Sketches, Lots of 'em.

Hey all, I'm going to offer my mediocre drawing abilities to you in an attempt to improve my drawing skills. I'm only going to be sketching out characters (No backgrounds because I am going through a stage of self-loathing in that area ), no color or anything, sorry :S. I am far from a realistic artist. Most to all of my work is stylized, though the extent of it depends on the drawing, and my mood XD. I'll try to keep things consistent around here but I don't guarantee anything. Some examples below: Examples : A sketch of an Okomo. Yes, I am linking you because I would be eternally grateful if you spared time for a peer review. Shameless advertising! Same character, different styles. I can do a color overlay in Photoshop if you specifically request it, but nothing detailed . All I need is a description of what you're looking for. I really won't be trying to replicate whatever image you might have for the character, and will be basing my drawing completely on the description . Hiya,

I've been thinking for awhile about trying to get a drawing done of some of Tock's Automatons, if you'd be interested in that?

Their forms are relatively simple. For example, Naily is a hammer on wheels, with the axle attached through the hammer's handle. He has two little glass eyes on the handle. And a standard hammer head with the claw on the back.

Choppy is a single-bladed carpenter's axe. Such as the kind you'd use for chopping firewood. His handle is attached to a metal axle with springs to give him better recoil. And the axle is attached to two tall, thin, metal stork-like legs, with three-toed claws. He also has glass eyes on the handle.

Let me know if you'd be up for sketching these, or any of my other Golems. ^.^

Tock, I might be a little slow on your request as I am not particularly skilled at drawing gadgets/machinery, but I'm totally going to give it a shot because Choppy and Naily sound awesome. I'm going to go find my ruler.

Lol Nira XD. The variation in style is a skill hard learned, I must admit. The trick is to have no idea what you're doing.

Naama, are we on the same page in understanding that a dugong is a weird seal thing? And it must ride a dragon? I smell a challenge brewing.
