Eypharian culture and lower class Eypharians

Postby Adnaj on November 25th, 2012, 6:59 pm

I have been reading the lore page for the Eypharians. I see that they are described as racists and look down upon other races. I also noted that they are prone to enslaving races and individuals whom they look down upon. Would it be feasible to have an Eypharian living in an Eypharian city to become enslaved by fellow .

I have a concept for a character who has a fantasy variation of anterograde amnesia. So, although he is 28, he wakes up everyday believing that he is a 15 year old jewelcrafting apprentice. This makes him a bit of a crafting savant but almost inept at supporting himself or interacting socially on any real level.

I wonder if his pragmatic skill yet his status as, basically a vagrant, would leave him open to being captured for slavery even though he is, in fact, an Eypharian.

Hi Adnaj!

As your local desert mod, I think I can help. I have a link for you to a part of the wiki that is relevant to your question. On slavery in the city.

Additionally, this location has a little more info on the Ahnatep slave trade. But the overall answer to your questions, is yes, an Eypharian can be enslaved, but there has to be a legitimate trail of ownership.

On a different note, information on the jewelry trade can be found here. The workers are free-men or sprisen, as most would not trust a resentful slave around items of such obvious worth.

I hope all that helps!
