It was expected of the girl to be severely injured, not maned or injured to were she couldn't fight, but hurt enough to where she wouldn't want to fight. Hurt enough to where she would nicely admit defeat or even a draw if she was proud, but in this situation, this seemed not to be the case. It seemed as if many things weren't going as if he expected in this fight, gosh for a spar against a woman, he thought it would be easier. No he wasn't a sexist like K but he did think that women were a bit weaker than men. Naturally of course, but there was always the certain few women who could prove that wrong. Like his mother...

As he called Fallon's name it seemed as if she didn't care, she probably thought it was him trying to excuse himself or something, this made him laugh on the inside. As she charged him with her full force, he was already tired, with his defense lowered he refused to throw a final punch. Even if he wanted to, it was to late, for she was already to close. He could feel that some punches were off, this was really a game changer, and the thought of this just added to the downhill momentum of the reality of this fight. As she tackled him, he could feel it. It being all of the energy she carried with her, and boy was it strong. It had semi-winded him, his body rid of air, he quickly tried to get a grip. But he was even more in pain, when her sword made contact. The main point of contact being his shoulder blade, his left shoulder blade.

Also, it took him a while to notice, but her tackle also had a grip. It was her hand, her right hand used to grip his neck, this plus her velocity was more than enough to bring the young boy to the ground. His gaunlets slamming on the floor, even louder than his body, his head rattling with pain. He couldn't decide which was worse, the pain of her sword, the pain of her grip or the pain of his head hitting the floor. Grunting out a bit when she first grabbed him, it seemed as if nothing, but now that the pain had washed into him.... It was clear.

"Game..." He mumbled. "Game, you won fair and square." He slowly worked his way up, the pain throbbing, he felt as if she was stronger than she looked. "Fallon... You got my shoulder. If this was a real fight... I would have been unable to continue." He said as he performed a few windmills with his arm. "Thus declaring you winner of this little duel." He gave her a smile, showing a lot of teeth as he chuckled carefreely. "Fallon you are better than I thought." He said feeling the pain throb. "That sword thing you got there... You seem a bit experienced with it. However, those slashes with an intent to do damage. Did your patron teach you that?" He didn't want to pry but he was a bit interested.

"Of course anyone can grab a sword and flail it around, maybe a couple slashes here and there... Bu what I'm asking you is." He let loose a deep sigh, looking at her with a face of wonder. "Where did you learn such attacks and dodges?" Smiling at the young squire once more, he expected a grand story of awesomeness. "So did your patron teach you? Or did your parents teach you? Were they fighters? I'm sorry if I'm prying it's just... I'm pretty interested." Hopefully this wasn't to much, but talking to a friend was way more interesting than punching her.

So with that being said.

oocHello Fall :) Ok with all that you said I want to start off first of all saying thank you. Thanks for explaining all of that in a clear fashion and tone. Now please allow me to explain. (I will keep it short for your's and the reader's convenience.)
Yes I did throw a lot of punches please excuse me, I only do this because from past experiences everytime I try to keep it short with about 2-3 punches, people always turn around and say that I'm slowing down the fight. Now, if I has noticed something about you personally is that your one of the fairest combat fighters I have ever fought. You take A LOT of hits, and I really love that. So for now on I will try to keep it simple with you, lots of details but about 4 punches max. Now, with that being said, in conclusion. Thank you and I apologize for what I did. I recognize it now and I hope I didn't do it again with this post. If so work with me, keep explaining and helping, it is appreciated.  Thankyou. Hopefully, you can keep the help coming, cuz I need it. :) Kudous Bro!

Fallon slammed against him, her strike came through. It may of been the work of a novice, a blow down to to luck, but it had struck. She followed after him to the floor, a crunch of flesh, metal and wood ringing out. The pair laid there stunned, Kisetukai upon his back, Fallon lying haphazardly beside him, her forehead against the floor. The tulwar had skidded away out of her grip and rested several feet away. The final hit may have seemed skilled and calculated, full of the bigot of someone who seemed to know what she was doing- but her body only managed to achieve such by pulling and pushing herself too hard. She gave a laboured breath, feeling the sweat that clung to her. Her head spun, her body ached and her meeting the ground confirmed that.

