Come Into My Parlor (OOC Thread)

I had an idea for a holiday called the Night of Eyes. For some reason I couldn't post in the Development forum.

It would be something similar to Halloween in America. Children dress up and make masks, trying to scare the adults of the city as they roam about their daily chores. When night falls the Moth Queen hosts a masquerade for the adults of society.

This holiday stems from when they were forced from Kalinad into the underground caverns that would become Kalinor. A very rigid temporary government was established, and taxes were gathered in great sums once a year. To avoid taxes, adults and children would hide and wear masks, harassing the tax collectors until they left their family alone. That night, after the tax collectors had given up, a great party would be held to celebrate, and gifts would be given to friends and family.

Since that time, the govornment has relaxed and the practice has become more of a holiday; a reason to celebrate and have a little fun in late Winter.

Attention:

The season ends in a few days.

If you want to earn your seasonal income, you need two job threads.

If you only have one job thread, you only get 50%.

In order to qualify for your seasonal experience, you need threads where you use your job as a background for other activites.

You can get up to 4 points worth of seasonal experience!

At the Research Facility scientists research the venom and the fatal pregnancies of Symenestra women and surrogates. It is more or less connected to the Purging.

PCs of Kalinor, as I already told you, the season is ending soon. If you want to start threads that take place in summer, you need to put up placeholders within the next couple of hours (like Dovinya apparently just did)!

Hi guys!

A lot of things happened but I am hopefully back without too many problems. I will begin posting at a slow pace but I am very sorry I just disappeared after a bit there. So far I just plan to complete my Spring and Summer threads before getting anything done for the new season

And I'm so very excited to see so many new PCs now that I'm back!

Pleased to be acquainted with everyone, and I look forward to our threads.

If you are in the city at any point during the new season, you should post there. I want to keep track of who's in the city. Knowing who's here when and why helps me plan my quests and such.
