If you were a vampire, how cliché would YOU be?

Admit it. Vampires are cool. No, I don't mean sparkly vampires or teenage bloodsuckers who can't stop fighting over how in love they are with some blonde girl (Buffy/Diaries/Trueblood). I mean COOL vampires, the ones Anne Rice wrote about before young adult fiction ruined them as a fantasy monster. Killers, creatures of the night, villains of myth.

I love vampires. I will freely confess to this. I won't let some silly book series or movie hype ruin them for me. They'll always be badass monsters to me.

So today I was wondering... What would Laszlo be like if he were a vampire? Not in the Miz world, of course. Probably just some alternate universe where there are vampires and magic. Or maybe modern day Earth?

I think Laz would be one of those SUPER terrible moody vampires, the kind who are always feeling sorry for/hating themselves. Laz would stalk the night, sleeping in people's cellars and attics during the day. He would not kill often, but I think he would live off human blood. I think he'd target mostly the elderly and homeless, which is pretty evil but come on. Vampire. Despite that I think he'd have a good heart, being kind to people if he has no intention of killing them, but keeping potential friends at arm's length. He would be a murderer though. I'm sure of that.

What kind of vampire would your character be? Would they kill innocent people or target known criminals? Would he do good, helping people, or be absolutely merciless? Would he be stoic? Sadistic? Would he try to live off of animals? Would he fight other vampires for territory or have a nomad's life? Would he have a shoddy apartment or a grand mansion, or nothing?

This is just for fun, so don't take it too seriously. I'd love to know how you'd envision your char as a vampire.

[Oluse]

Oluse would be that pathetic young vampire that doesn't have enough self control to not go on a killing rampage. And because he is a risk to the secret eventually an older vampire pwns him for being a threat. Tragic, horrific, fast. Lots of bloods and death.... man good thing he isnt a vampire.

[Sira]

If Sira was a vampire she would be one of those classy, high society types. She would prefer to feed only on the beautiful, live in a big mansion, have lots of sexy men and women serving her at all times, and flaunt her wealth and power like crazy. She would love being a vampire, reveling in the power it brings her, and probably succumb to a killing rampage every once in a while just for the hell of it. But after she was done she would clean up and act like nothing at all happened. She would have a secret love of dirty places, always living the high life as she does. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, she would sneak out to stalk the lowest portions of the city, party with the poor folk at the run down club in the back alley where all the good drugs are, and bring random men and women home for a little fun before breakfast. Sira would not be a nice vampire.

[Victor Lark]

Victor is the cool collected vampire that sits across the room and smiles seductively at people. He kills them gracefully-but-mercilessly and probably owns some sort of estate with a blood-fountain. Of course, the female protagonist can see straight through his pompous attitude and knows to hate him for the ass he really is. She'll probably try to tell him how she believes he still has some humanity left, right before she stakes him.

Edit: Vampire Sira and Vampire Victor should have violent vampire sex.

[Sira]

Alas, there will never be a vampire Sira. But if regular Victor wants to come to Wind Reach, I'm sure Sira would be more than happy to indulge him.

[Naama]

Naama would probably be a Claudia.

Collecting beautiful humans to screw with mentally and probably physically too, and go stalking after a blond-haired, statuesque Marius. Mmm....

She'd also kill without giving one single f*k. But would spiral into despair if she lost her BFF vampire friend.

Yeah, that about sums it up.

[Xalet]

Xalet would be a vigilante vampire, attempting to enforce laws and codes of honor that he makes up in order to feel like he still has some humanity left. He wouldn't fit in anywhere because the other monsters would hate him due to him hunting them, and people would hate him because that's their job. He'd have a big appetite and wouldn't be able to live off of animals, but he would feel bad about drinking folks when he did. At least once a day he would perform the classic vampire move of lifting a person up by their neck and throwing them.

[Satu]

Satu would be the kind of vampire that fell in love with humans... and each time she met someone who sparked her deadly interest, she would be convinced they were the ONE TRUE LOVE... But after she turned them and took their humanity away, the Konti would eventually find out after a stunning, but brief joyful time that they were not who she origianlly thought. And she would then release them coldly into the uncaring world. It would be both tragic and frequent... and her end would come from the multiple hands of her angry unholy offspring.

[Siiri]

Siiri would be the male version of Blade.

Vampire Xalet and Vampire Laszlo could so meet up and be friends, both being bad guys who want to give themselves delusions of being the good guys. Their friendship has a falling out, however, when Xalet continues to enforce beliefs onto Laszlo that he refuses to follow. Becoming more concerned with his own survival, Laszlo defaults on their alliance, betraying Xalet to his enemies so that Laz can cut ties and leave town.

This is something that he will pine about and lament for the rest of his undying life, because Vampire Laz needs reasons to feel sorry for himself.