She shook, her screaming head cutting off the other senses, his words being reduced to an echo behind the static in her ears. She closed her eyes to prevent the world from spinning in her vision. The girl squire eased herself onto her back, but remained on the floor with the world blocked out. She gave a mumble, her delirious mind barely picking up his words here and there, whilst stringing together a sentence.
How did I dodge? Where did I learn?

She winced as she cleared her throat, “I dodged… I dodged by counting. You have a pause between hits. Recoil time,” Fallon gave a gasp, feeling the pain hovering in her chest tighten as she breathed “The brief fraction of time allows movement to evade… and when that’s your only focus, to get out of the way, to evade and to analyse then it becomes easier to dodge,” she gave a smirk “I only hit you once, and that was just then. You kept me from pushing back after all, I had to wait for an opening.”

Her eyes cracked open and stated at him, noting the curiosity and wonder that sat there. She propped herself up on her elbows, teeth clenching as she did “I learned to fight with a Kukri a blade smaller than a Tulwar. The intent comes from being in the wilds a lot and travelling. In the wilds every move counts, every strike is vital. It is kill or be killed. There is no room for error,” she frowned lightly “I learned that one the hard way a few years ago.”
For a moment she was silent, a brief moment of contemplation on her face as she remembered the past before slowly she continued “I put what I learned with the kukri and the method in which is used into practice with the tulwar. There are a few similarities after all. Of course… length is an issue. It’s why you kept having an opening in which to strike.”

She closed her eyes again, the world too bright currently for them “My mentor taught me the base of my fighting, others who had time in my youth showed me a few things too. My parents however did not have time to teach me anything.” It was a truth, to a degree. She did not know her blood, she had either been abandoned before she could remember them, or they were dead. Either way, they had no influence in her upbringing and what she learned. Her head rolled back, facing up to the sky.
Damn, everything petching hurts. Really shouldn't jump about like that too much.

Kise listened intently as the girl spewed out her words, her pain constantly disrupting the beauty of her information. He especially loved the part about him, not out of narcissism but mainly because it gave him a side goal to work with. His punches, being able to count them... That was no good. One thing a boxer hated to do was be to repetitive and easy to read. Looking at her as if she was a teacher, he nodded his head, hoping to show her his understanding.

Then she moved on to her blade skill, which was also another important topic he wondered. How did she become so elegant with it, yes she was still novice but she definitely seemed like she had fought with a real blade before. This was something he really liked and was instantly attracted to. Kukri, he had heard of the blade before, a Lombards dagger with a nice handle. Deadly in the hands of a master user or an expert... Could she have been an expert?

Nonetheless it all made sense, to see her move like that with the sword. Perhaps being used to a small weapon, she was able to dodge more, and get close with a stab of some sort. Of course if she would have had that weapon of choice... He might not have had such a long fight. But either way, he still loss, and a loss was still a loss. He couldn't help but smile a bit, as she talked about mentors and people giving her a few lessons. It was a nice thing when people came together to help others, if one person knew this, it was Kisetukai. As she finished though, she looked to be in pain, if not shown by her voice and pauses during dialogue.

Kise quickly stepped forward, kneeling down on her right side, near her chest. "Fallon... Are you ok?" He said in a semi- worried voice. "I'm stupid, I was so stupid to hit you with my damn gaunlets!" He grunted as he punched the ground. Sliding them off he turned back to face her, putting on a smile for her sake. "I know I'm probably over reacting, but... I don't like hurting people." He let out a nervous chuckle, looking at the girl's hair, for some reason Kise was always a fan of hair. Not some perversion, it's just that he thought a girl's hair was an extension of her. Kinda like a public ID tag or something. "So Fall, how can I help?" Hopefully they could still be friends, after all she was his first in a long time... Or was she just the first in general.

