Talking to Eche never ceases to make my day. He just says the darnest things, I swear I'm going to make a quote book that stars him one day. This is him talking about a 5-month old baby...
Eche: that said, time for me to go walk the baby Cascade: please don't say you have to walk the baby. she is not a puppy. LMAO Eche: woof woof come on sophi lets take u for a walk
That awkward moment when PCs surprise their own writers...
I only started playing my Konti seriously this season, and I'm surprised by how much she surprises me. I play her as a cheerful and oblivious creature, but I never realized just how nutty she is when it comes to bubbliness until I did that thread with Pash.
During the course of the thread, even I was starting to get irritated by her optimism. It was just too much, but I couldn't figure out any other way to respond. Then the other day, Pash the PC told me that it could possibly be an effect of a traumatic past.
So... her bubbliness is possibly a defense mechanism? She has a psychological issue? After some thought, it fits. It's very rare that she responds with irritation or anger, even if she feels it. The only time I ever remember writing her as showing anger (even if her reaction was barely there), was when she thought Eri handled a situation badly. In contrast, Cael kissed her out of nowhere and almost choked her, and in the end she didn't even respond with anger.
I create a plain and cheerful Konti, and after a season of playing her, the truth comes to the surface. She's a bigger nut than I imagined.
