this has been a confusing two day for me. I am new, please call me Abri because that is my character. My first writing language is English because my own language does not write but only talk at or speak. i have already been at the chat and it was very nice and help to me but i made Gossmer mad in the chat.

i know why because people on the chat was giver me help on my English but that is nto what chat is for it is for mizahar questions.

and that is fine with me because i have classes for my English at university. the chat is not for that.

my professor told me to find roleplayering website for practice creative writing. i like to write stories even if they are bad but i know i can get better. So i googled and i found this place. it is very nice and make interest on me.

i feel dumb though because i did not read admin email to me correct and i look at it again and saw Introductions so that is why i am here now

i am going to go work on my character information sheet now because i want to make fun with people right now.

have a good day
Abri
I've written this reminder on my student's behalf: His English needs improvement, but that isn't why he has come here. I've read the Rules, Terms of Use, and other things in the Starting Guide, and explained them to him. I also saw the "Creative Manifesto." Very impressive. I believe that it is here he will learn how to work with other writers and learn to make creative stories. I can see the egalitarian angle here, but please try to be gentle when prodding him back onto the right path. Thank you very much.

Welcome to Mizahar, Abri! Don't worry about the language barrier, as long as you work hard and keep at it you will get better. And Mizahar is an excellent place to exercise your creative muscles. I hope you enjoy it. Happy writing!

Hello there Abri! It is wonderful you have decided to join Mizahar! V is right, we aren't critics here about how well you can write English. I find it amazing how people can learn English. In my opinion, and I think most people's, English is the hardest language because of how many word-rules it breaks, like, for example, the letter "Y" can be a vowel, and sometimes it can't. I can see how this would confuse some people who's native language isn't English. It dazzles me how well you can write, keep at it!

Don't worry about it.

To be honest, a less than fluent grasp of English suits most character's skill in 'Common' speech anyway.

If you want, look through the 'CS Templates' thread in the 'Resources' index and find an area to start where 'Common' is a secondary language.

"Your fits in there will very right, I is thinks...ing."

Of course, I am not saying not to work on it, fluency will help the narrative. Besides, I don't want your teacher to "look me up"...lol

Hello, Abri! We spoke for a bit in chat, and like your character, Hadrian will be traveling from Nyka to Zeltiva. He will leave Nyka on the 80th of Spring, and I'm not sure of the exact date he'll arrive in Zeltiva because he might stop in Sahova and/or Sunberth along the way. But he will be in Zeltiva in the Summer!

Anyway, send me a PM if you have any questions about this or anything else. I have lived abroad, so I can empathize a bit with your frustrations with the language. I'll do what I can to help!

Take care!