Either way, he was determined not to lose a friend.

“Oh shut up,” she tapped him firmly with the back of her hand “I’m not dying, and I don’t plan to any time soon.” She gave a chuckle, before forcing herself to stop, her eyes looked upon him and a brow rose “Never the less, hindsight is a wonderful thing. Teaches us the hard way about what is done is done, and the past cannot be changed.”
Her eyes turned to the clear blue skies above her, catching the flecks of clouds in the sky between narrowed lids. She gave a smile to herself as she heard the worried tone within his voice “Kisetukai I am fine. I’ve been through worse.”
She gave a grunt as she pushed herself up further, a painful scowl upon her face. She gave a grunt, and held onto her side through instinct. She heard the shout, the rage of his own disappointment and self proclaimed failure. She stretched the same hand out that had given him a gentle tap and patted him on the head “You should really stop worrying so much. If you worry about hurting people then you’ll be bad at dealing with the bad guys, right?”

The squire looked about herself, her head turning to the Tulwar that still remained out of reach. She gave a heavy sigh as her throbbing head continued to spin. Moving quickly and any time soon would be a troublesome process, but she knew she would have to think about it soon. She tugged at the buckles of the padded jacket, fingers slowly working at loosening them and getting it off, by having it off she could at least breathe easier and without the extra weight constricting her. She continued to fumble for a bit with one hand, the other arm being used to hold herself up right. It loosed after a while, and she slipped it off so she simply sat up in her shirt instead, with the jacket left behind her. Fallon turned her head to Kisetukai once more “Seriously, I’m fine. Just need some time.”

She needed a bit more than simple time and a breather. She needed to lie back down and gather her wits, she needed to get in front of a mirror to tend to her head. She wanted to rest and sleep after that moment of combat, and let herself recover for the next few days or so. Of course, it meant she would still have to move eventually.

[Training Grounds] This Is How The Knights Do It {Fallon}

Kise watched as Fallon lied to him, right in front of his face, she just sat there and lied. Was it to spare his feelings? Was it because she was a kind soul? Whatever her reason for being so nice, regardless of it's true purpose, she was a nice person at heart. She was a really nice girl, her words being kind and in his favor, he couldn't lie... Because of what she had said, he had felt a bit better. But her sluggish movements continually brought his spirit back down, his pain was dull and shooting yes, but compared to the pain he imagined her to have... It was nothing.

"Fallon..." He mumbled as he stood up, slowly walking over to her wooden sword, and grasping it tightly. He could feel the lightness of the weapon, very agile and swift, it was pretty nice to get a look at what his you now and then. Jumping back over to Fallon, he looked at her, something had changed. Looking past her to see that her protection was sitting behind her, she was in a mere shirt now, a mere... Shirt. Another circumstance where the old Kise would have shied away from such a sight, but the new Kise didn't even think about that, her safety was the most important.

He stood up straighter, seeing her in pain, trying to hide it. It was a form of valor to him, most likely something he would love. He himself instantly thought that she would make a good leader, being able to hide her true pain and emotions, this was something he was sure sure he loved now.  "Fallon..." He mumbled once more, barely bringing himself to speak. "I just can't... I can't." He let go of a deep sigh, not being able to hand her that wooden tulwar, it meant much more to him. "Fallon I... I... Fallon please allow me to take you home." He said out blankly, forcing the words out of his mouth.

"Let me carry you, on my back, I'm more than capable of lifting a small woman as yourself. And being the one that hurt you it is my duty, I'm obligated as a fellow squire... And a friend, to do so." Giving her a serious face, hard to maintain, but nonetheless serious. "I will not take no, for an answer so holdup while I pack your things." He said softly yet firmly, this was his chance to be a man, to be... The real Kise, for once.

