OLD [Syliras' OOC Thread] The Calm within the Storm

Lady Gossamer's epic post results in improvements for Syliras February 17, 2010 Syliras Grandmaster gets an office Syliras Assistant Storyteller and self-proclaimed mega-zealot Jedo announced that the special office for Syliran Knight Grandmaster Loren Dyrdas has been completed as of early morning, February 17, 2010. While originally set in limbo due to the heavy time constraints which he is currently facing in RL, the article was surprisingly written within a very quick time frame, reputedly in an attempt to appease Lady Gossamer's dark mood due to some unforeseen events. The post by Lady Jen was apparently posted in an attempt to preserve, improve and encourage the quality of Syliras' domains. "Trout, trout, trout." Jedo said through an interpreter who, apparently, had no idea regarding the meaning of his statement either. The write up, according to his office, is not yet finalized, and is in need of a few finishing touches. It was also stated in the press release exclusive hosted by Sorian fanclub federation Inc. that new ideas will be welcomed, and must be mailed in to his office at the Resources thread. Jedo's office also promised that the AS will continually strive for quality in his future works and add more improvements in the near future -AP

As some of you might know, my job situation has changed. I went from working a nice 40 hours a week to somewhere in the neighborhood of 84... in less than three days. That's 6 days a week 14 hr days or thereabouts... a little more sometimes a little less. This is supposed to last 2-3 weeks. Everyone have positive vibes that it will be very very short. Until then, I'll be non-existent on here besides on Sundays.

Lean on the AS's... they are fabulous guys.

And I'll get posts out on the adventures only once a week... and for that I'm very sorry, but I have no other real choice.

Thank you for your patience or at least lack of outright rage. Your a great city to DS for and everyone here is top notch in terms of writing.

Remember, if you are waiting on a shop post, odds are I haven't seen it. Feel free to use the DS request thread to post a request for moderation in a shop. Most of Syliras' shops are self-moderated so we don't check them unless you nudge us for a special request or its a shop like Undeniable Interests.

I was hoping to request a thread where Jaq searches for a magi who can teach him the basics of Animation. Since he's trying to keep out of the public eye he'd want it done discreetly.

Everyone else... the season change happens MIDNIGHT on the night prior to the FIRST of March... Winter turns to Spring and all the threads will become grandfathered at that point and no new posts can be done in Winter. So, now is the time to get last minute threads started....

PMS have been spotty for the last little bit since the move. Tarot has been working on them today, but evidently the mail server has been down for off and on periods of time... it should be fixed now.

So, if you've sent one of us Storytellers a pm about anything in the last few weeks and we haven't answered, please feel free to resend the message. They should have gotten through - all of them - but I'm betting certain ones did not because I keep getting people saying they've sent pms and I haven't seen hide nor hair of them.

So... please feel free to resend. You won't be bugging anyone, especially if you haven't gotten an answer.

Agh, I am sorry guys. I have been on an involuntary hiatus due to a small fight I had with my parents. The backed up homework I had when I came back from DECA State pushed it over the edge when I didn't have it done in the first few days. My parents took my computer away. xD

So I sincerely apologise for neglecting and putting off those of you who have been expecting me to finish threads or waiting for me to post or to start one with me.
