Good to get some closure. At least now I know the person responsible has been found. It still angers me that nobody other than us thought to stop, but oh well. People suck.

Okay, people. This is something that has been kind of irritating me for a while now. If you send me a PM and ask me a question and I don't immediately respond, try again. If you feel the need to contact me more directly, then contact me directly. This does not mean message one of my friends on Miz and ask them to ask me for you, because that is not going to get you positive results. Specifically, I'm talking about Jules/Addy/Phoenix/other names. Don't send her a message on AIM asking her to message me for you. If you want to contact me, contact me. If you don't have my S/N, there's this little icon under my name that lets you get it:

Use it. Contacting me directly annoys me far less than using my friends to do it for you. Thanks.

I should have made that last message more general. It seems like I'm targeting one person but I'm not. I've had lots of people do this, or not even bother to PM me at all but have someone else ask me for them without ever even trying. Why should I say yes to someone who wont even ask for it themselves? I'm sorry if that makes me sound like a jerk, but it's just a pet peeve of mine. I won't give you special treatment because you used Jules or Jen to soften me up, in fact it will make me more angry. Sure, I might calm down later and reconsider, I usually do actually.. but don't use other people to get what you want from me. It doesn't work, it makes me mad, and it puts them in the crossfire which is something I don't want.

My favorite thing is when I send friendly messages to certain people for days on end, they go unanswered, and finally they pop up all friendly to say hi and it turns out they aren't saying hi(!) they just need something.

The other AIM type I love is the ones that want to talk incessantly about their lives like they are so interesting. Sometimes they are, don't get me wrong, but sometimes it just comes across as being in love with oneself. I particularly get annoyed at the 'happy happy happy happy' stuff cause it comes off so dishonest. I don't mind hearing about other people's lives, but I don't want to listen to their problems day after day and then low and behold when I want to talk about me (which granted isn't often), they have NO TIME. I hate this. Because it feels so one-sided and like I've been totally used. Truth be told I can't even really look at those people much, even if its just their words on a screen, after that. I realize everyone's lives revolve around themselves, but with some people its REALLY REALLY REVOLVING ONLY AROUND THEM.

This IRKS me beyond measure.