Running over to his horse, he quickly placed the gaunlets in a side bag, petting the horse and making small sounds to ease it. "Speed... I'm gonna need you to carry some stuff, and today... Go slow." He smiled at the thought of telling his horse to move slow, when K was always demanding speed... From Speed. Running back to Fallon, he knelt down once more, speaking softly as he looked at her face. "Fallon... I'm gonna go put up these weapons. Then I'll be right back ok? Don't move." He said, turning with a dumfounded face on at his choice of words.

Did she have a choice?

Running off into the distance, he returned after about two and a half chimes, huffing and puffing a bit from the immediate exercise. Walking a bit past Fallon, he picked up her battle vest, running back to his horse and placing it on the saddle. Turning with a small smile, he finally came back to Fallon, kneeling down in front of her. Facing the same direction of her, his back arced a bit, the back of his hands on his shoulders with his gloved palms facing up. "Ok Fallon, mount upon your will.... I would have rode you home by horse, but in your case this will be more gentle." He faced forward, ready to spring up slowly and gently carry the girl.

If she accepted, he would pick her up slowly yet effortlessly, being gentle. His steps would be light, as if boxing, yet firm and progressing. He would carry her without talking, occasionally smiling but then reverting to a serious look. The horse would walk on sides of them as he slowly walked her back, his fingers under her knees, and his thumb atop her knees. Holding her legs at waist level, he would walk slow and carefully to avoid any sudden bounces or jumps, then possibly lean his head so she can rest her's on either shoulder.

He would do this however, until they made it to her dorm, and even then once they made it to the dormitories he would ask for her suite and carry her up to it. Then once at the door, he would open it and lay her on the bed and attempt to leave. But not before asking is she alright, and if he could get her anything, and saying that he was sorry one finally time in that order. But this caused small thoughts in his head.

What if she didn't accept? What if she was mad? Would there be people in her dorm room?

The only person who could decide all this... Was Fallon. Would she accept, or leave and try to mask her pain?

Fallon scratched at her trousers, and looking at the dirt that covered them. It was no surprise really after all the rolling on the floor she had done. She watched the boy stutter and stir, worry and guilt filling his features. She heard the mumble of words, the want to be of help and assistance to her in her state. She gave a light snort, her fingers rubbing at her neck as he continued to stumble with his words. Her lip curled in a sense of amusement as he flustered about, gathering her things and packing them to the horse or at least until his offer came. The curled lips disappeared in a flash after that.

If there was anything Fallon hated the most in the world it was being picked up. Of course, Kisetukai would not have known this small factor, mainly because it was one that Fallon never openly shared with people and so her secret of it was guarded.
“Ki… Kisetukai,” she felt herself going pale “Don’t. You. Dare. Pick. Me. The. Petch. Up. Understand?”
It was clear by her tone that she did not tolerate the idea, even if it was one made with care and consideration. Her eyes narrowed down into a glare. It was far from intentional, but it was a reaction the girl could not help but make “I really don’t like being picked up. And those who pick me up generally end up with a swift kick.”

A warning in its finest form, and one that Fallon would not budge from. There was no room for debate on the matter, and her raised hand between them suggested that. Her mind was already set, “Walking be back is one thing, helping me get to the dorms is another. But picking me up? No. No, and always no.”
It was far from pride that caused her react like this, an irrational fear that she could not overcome was the main source of it. She placed a hand upon his back a gentle push away whilst she brought her legs up beneath her. In order to stand would be a difficult task, but it was one she was not going to back down from just yet.

She gave a wince, followed by a grunt and a groan as her muscles strained. She eased herself up onto her feet, placing them firmly on the ground. Her hands came out to balance herself a gentle trace of fingers upon his back as she steadied herself. The squire gave a nod to Kisetukai, a sort of confirmation that she was able to walk.
“Come on, stop worrying so much and walk me back,” she looked on ahead this time and facing towards the direction of the dormitories. She sensed a quiet afternoon not doing a lot would be a lot better than racing about and pushing herself. A hand went onto her hip, the other rubbing at her jaw as she looked. She needed to learn to carry her own weight, and to make sure she could go on when beaten “You gonna sit the gawking or what?”

