[OOC Thread] Welcome To The Jungle

The season change has come my lovelies!

It is Summer, and with summer comes a new seasonal calendar with all sorts of roleplaying goodies for you and your friends!

If anyone needs Job threads recorded and paid for, submit them in the Jungle Wilds Moderation and Grading thread, and if anyone is looking for a job the Taloban military is offering high incentives this Summer for all those able due to the high rate of Dhani sightings and ambushes taking place in the wilds.

If you are looking for a job and the military just aint your style, that's fine too! Either way let Limey or I know and we can set you up with a quick and somewhat painless job thread to get you started in your new career!

Remember to update your ledgers with seasonal expenses!

I'm kinda new here. I've only done about 3 posts. 1 being my character sheet and the other my introduction to this city. I haven't done anything inside the city whatsoever, I hope I don't piss anyone off

I am excited to see all of the new faces, we have a couple new Kelvic, some Myrian twins, its all making for quite the motley crew here!

Sekka, Nightly, if you are looking for jobs in Taloba let me know and we can set up a job thread for you guys, Garta, Eztli, thanks for being patient with me! I am currently searching for some ASes to help out in Falyndar, but until that time I am operating in Zinrah, Mura, and Taloba, so if I delay on posting for a couple days that's why!

I'm excited to see what you guys do in and around the City, and if you have any questions just holler!

Hello all you savage people,

This here is Quzon. Most noticeably that pale looking Myrian/isur half breed that will be trudging about. I plan on mainly focusing my time on flashback threads until his combat skills are appropriate enough for me to play him in a current time (Would assume at least competent in one weapon and brawling).

So if you want a flashback just let me know and we can set something up.

Just a small question Traverse before I set my new PC's age.

I heard something about a mandatory 3-years in the army?

When is that? Is there a specific age for it to start? (18yo for example)

I'll write about the army experience and training in flashbacks, but I want to have my PC start out as a philterer, with philtering being the main occupant of her time.

P.S. Remember the Symyrian I told you about?

P.P.S. Since my mother is not a Myrian, do I still use her last name as mine or should I take the father's since he's the Myrian link?

Hey Liyana!

The three years is slightly less mandatory for half breeds, though generally it would be even more necessary for half breeds to go through it to gain acceptance from their fellow full bloods. I like to think the age differs from clan to clan, but anywhere from 18-25 can suffice, since Myrians live longer than the average human a little later isn't really a problem. A lot of PCs set up the three years in their history so they don't have to worry about it IC, but since there's a sorta plot running of the Taloban Military putting incentives forth for new soldiers, you'd probably get better than average pay.

Also about the last name, I feel that would be entirely up to you and how your PC formed over the years.
