Church decided the best place to start would be in his parents old office. "If the have one," he thought to himself. He wasn't too sure as he parents never spoke of one, yet always told him stories about how majestic and beautiful the University was, and the Administrations Office was no different. Even if their office wasn't here, he's sure that someone would know about where his parents did all their work within the University.

Good day, the name is Church Hanrahan. I'm the son of Rylan and Bliss Hanrahan. They were anthropologists for the University. I was wondering if they had an office located on the grounds, or if I could speak to someone who may know where they kept all their notes?

OOCMake sure to put quotes around your dialog ^^

The entrance into the Administration's Office was nothing grand. The large, double doored front lead into what appeared to be a small lobby, albeit a makes-shift one at best. There was a small receptionist desk that was flanked by two hallways on each side, two that lead farther back into the building and two more that lead to their respective east and west wings. Currently, a young woman with a queer, alchemical smell sat behind the desk. She was slight with short, blond hair, frizzled at the edges as if the rest of it had burned off. Her attire was nothing sort of some official garb, a garment alloted to some of the universities lower officers; in truth, she looked very much liked a student herself. As the door closed behind Church the woman dislodged her nose from the book it was in - something or another about alchemical concoctions judging by the title - and she peered up at the boy with narrowed, blue eyes, cold like ice as if she resented the interruption.

The receptionist nodded as Church spoke. She seemed polite, if annoyed, but as soon as he mentioned "Anthropologists" she raised a hand and pointed at the door to her left, one that lead back into the building. She was quick to talk over Church, interrupting him.

"You want Professor Jan. He's in his office. Just go down the hallway, take a right at the first intersection, go straight until you reach the stairs. You'll go up a flight, turn around, turn left at Tee intersection and it will be the second door on your right. Knock three times. Have a nice day, sir." With that, the young woman smiled and returned to her book, almost as if she had completely pushed Church from her mind.

OOC :
I waited for two days before posting so i can get an approval on my linguistic skill. I am just gonna go head and post, I will change my posts if necessary.

Xela walked up to this large building. As she looks around she sees all the older buildings with decorations that at one time probably meant something. "That student said the Registrar was here" She said quietly to herself as she walks up the stairs. She took a breath staring at the lions beside the large doors to the building.
"It took me a while to get here. After that night, I really did not know what I was gonna do. Well Xela, This is it." She mumbles to herself. She takes a deep breath as she opens the doors to the office. Walking down the large hallways she noticed that the structure on the outside did not do the inside any justice.
Xela comes up to a large desk, realizing that she must wait inline. She is not sure what she is gonna say. She is a far way from home. The person she came with is dead and she has no place to stay. She starts to pay attention as she gets closer to the desk seeing this very old man taking care of one person after the other. There was one person in front of her before it was her turn.

The elderly clerk looked at the Konti with a politely friendly expression. "Good day. What's your business in the Administration Offices today?" He looked helpful enough, and the people in line before Xela had seemed relatively satisfied. He waited patiently for her reply.

7th Day of Summer, 511 AV

Cora quickly entered the Administration Office. She knew the building of course, because she spent all her life in Zeltiva, but she had never been inside before. 'Well, there is first time for everything,' she thought with a sigh and then she looked over room and nodded approvingly.

She wished that her father still could practice his profession. She understood, that he had to give it up because of his age and condition, but she felt she wasn't ready to take it over. That's why she now stood in the office, curiously looking around.

She spotted the receptionist's desk and quickly walked up to it. She cleared her throat a bit. "Hello, I am Cora Greenberg and I would like to gain some education in medicine. Could you please show me, where I should go?" Cora smiled softly at the receptionist, but she was little impatienly tapping her foot against the floor, hoping that the receptionist would send her somewhere quickly.

Xela looked at the elderly man as she finally reaches the tall desk. "Hi, My name is Xela, I am here to look for a job as a Librarian and would like to know your requirements for teaching here. I specialize in languages and translation." She smiles as she waits for his answer wondering if he is going to give her some bad news.

Xela

The man looked thoughtful. "What languages do you know? If you're a fluent speaker of one of the rarer ones, that might be enough for the linguistics department. The library would appreciate it too. I know they're looking for document specialists in certain tongues."

Cora

The receptionist this particular day was a woman with a polite, if somewhat bland, smile.

"Do you have a field of medicine that interests you? Or any prior skill? If you can tell me, I should be able to place you promptly."

OOC: Sorry for the delay. Life is crazy at the moment...

30 Summer 511AV

Having finally decided to try and improve his medicine and herbalism, Herb heading off down towards the University, after asking directions for the place to talk to someone, a very kind person pointed him in the direction of the Administration Office.

Upon entering the office he looks around again in wide eye'd amazement that buildings this big even existed. Walking over to the gigantic desk with which someone sat behind.
' Good morning, I'm wondering if it would be at all possible to be taught some more things about herbs and medicine type things? i've done little bits of it that a friend taught me, but other then that I'm afraid I'd like to learn some more. ' He asked openly and plainly, well as plainly as he could.

Cora looked at the receptionist pensively and then replied slowly.

"Well, you see, my father owns a small office in the city and now he is too old and ill to treat people on his own. I have to help him and I found that my skills in this field are not...adequate. I am not interested in some particular field. I would like to gain more general view on it."

She took a moment to ponder on what she has just said and quickly added. "Oh and about my prior skills...I know how to treat minor injuries like small burns, cuts and broken bones and I know a little about massage. I know about some healing plants and how they are used but I am afraid that's all." she looked at the receptionist almost apologetically. Then she awaited her response with anxiety.

Herb

The receptionist nodded. "Department of Medicine. They can help you, I think. You'll want Doctor Theresa Parker, who's head of the department and can place you in a class."

Cora

The receptionist seemed eager to soothe Cora's nerves. "You should be able to take a class. If you've enough prior training on the basics, you may even be able to help at the University Infirmary in lieu of payment. At any rate, go to the Department of Medicine and ask for Doctor Theresa Parker. You may know her, if your father is in the field? Regardless, she can make sure you're in the right class."

Both of you, if you want to start a thread going to the DoM, PM me the link, and I'll take it from there ^_^
