PC Plotnotes - Tock

(This is a thread from Mizahar's fantasy role play forums. Why don't you register today? This message is not shown when you are logged in. Come roleplay with us, it's fun!)

This forum is an OOC forum for PCS and Organizations to work out plans in hardcopy. Each PC or Organization gets a single thread where their players can help work out plans for their PC. Quests, mini-sagas, and Trips can all be organized here as well working out timelines and points of travel and things PCs need to do along the way. Each PC however gets only one Plotnote for their individual PC. Groups get one as well. There is no limit on individuals posting saga or trip plotnote threads. Please denote [PC Plotnotes] or [Group Plotnotes] or [Quest/Trip/Saga Plotnotes] when titling your threads.

PC Plotnotes - Tock

Postby Minerva Agatha Zipporah on June 16th, 2012, 5:17 pm

Threads to be written

Minerva's Granddad

Developing the Relationship
Headless Dolls (Exploring why Tock truly dislikes girly things)
A Love For Tools
A Girl's Pride
A Girl's Shame (Exploring the things Tock hid from her Granddad and why)

Death and Dreams
The Illness (In which Granddad gets sick)
The Coma (Spring 508: Tock sleeps for three months)
Awakening to Loss (Tock awakens from the coma to find her Granddad dead and gone)
This Ain't a Cruise Ship (Tock's departure from Sunberth)

Stages of Loss
Stage of Loss: Denial
Stage of Loss: Anger
Stage of Loss: Bargaining
Stage of Loss: Depression
Stage of Loss: Acceptance

(Note: The "Stages of Loss" series of threads are only considered completed if an appropriate Lore is rewarded signifying that Tock has entered that stage. Current stage: Bargaining)

Legacy
Achieving greatness in Granddad's name

(Note: Many of these thread concepts are open and not set in stone. Feel free to PM me with ideas if you're interested in being part of them. "Developing the Relationship" and "Death and Dreams" are, by necessity, Flashbacks in Sunberth prior to Autumn 508 AV. "Stage of Loss: Denial" will be a Flashback in Mura, sometime in Autumn or Winter of 508 AV. The rest will be Zeltiva threads in the present.)

The Zeltivan Monument Series

Part 1: The Proposal (In which Tock gets permission to build the monument.)
Part 2: The Recruitment (In which Tock trades favors in order to get some help)
Part 3: The Materials (In which Tock gets the stone she needs, with help from the people she recruited)
Part 4: The Tools (In which Tock forges a set of special stone carving tools)
Part 5: The Design (In which Tock finalizes the actual design)
Part 6: The Carving (In which the work finally begins)
Part 7: The Defining (In which the finer details are added in)
Part 8: The Polishing (In which everything gets made purty)
Part 9: The Display (In which artistic touches are added and the area arranged)

(Note: The Zeltivan Monument Series is an ongoing storyline during which Tock is creating a landmark as a testament to Zeltiva's greatness. Themes to be explored include: falling in love with a city that isn't her home, learning Zeltivan history, learning more about stone carving, art, and symbolism, and earning recognition in the city. Many of these threads are open to development and I'd like for some of them to involve other players. Please PM me if you are interested in taking part. The monument will not be completed until Autumn at the earliest.)

The Mikey Series
Mikey is a very sick little boy. He is the victim of an illness that was spread and became more virulent because of Wrenmae Sek's affliction of the Blight Gnosis.

Long Day - In which Tock starts to bond with the little boy.
Different Streets, Same Troubles - In which Tock ends up having to take on extra responsibility for the now orphaned and alone child.
Helping a Friend - In which Tock tries to get Mikey healed, but his condition continues to worsen.
Getting Better - In which Mikey isn't getting better at all...
Surprise Visit - In which Tock's friends try to cheer her up in the face of impending loss.
Desperate Bargaining - In which things get desperate.
Negotiating the Future - Asking the Fortune Teller for help.
Life & Death - In which Tock tries one last desperate attempt to save Mikey's life...
Corrupted - In which bad things happen to good people...
??? - Vengeance against the Blighter

How to Build a Mechanical Wolf
The Concept - Meeting a wolf, and getting the idea to build one herself
The Specimens - Capturing a live wolf and several dead ones for study
The Dissection - Cutting open some wolves to learn how they work

Assembly (bring all above parts together to make a whole)
The Animation - Bringing it to life
Performance Tests - Have it hunt a deer and compare to a normal wolf's capabilities

Goals

Tock needs to:

Get marked by Sagallius

Lose her virginity
Kiss a girl (maybe do more than that?) (Chaste kiss, but on the lips. HALF counts. EDIT: Okay, NOW it counts! )
Kiss (or do more with) a member of each of the following species:
Ethaefal
Jamoura
Kelvic
Pycon
Konti
Charoda
Dhani
Symenestra
Nuit
Isur
Akalak
Akvatari
Eypharian