“You gonna sit the gawking or what?”

K had been watching the woman speak words with a vicious demonic force chucking them at him with the speed of a hurricane. The words stung, to be blunt. Why was picking her up such a bad thing? Why was carrying her, which needed to be done... So bad? He shrugged at the thought, mumbling a bit with a small smile as he made a muttering joke to himself. "I guess all girls don't like to be carried..." Quick sigh as he thought as he thought about Fallon's temper. "Go figure?"

After his small chuckles had ended he noticed her standing up, it was... Pathetic. She was an off sword fighter, but at least she had a bit of grace. Now she looked like a grandma trying to cross the street, angry and obviously in distress, he looked down at his fist once more. Then back up at Fallon. She was right. If he couldn't hit a friend in practice then on the battlefield how would he feel? How would he react to actually... Killing a man? This thought caused him to gulp, as he began walking.

He made sure his pace was slow for the elderly Fallon, after all, she had no choice. It seemed as if her body now was one speed, an indescribable speed. Holding her hip and rubbing her face like an old woman, this would make for a lot of jokes, but not now... Now he had to make sure she was safe and ok. She definitely had more pain than him, with his main pain being in his shoulder, and that dull one in his head now faded. It was going to be a long walk at this pace, long and awkward, and Kise couldn't dare let that just go.

"Fallon, you have told me it's ok many times, so I will no longer say sorry. But instead I will say, thank you. I am starting to understand more about fighting, it's necessary and I guess I still got a few things to learn. Even though it was just sparring, it felt too real for a while, and seeing you like this hurt." Letting go a sharp, quick, and flat sigh, he continued looking forward. "You mentioned places other than Syliras in your story... Could you elaborate? You are not from here I see, or maybe you are and just travel a lot. Please I don't mean to pry, but I think it would make good conversation... I've been in this town all my life, I wonder sometimes ya know?" He ended trying to keep on a serious face, after all... He still wanted to say sorry a million times.

Fallon gave a slow and awkward stretch, a brief wince forming on her face as she picked up her speed a little. She eased out her joints, before tucking her hands into her pockets when she was done. Gentle walking eased her out a little, and with that gentle walking did her speed pick up once more as she dawdled in the direction of the dormitories. Going at a slower speed did help in taking in the sights however; it allowed her to notice small details that she had possibly missed before. Different routes, different hallways, the crackle of torches and how they lit the inside of the Syliras. She gave a rub at her side once more, before sending herself on her way.
“Dang, you know how to punch,” she glanced at him before shaking his head “Maybe you should use punch daggers instead. Just my thoughts though.”

She heard his question, and turned her eyes once more to him eyebrow raised as her lip curled “Elaborate? Elaborate! I could, but it will take a long time to explain all the details.” There was a wicked grin upon her lips, a slight devilish nature rising out from within as in her true forte emerged “From the frosty lands of Avanthal to the University of Zeltiva I have travelled. I have seen the giant tress of the spires, and the Island city of Mura. I have passed through Syliras however on four occasions now, with this current visit being the fifth, and to a degree it is home to me. Or as close as I will ever get,” she gave a shrug and turned on her heel to face him “Where I come from after all is a mystery that even I cannot answer. But yes, I’ve travelled a lot. Perhaps one time I will share in greater detail the details over a cool drink and a summer evening and the more adventurous tales.”

The squire gave a wink, and returned in the direction of the dormitories, aching shoulders rolling back as she picked up speed from her previous and near standstill rate. She gave a flick of the hand “Of course, I could tell you about a friend of mine. Like you he preferred using his fists over using his weapons, he could pack a punch and helped me out a few times when I needed it. Also got me out of enough situations whilst he was about too, and most importantly… well… he helped me think about achieving my dream once more,” she gave a heavy, almost over dramatic sigh “That my dear is in the past. And that is where it shall remain.”

