Wishes and Dreams
Summer 28 513 AV, 14th Bell
Location: Kova's Wishing Well
Artur walked about the streets of Syliras still lost as a puppy, so far he has learned only a little about the place and more so about some of the people that reside here instead. "Is it bad that I actually miss Alvadas a bit? Though confusing at least the place made sense... when it made no sense anyway." It was odd how the city of illusions worked, but what Artur learned there certainly helped him out better than herw. For instance he learned a lot about food, and here he's only struggled to learn just how the city thrives. People were drink addicts because they loved this thing called "alcohol" apparently, and if it wasn't alcohol it was another thing Artur didn't understand very well. Sex. Why the petch was nearly every human so obsessed with sex? Seriously; it was enough to drive him insane. It just baffled his mind at how this city worked, and what's worse is the fact he spent more time being lost and discovering places, instead doing the one thing he loved the most. Cooking!
Alas he yearned to cook good food, he also yearned to learn what kind of food Syliras had within it's walls. He just wanted to learn everything he could acrually, because the more time he spent here the less it made sense to him. On top of that his adventuristic approach had began to feel a bit... lonely. Everything he did he just felt he was completely and miserably alone while doing it, he almost felt like he had been missing something all along. A real purpose compared to cooking all things good, something he couldn't place a finger on quite yet but knew involved the significance of another. Thus he wandered the streets without end looking for this something, or rather someone, until he would finally tire of searching. What he didn't expect to come across was the well that sat in the midst of the street.
His curiosity got the best of him as he approached the well, flowers hung over for some sort of decoration while down below the splashes of water echoed. When Artur looked down with fascination he saw coins, many coins that glittered in the the light that reached the bottom shone up to the bear. While he hadn't a clue what this well was for other then ththe assumption of holding water, he hadn't the slightest idea why a person would throw away all their coin in a well when they could put it to better use. Like buying food or something. It made little sense to him as well as everything else, and so the bear shook his head and stared at the water below. Unaware of any people that may approach him.
