never occured to them. Taithrosa is a slightly happier Ethaefel believes in finding other things to keep you focused on. He wants to build a community of Eth. He believes that there is great potential if they gather together.

A community could eventually turn it attention to trying to seal up the rift.

That sometimes the thing about goals. IC goals some times are large, and were not even sure that we can actually do it, but I think new players could still say there character feel before the closure. They just wouldn't be any newborns as it were.

Hey, I just created my character, he's a son of syna.
If the ethaefal Reunion gets put back on the table i'd be up for it.

The only Ethaefal reunion I know of is Lhavit. Eths tend to bum each other out with their company. Laz prefers to hang with mortals, who remind him to appreciate life rather than of what he lost. He can't help but see his own suffering and strife in every Ethaefal he meets.

okay, that makes sense.
I was thinking of starting out in Lahavit, my character isn't much of a people person to begin with but a Ethaefal quest sounded pretty cool.
By the way I was the flying squirrel kelvic lady who asked about Ethaefal gender a while ago. As you can see the best I could do was make myself into an androgynous looking Ethaefal who transforms into a more masculine looking Akalak.

There isn't a quest, some of us players were just talking about what we'd do if there was one.
