If you are playing your PC in Syka in The Winter of 523 be sure and register! I will use the information you provide in your registry entry to plan for Syka Events this season and further your plots. It is important to not give generic answers but to be very specific and thoughtful responses.

Before you play in Syka for the first time, you'll need to speak to me about accommodations, a job, or whether you have enough coin to support yourself. If you want to start a business or get a loan for a home, there are funds available via a loan from The Founders of Syka.

There are leadership positions available in the form of Guardians of Syka. Anyone who is ACTIVE can join this group. All that is required is an enthusiasm for Syka and the time to stay active. Let me know if you are interested in one of those positions.

Syka requires certain skills. For example, if you do not have a Wilderness Survival skill of Expert or higher, you cannot leave the confines of the Settlement to venture out into The Maw without an expert guide. We do, however, give you time to gain these skills in the game. Almost every thread you write in Syka can afford you an opportunity to gain experience in these skills. The entire list of the Syka Recommended Skills is as follows:

N = Novice, C = Competent, E = Expert, M = Master

   • Tazrae Ardera Kois
2. Who are you? Be as lengthy as you'd like.
   
   • I'm the local Innkeeper and Ranger. I also wear other hats... mage, carpenter, and a heck of a good cook. I'm invested in the community, so I am a go-to person if someone needs help.

   • Resident - I run the Protea Inn and live at Garden Beach.
4. Tell us one dream your PC has for the future.
   
   • I want safety and security for my family. I also want to expand my knowledge of magic and hone my magical skills.
5. How do you plan on supporting yourself?
   
   • The Inn and Rangering support me.
6. What would be considered your PC's absolute dream best day?
   
   • Good company with other musicians playing well into the night, enjoying good food and laughter.
7. What one aspect of your PC do you want to explore this season?
   
   • I want to focus on family and NPC relationships within my family.

   • I'd like to connect with other PCs this season.

   • I took the season off due to irl issues.

    • Its the default city at this point, plus I picked it for its lovely atmosphere and causal attitude while they were heavily invested in survival.

    • I'd love to see more players.
12. What does your PC add to Syka?
    
    • I think I have a nurturing vibe and add a hangout atmosphere to Syka via The Protea. I also link up people with Ixam when and if I can.

Quzon Gemshock Pitrius of the Barbed Earth.

"Just like my magics, I am someone who throws my soul into everything I do. I will help Lars at the Saw Mill with the same fervor as when I lift weights. I will continue to seek to help anyone strive to erase their weaknesses and in turn make Syka victorious."


Are you a resident or a tourist?
"Resident. My home is located off the beach inland from the shores of Sharktooth Point. Its the door carved into a rock face. A tent and campfire are left pitched in the front yard for anyone to use if you want to cook a pig from Swine Swells there. "

Tell us one dream your PC has for the future.
"I want to be something different than I am right now. The power of the flesh can be stronger, more powerful. I can taste that dream as vividly as the taste of blood on my tongue."


How do you plan on supporting yourself?
"Working at the Saw Mill for Lars and helping anyone else who needs it."

What would be considered your PC's absolute dream best day?
"A proactive type of day that starts with bodybuilding that ends a freshly hunted hot meal with loved ones who helped to hunt the food down."


What one aspect of your PC do you really want to explore this season?
Dig into the reason behind why Q feels a need to bodybuild so much.


Does your PC have any goals this season?
Quzon's goals are to grow better as a battle-mage, become a ranger of Syka, and better his body however he can.


If you were here last season, what skills did you work on and why?
I didn't focus on Q for Nano, but I did have him do bodybuilding. It's both his hobby and also how he worships Izurdin.


Tell me why you chose Syka? What are some of its good aspects? What are some of its drawbacks?
Q is originally from Taloba and sees Syka as his new home in Falyndar. A drawback is getting eaten by insects aka the jungle will kill people who are not ready.


Is there anything you'd like to see changed or improved?
Nothing in mind at the moment to change, but I'll post more to improve activity.

What does your PC add to Syka?
Dedication and motivated honesty. Q will cheer people on to attain their own victories no matter how larger or small. If he's asked, he'll reject all aspects of laziness to help others achieve their goals. He is a ride-or-die friend.
