[Pash'nar's Scrapbook] I Make Things Look Pretty

Haha. I certainly don't blame anyone for their replies. I'm just weird and feel satisfied when I have all of my posts in a row on my sub list. I can look and go, "Aaah." with a smile. But, you know, it's still nice to have that neat row interrupted by nice replies instead. :P

Thanks for waiting, people. Had some friends in town this weekend by surprise. Website for a client due tomorrow. Blargh. Waiting to hear back from an interview last week is making me all twitchy ... eep.

Posting tomorrow afternoon, if all goes well, which ... it should.

Well, I have a job. It starts in two weeks in a city an hour and a half away. We will be moving by the end of the month.

I apologize for my lack of posts this week, as I have started preparing for the madness.

I could say a lot about what's been going on in our lives, but I will save you the time. I suppose the best I can sum up is accepting a full time postition after almost two years of working for myself and enjoying it is kinda taking one for the team, knowing ultimately there is more creative opportunity where we are moving. My job is full time temp with an eventual option to go permanent, so there's not much pressure but a bit of stability. A regular paycheck will feel like candy. Yum.

There is a longer tale underneath best left untold for now.

The weekend should bring more opportunities for me to wrap up another volley of replies.I appreciate your patience in this adventurous time I find myself in. :P

Thanks, dear. You know it's gonna take me forever to reply to Things Left Unsaid now that I have to actually come up with a name?! Or, I simply have to find a creative way to avoid it. Still.

We shall see.

Muahahahaha.

Also, I am excited about working again. Scared, too. I'm not closing up shop, though. Still open for occasional freelance projects outside of work, and hubs and I can't wait to live somewhere with the letterpress in our own home. It's almost fixed up and ready to run. Where we're moving to is a big wedding sort of place, so we're very excited to be able to start printing there. I'll still design invites and hubs can print in the evenings ... if he's not in a toddler-induced coma after dinner. :P

Sorry for all the late replies this week. We've been house/rental hunting this week. Tomorrow is more of the same, but when I get home, I should finally have some time to type.

Thanks for your patience. This month is just going to be crazy, in general.

[Pash'nar's Scrapbook] I Make Things Look Pretty

Well, looking for new places to live is positively exhausting. This time next week, I'll have worked my first day in Charlottesville. Weird. Hopefully, we'll be on the way to finding somewhere to call home by then.

While I'm up working on replies, have some eye candy.

Yeah, those are awesome.

Anyway, I haven't forgotten my replies. I've just been busy. And sick. So sick. Coughing + pregnancy = miserable. As if I didn't pee enough already. Blargh. Hubs gave me his terrible "you will feel like death once the sun goes down" illness. Some kind of doomy cold that I have to mostly pretend to ignore while working on one last website before my new job starts.

Fun times.

So, erm, yeah, posting tomorrow. I should already be in bed.

PS Note to self: Make a fun Pash-perspective guide to port cities thanks to Tock's inspiration. So hilariously necessary. Indeed.

Illness conquered. Tomorrow and Saturday, we're looking at places to live (again). Blargh. Then, I'll finally have some time to post. Wow! How exciting.
