Hey everybody!

I just wanted to let you all know I'm back and fighting fit so I will be tackling responses and grades soon.

Also, there has been a development in the city. Please read this post to get the scoop! Moderated thread opportunities will be coming in the next few days. I will update here when they are available for sign ups. Hi! I'm rather new and have a stupid question. How do you get nice formats like that for posts? I have a signature, but I can't find how to get a nice format, like you can for character sheets. Thanks!

Yup, like Miria said you can always request one in the Aesthetics subforum. There are lots of great artists on Mizahar who are kind enough to offer their skills to other PCs. You can also check out the BBC Guide if you want to learn how to make those pretty templates.

Hey everyone!

You may have noticed that Avanthal has a subforum now called Inside the Icehouse. This subforum is meant for development, both for the city and for your character! The old Avanthal Community Development thread has been reposted in this subforum and the previous thread locked. There are going to be lots of different resources and ideas popping up there over the next couple weeks so stay tuned and I definitely encourage you to get involved in the development of the city!

Hello again everyone!

I have posted two moderated thread opportunities in the Moderation and Grading Request thread. The moderated thread opportunities are in the middle section of the post. There are two threads available and two slots for each thread. Please post in that thread if you are interested in signing up for one of the moderated threads. The sign up will close one week from today, so February 19, or until all four slots have been filled.

I only allowed two slots per thread so that the threads are able to move in a quickish pace and to decrease the likelihood of threads getting abandoned. If the slots fill too quickly and you happen to get left out but are really interested in participating in city events, please PM me and we can work something out.

The Linkmap has undergone a little reorganization, I encourage you to check it out and get familiar with where things are now. I hope this reorganization helps make it clear which locations are in the main part of the city and which locations are clustered around Holds.

If you aren't sure what I am talking about, I encourage you to peruse the Player's Guide, particularly the part labeled Appearance/Layout of Avanthal. If you have any questions concerning this or any other information in the Avanthal forums, please post here or PM me! I am always happy to answer questions or clarify anything that has unclear explanations.

Alright, it's been over a year... So I thought I'd say hi! (It's been crazy but I'm back, and hope to not just vanish.)

And seems there's been quite a few changes, so I'm going to try and get caught up on everything, so please have some patience as I try to catch up! But I plan to start writing again!!
