Moderately surprised at Bones’ reaction, Leigo would stare down the blade withholding any significant response. Yet all he could feel was anger, there was no fear yet, the blade wasn’t real enough to stop his pride. It was real enough to stop any further movement though.
You will distract him and I’ll deal the blow. Anything we might’ve owed ends at the point of this sword – Leigo could hear himself think, but Onuo didn’t seem to have any objections.
Luckily, the duo was stopped by a shout coming from down the alley. From his current position the boy couldn’t move much without making the armed stranger edgy, so he couldn’t see just who it was. He would hear soon enough though.
“What’s the meaning of this?!” a short pause then the booming authoritative kept going “You there! What happened?” not sure of the man’s reaction, Leigo used his diverted attention to move back a bit and step to the side swiftly. He knew how troublesome the guards could be, so he wasn’t staying to try and understand their reprimand on this particular day.
While running away, he would mutter under his breath “That’s one more for Dira to appreciate… something tells me we won’t be seeing him again for a while…” unless stopped, Leigo would run off with what little speed he could muster. He was no warrior, but he was vengeful enough to kill a dozen. Somehow, the boy was certain, that’s all that mattered.
Bones let Leigo run off, not stopping him. He did want to have to cut him down. And as it seemed the guard or whomever had finally arrived, he was left to explain what had occurred.
But at least it had not ended with anyone dead. Not any of the defenseless men Leigo would have killed, if not for him interceding. Though if he had not initially interceded, Leigo would have been the dead one. So he supposed the man did still indeed owe him his life twice. Once for saving him from the others, and the other for not killing him when he threatened Bones.
Bones would turn to the approaching guard, and do his best to explain what had happened. Though since he had refrained from killing anyone, and had only acted as these men were trying to kill another, he did not see how he could get in trouble.
He sent one last gaze after the man whom had run off, not worrying about him. Perhaps they would meet again... Perhaps not... Only time would tell.
Bones is a Constrictor Dhani. He likes to eat meat. He also has some speech problems.
When he speaks, a double s (ss) means a [th] sound, that he cannot say.
A triple s (sss) means just an [s], but it is extended in his speech.

Short but good thread! It was slightly difficult to figure out where they actually were because it wasn't explicitly stated, but let us just assume they were away from the eyes of the waveguards (during the battle). Cool interaction between the two, and I'd love to see how their next encounter would go. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to PM me!