Achieve Trident Champion status in Zeltiva
Achieve Trident Knight status in Zeltiva
Commit cold blooded murder (4 killed)
--Ongoing Body Count:
----Death by magical experimentation (1 killed)
----Seduced and lured a man to his death to serve as a new body for a Nuit (1 killed)
Capture and experiment on a Pycon
Study the physical anatomy of a wolf, a pigeon, and a human (both while alive and performing autopsies of deceased subjects)
--Hire a hunter/tracker to capture two wolves (one male one female) for her. Study their physical structure, then kill one and use its body for study and for spare parts. Save the other to use as a Source for Animation.
----Note to self: Acquire the wolves separately (get the second one only AFTER the first is dead and cut up). Must avoid accidental transfers of emotions (i.e. Don't make a wolf Golem from a wolf that is angry over the death of its mate).
Milk a Kelvic in both human and animal form
Experiment on a Kelvic to examine their transformation process: will removal of a body part (such as a tail) that only exists in animal form result in a corresponding wound on the human form? What will happen with injuries that can't 'fit' the other form (such as a 2-foot long gash in human form when the Kelvic turns into a 1-foot long animal form)? If a Kelvic bird has its feathers plucked in bird form, does anything happen to the hair in human form?
Suffer a permanently debilitating injury of some kind, and replace the damaged body part with an artificial Animated one permanently adhered to her body.
Apologize to someone
Apologize to someone and mean it
Be begrudgingly forced to do something she doesn't want to do. BONUS! - Under penalty of death! DOUBLE BONUS! - At the hands of a woman even MORE mad than Tock!
Lose an argument
Lose an argument and actually admit she was wrong
Lose an argument, admit she was wrong, and actually mean it
Lose an argument, admit she was wrong, actually mean it, and apologize for her temper and bad attitude during the argument
Offend someone so badly that they try to hit her
Kill a cat
Do something that completely violates her ideals

Find out whether Iris Timandre can successfully convert Tock to become devoted to Rak'keli

(Undecided) - Get fired from her job and go into business for herself.

Goals for Fall 512:
Learn Alchemy to at least Competent level
--Create an alchemical silk spinner for Bitey (so he can make webs)
Learn Auristics to at least Competent level
--Study Cutty with Auristics to determine how to repair him
----Repair Cutty, and upgrade his programming level
Go all season long without suffering a bad enough injury to be bed bound, need crutches, or have to build a new Automaton to compensate for the injury (In Progress... so far so good!)
Learn Competent Masonry and Architecture
--Build expansions to my house
----Build my own Blacksmithing Forge, Metalsmithing Foundry, and Gadgeteering Workshop
------Animate various aspects of the new workshop, etc
Job threads: Mr. Marshall's office, working with new Apprentices, building a marble facade in pre-Valterrian style
University: Take classes in grammar and literature so she can "Learn fer ta talks all poshy-like an' make the Bossman 'appy..."

The Adventures of Jillian Smythe, Lady Adventurer!

Tock's favorite book, found accidentally one day when she was doing homework. The chapters thus far seen during Tock's threads will be chronicled here. Tune in for regular occasional random updates!

(Note: Chapters are listed in roughly the correct order, but there are "gaps" in between. These are just excerpts.)

Chapter Five: On Wings Of Passion

Jillian stood before the Akvatari Prince, her bosom heaving with excitement and anticipation. The battle had been long, but the Archduke of Fear had been driven off, and they had peace. For tonight, at least. Perhaps just for tonight.

The Prince came towards her, floating on gossamer wings, his smile of gratitude sending another kind of adrenaline rushing through the young heroine. He reached up to gently brush her long, crimson locks back over her shoulder and gazed deeply into her emerald eyes. "You have my eternal gratitude," he said to her, "though I fear I have no reward befitting such a brave and immaculate woman as yourself."

"None is needed," Jillian said breathlessly, leaning closer to the Prince's touch. "For I have done only what I was destined to do..."

"Is it only destiny?" the Prince asked, his hands gliding across the bare, smooth skin of her shoulders. "Does a lady such as you know only fate... or are there times you can embrace the moment...?"

In answer, she reached up and slid his hands lower, curling his fingers around the torn silk of her blouse. At her urging, he ripped it off, exposing her firm and supple...

Jillian cried out in passion, her back arching, pleasure filling her. It had been glorious, it had been fulfilling, and the Prince had been both firm and gentle, guiding her through the unfamiliar act of physical love with so much caring and tenderness...

She smiled down at him, straddling the seal body of his lower half, running her fingers through his hair. The Akvatari Prince gazed up at her with longing, his fingers tickling her sides, a contented smile touching his tender lips. She leaned close and kissed him, whispering softly, "My Prince, that was the most invigorating experience of my young, energetic life..."

The Prince slid his hands up to cradle her face and replied, "Stay here with me..."

Rising from his lap, covered in the sweat of passion, Jillian turned away. "You know I cannot..." she replied, pulling on her clothes and retrieving her sword from the floor. "The Archduke may have been defeated, but his apprentice, Baron Fury, is still at large..."

The Prince sighed, hanging his head. He knew he couldn't hope to tame a woman as passionate, as strong as Jillian. He rose and slid up behind her, wrapping his arms around her from behind. He whispered in her ear, "At least promise me, you'll never forget me...?"

Jillian turned, and her eyes strayed downwards, a wry smirk touching her lips. "Oh Prince," she said breathlessly, "I could never forget that..."
