This is literally the lore system. Specific bits of knowledge that help define a character's understanding and mastery of a skill.

You could do a write up of combat lores, but that would be what they are: lores. There's no changing the skills because the skills are the same. The idea of expanding lore is perfectly sound, and if you want to do that, please do!

But it should be clear: everything you have proposed is a mirror of the lore system.

Correct, Fable....that is exactly what I wanted to do, though with more details to help clarify how they work and interplay with IC weapon usage. Take lores about weapons usage, give them some order and some more standardized meaning, put the major ones into a single Lore (actually Lore) page which would then be categorized according to the style. Since you think that this is a good idea....I'm going to go ahead and start work on a draft for this.
