First Day in a New Place (Open)

((Sorry, didn't realise. Its all good though.)

Tomas was indeed surprised by the Dhani's chosen tactics, but there was little he could do about it now. His muscles tensed, his ears back, he was already prepared to spring. Midair the dhani springs back at him and there is nothing he can do to halt his momentum. Fangs bared he flies right at Sasin and his instincts tell him to go for the jugular, but he holds back and instead slams right into the man.

Tomas kicks back with all fours and springs away as soon as they hit the ground, landing clumsily a few feet away but quickly regaining his footing. Snarling he quickly runs a half circle in an attempt to get behind the snake before he gets up and will try to jump on his back, biting the back of his neck and trying to force him to the ground.

Sasin hissed as they collided. This was not good. He was shoved back, and landed in a pile. He rearranged himself as he watched Tomas try and get behind him. He chuckled. "There'sss one problem with that method." He hissed. "All I have to do, is this!" he said, uncoiling himself partly. He was faster than Tomas's run, so they were facing each other no mater what.

Grinning, he sprang at the wolf, aiming to tangle his legs up.

((Sorry for taking so long. Been a busy past few days for me.))

Tomas see's his problem but does not stop running when Sasin launches at him, continuing his circle and hopefully running right past the dhani as he springs past. When this happens Tomas will reverse momentum, springing toward the dhani whose back should now be exposed.

If this works he will try the tactic again of biting his neck and trying to wrestle him to the ground. If Sasin manages to turn around and face him he will still smah into him and bite his arm, shaking back and forth and trying to make him lose his balance so Tomas can force him down beneath him.

Sasin cursed as he missed. He watched as the kelvic continued to run a circle around him. He smiled as a plan formed in his mind. Staying down deliberately, he turned at the last minute as the wolf lunged at him. His hand came up to grab at the wolf's snapping jaws, while his tail tried to tangle up his legs again.

If this worked, he'd he holding Tomas's jaws shut with his hands, and tangling his paws with his tail. Which would leave them at a stalemate. Of course, Sasin still had his fangs. If this failed as well, he'd try to grab the wolf, and wrestle him to the ground.

Tomas is caught in the Dhani's grip and thrashes about wildly trying to break free. He wasn't sure how much longer this fight was going to go on, but it seemed that neither of them could get the upper hand. However, nobody said to stop yet and so he did the first thing that came to mind. Tomas stops struggling and instead shifts to human form, much smaller than his wolf form.

This should free him of at least the grip around his jaws, and once free Tomas punches out at Sasin's face. He's not very strong in human form, but he hoped this would at least distract the dhani long enough for him to free himself and get away before shifting back to wolf. If he gets away he'll go on the defensive, slowly circling but waiting for Sasin to make the next move.

Sasin growed, annoyed, as tomas shifted back. This was bad. In his human form, tomas was much harder to keep a grip on. He loosened his grip on his face, and reached for his neck instead. This was gettting very, very frustrating. Neither of them seemed to be winning, and he had been planning to be gone by now. This wolf wasn't bad.

He cursed as one arm got free. Not expecting the punch, he was stunned for a moment, but still he held on tightly. He doubted they'd be able to get away anytime soon. Tomas's legs and his tail were both tangled up by now.

Grinning, he pinned down the kelvic, and smirked. "Dead." Was all he said, before he slid his fangs into tomas's neck. He was careful not to inject any poison. He didn't want to kill him, after all.

(Sorry Tomas. Real life caught up with me.)

(I'm assuming that Dhani can "Dry bite" like real snakes do.)

((No problem. I have two jobs, so I can understand life getting in the way.))

Tomas struggles against against the Dhani, punching and flailing but in his human form he is not strong enough. He'd hoped to take Sasin off guard and get free, but instead he got himself into an even worse situation.

Tomas fights all the way down, not stopping until the last moment when the fangs sink into his neck. He knew he needed to remain still, or else the bite could do some serious damage, and he hoped Sasin would live up to his word and not inject the poison. The battle was pretty intense, so he wasn't sure if the Dhani remembered that it wasn't real or not.

"Okay, okay. I give, you win." He relaxes, waiting for Sasin to release him, then will roll away and climb to his feet, weary but hopefully not filled with poison and about to die.

(Kay, I'm back from my holiday.)

He smirked, uncoiling himself from the Kelvic. "A good fight. Perhaps I've misjudged you." He sat back on his tail, breathing heavily. "The bite will heal. It's not fatal, as you can tell by the fact that you're not choking on death." He said cheerfully.

He watched as the Kelvic got back up. "By the way, when we get back to town, could you do me a favor? Don't tell anyone what I am. Let them think I'm a normal human, please." he didn't want the Kelvic spilling his secret. He'd hate to have to kill him.

Tomas brushes the dirt and grass from his body, his breath returning to normal, and puts his hand over the neck wound. It felt worse than it was, but he knew Sasin was right and that it would heal up fine.

"No problem... I can see it would be a bad idea to make you mad." He cuckles, wincing a bit as a sharp pain runs through his neck. "Though if I were you I wouldn't want to hide it. I think turning into a snake would be pretty cool. ...not as a good as a wolf, but still." He smirks as he says that last part. "So.. what now?"

He shook his head. "You don't understand. My kind....We don't have the best reputation around here. Kelvics are accepted in society, but Dhani aren't. Even a few kelvics hate us. If you told them, I could be driven out." The unspoken "again" hung in the air. His pride still stung as he remembered how that cat had tried to kill him.

He glanced up. "It's getting late. We should go."