Spires? Zeltiva? Avanthal?

It's understandable that this was on the borderline of faint yet understandable at the same time, with the names ringing bells but the bells themselves being shrouded in the mist of confusion. Now... This is not something one would expect, her to be a traveler of epic proportions. Traveling to places he knew not existed, and the way she announced them added to the overall grandness of the words. Kise was trapped and ensnared, for he was a boy who enjoyed stories of travel, fighting, and overall battles. He could put his finger on it but something in him loved the thought of strategizing, like something deep down inside.

He sighed a bit as Fallon said that it would remain in the pass, but he definitely noted the drinks part, of course with him not drinking... That was going to be odd or awkward. But that was future Kise's problem, not him. Staring at the girl, he blushed a bit, finally turning away and looking at the sky, occasionally glancing down for safety. "Yeah... I do hit hard I guess. You know, when I was younger I was one of the weakest boys in the area. I was frail and shy, a total disappointment, and personally I wasn't worthy to be a knights child. But my mom still loved me for some reason, I can't understand, perhaps motherly love. Either way, till this day, I know I owe my muscles and everything else to her. But I lost my mom a while back... Due to traveling. So, I guess that's a story to talk about over a couple drinks also. Well... If your interested." He said ending with a small chuckle. "I'm not one to depress people."

He continued to walk, finally recognizing the sudden approach of the area. The dorms were nearing and she still hadn't told him, of course he would have to find out sooner or later. "Fallon... We are approaching the dorms. Where did you say you stayed again?" He said looking around. "I wonder could you possibly be staying in one of the older ones... Eh I guess we will see. You lead the way my dear, I am right behind you." He would follow her silently, his arms folded, leaving his horse outside of course.

A quick in and out right?

Fallon gave a shrug “Parents are there to love you, no matter if you’re a weakling or a muscle brute. Just their nature I guess.” Quick steps lead them towards the back of the dormitories, and down the cool halls towards her suite “I mean, even if you bugger up they’re gonna love you. The pair of you are blood related after all. Or at least you haven’t said otherwise. Be kind of strange too if you both lived together most of the time and didn’t become attached to one and other. Either way, look at you now. Bet you could give the lot of them a run for their money,” the squire gave a shrug. She did not know the full situation so her opinion she presumed was largely invalid. She listened to him talking, ears pricking to his voice and his questions.

“Yeah, I live with a bunch of older squires. But with the way they act sometimes though… well I do wonder. Either way, I’m the only girl there at present, so keeping them in line is fun. Especially Orion,” she gave a chuckle to herself as she stopped outside one of the suite doors with a hand fumbling for the key in her pocket. She slid it into the lock, turning it slowly, before turning her head to Kisetukai “Do you like dogs?”

Not that he would have received much time to answer. There was the yapping of Orvin from the other side of the door, along with the scrabbling of paws on the floor. The white head of the wolf cub poked out between the gap and stared up at Fallon, eyes wide and tail beating in a constant rhythm. She gave a quick awkward smile before pushing the door open properly and having the creature dart out and race around her.
“Kisetukai, meet Orvin,” she gave a shrug before stooping down to the level of the pup and clicking her fingers. His head turned, ears pricking upwards to attention. The paws pressed against her shoulder, the snout giving a nuzzle before finally he pulled away and looked up at Kisetukai in an almost judging manner. She gave him a quick pat before easing herself up once more “Right… well uh… thanks for walking be back. I’ll be alright from here.”

Fallon is a Master of Intimidation, "At this level, a Master intimidator often unconsciously intimidates their target unless the intimidator monitors their stance, tone, and actions to prevent this. Master intimidators will nearly always have a reputation that precedes them unless they have taken special care to prevent it."
