Flashback [Priskil's Pond] The Raven at the Pond (Raven)

On route to Syliras with a small caravan, Matthew takes a quick sightseeing detour.

While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

The muscle of his chest flexed lightly, just enough to meet her own as she stood up, giving them both the briefest moment of any actual touch beyond their held hands. At her snarky words, he slowly rose an eyebrow, mind churning once again. She didn't step away from him though, and her body was still quite close, he soft breaths brushing against his cheeks. He contemplated how to handle it, knowing she was expecting a response, and knowing there was probably a specific one she was expecting. Blue eyes searched hers, wondering what move to make. Even if she didn't know it, she had put a stop to his momentum, and left him on the defensive. How to keep up the sparks in the air without letting them die out completely? Again he chewed his lower lip, refusing to glance away.

"I wouldn't like that at all." He answered firmly, letting the fire burn to his gaze again. He stepped forward, lithe and tall body pressing against her own, muscle molding to her curves as if it had specifically been defined to cup her body to them. He simply stood there though, not making any further moves, keeping up the teasing. Somewhere he sensed that she was trying to hold on to her restraint, and somewhere he sensed that she might like the feeling. She had seem surprised by him once or twice during this whole show, which led him to think that maybe she wasn't used to someone like him. Perhaps she wasn't ever confidently approached with poise or skill, her beauty enough to intimidate most. Or perhaps she simply attracted the wrong sort of folks. There were a lot out there like that, and he had seen them first hand in Zeltiva. Even a few of the pleasure-givers were shady enough to make him wonder how they ever got any sort of business. Perhaps that is just how it was though.

"Why else would I be hinting at trying so very hard to ease them open?" He allowed her imagination to roam, letting his own flit along as well. His gaze dipped, taking in her red lips, nibbling his lower one in a sudden show of craving. Once again, his ever-so-expressive eyes began to change. They began to darken and hunger, a signal of what thoughts were possibly running through his head. They were in an abandoned opening with a crystal clear pond, after all.

His body lightly shivered, flexing against her own again, close enough and tight enough to be able to remind her of each line of definition through her tight outfit. His body had changed from cool and wet to slightly warm, and the hot sun was already starting to form sweat. He had just taken an un-wanted bath, and was practically about to need one again.

Their new proximity was almost too much to handle, almost, but through shear willpower and stubbornness Raven managed to restrain herself, only barely.

She could feel his muscles flexing through her tight clothing, every time they did, they sent a spark through her body. Their locked gazes, their breaths. To Raven, the outside world was all but forgotten and there was only herself, Matthew and Priskil's Pond which surrounded them.

"I wouldn't like that at all."

A smile spread across Raven's face as the sound of his words, she had something he wanted, she had an advantage. Her amber eyes searched his for any signs of whether he would succumb to her feminine wile but she could not decipher. "Oh wouldn't you now?" she responded smugly.

"Why else would I be hinting at trying so very hard to
ease them open?"

Raven had to bite her lip to restrain herself this time, the innuendo in his words practically ringing through her head along with several raunchy scenarios. She was at the end of her rope and he had one, the only thing that kept her from leaping onto him was her the sour taste of defeat, but she had one last card to play.

"You're very good at this game..." she admitted smugly. Then she extended her body, standing on her toes so that her lips could reach his ears as she whispered. "...but it's too late, I'm afraid you've missed your chance."

With those last words she pulled away, turned and began to walk in the direction that she had come from. After she had taken a few steps she turned around, and spoke once more. "Pitty...Imagine all the fun we could have had...here...alone...together."
she said teasingly, her lips in a mischievous smirk as she turned around and began walking toward the edge of the clearing. She knew she had been beaten, but she was incapable of admitting it, even to herself. Her final move would end the game, either way.

If she hadn't left at that exact time and not a moment later, had Matthew made a single move, she would have caved and completely given in to her desires.

She turned, and even if she wasn't looking at him, he continued to play the game. If she glanced back to his blue eyes, she would find them locked upon the curve of her hips and rear as they slowly swayed away. He seemed to be entranced with her body, but perhaps that was all part of the seduction as well?

He let her nearly vanish before stepping back to his shirt on the ground. "Until next time, Raven. And to many more chances." His voice was breathy, as if confident they would run into her again. He had planted a thought in her mind, a craving, and he hoped she would be hungry for more. Not even glancing back to see if she had fully disappeared into the trees, he hooked his trousers, shimmying out of the wet fabric. His bare bronzed body was revealed, both adding to the seduction (if she was still there) and serving a practical purpose (if she wasn't). He stepped his skin into the waters of the pond, sighing with pleasure as the cool liquid coated his already-hot skin. The waters chilled him, and he soaked in them for just a moment longer before retreating back to the shore. He was briefly tempted to try and swim, but he wasn't very good at swimming. He was well aware he might end up yelling for help, and that wouldn't help with the whole seduction thing at all.

He was pleased with his performance, and impressed by hers as well. Even if she felt she had lost, he felt she had stood toe to toe. Would all of his customers put up such a fight to his wiles? If so, he was going to have to hone his skills even more.

Musing this over, he gathered his clothes, dressing his damp body and heading off to the caravan. He had watched the direction she had went in, and it didn't seem to be that much further along than theirs. That gave him and idea, a way to continue the game. It would make for such good practice.

Notes

*Raven, the centre alignment makes it hard to read at times.
*This was a really nice thread to read, and I wish that it went on for longer; the descriptions from both sides were really good but I would have loved to see more interaction; feels like it was cut short..
