Well -that- escalated quickly
But just as fast, well, almost as fast, as it had escalated, it plunged, ending with the four ruffian's being escorted from the tavern by Syliran Knights, two having been carried.
Shiress didn't know what actually took place, save that their little section of the Stallion erupted in noisy commotion. Her attempts to stand with Sayana were stalled by the sudden bodies around her, engaging each other in shoves, swings, and the occasional, repelling blow of a shield. She had tried again, but was redeposit to the dusty, wooden floor for the last time, by an injured Eypharian. With that, the bartender decided she'd had enough, despite the fact she'd not really had any part of it to begin with. In her mind anyway.
Pulling Sayana along the floor, Shiress settled in a corner, far enough away from the skirmish to seem to be in safe surroundings. There she remained seated a full bell later, an unconscious, multi-armed, dancer for company, her head laying in Shiress' lap, above crisscrossed legs. The tavern was quiet, an odd quiet, considering what had just happened. Kevith had just left, nodding his understanding of Shiress' intentions, as he walked out the door.
She'd stay with the dancer, until she came around. No one knew where the woman lived and there wasn't much anyone could do at Soothing Waters until she came around, anyway.
The headache she'll have when she wakes may, in fact, warrant a visit, but she'd leave that up to Sayana.
Pulling dark tangles from the dancer's face, Shiress swiped the damp cloth across her forehead once again, then, sighing, leaned her head back against the wall.
it's gonna be a long night.. she thought, pulling down the lids of her eyes.
