(Drusilla's Scrapbook) Spiders and Purple Stuff

Welcome to my little page-thingy-book. It's a place I can keep track of my many thoughts and of pictures I like or that make me laugh. Feel free to come in and look around or leave a message, just be nice to me. I might post things about my darling little Dru or my alt Minosayaa. I might post things that make no sense. I might post about my real life. Or a giant mess of everything. I'm thinking the last one... So about me... Name: Jamie, Jamie Evalyn (it's my middle name, but I like being called by it) Age:22 Gender: Female I have a boyfriend who also plays/played a Symenestra. I once was engaged but that's behind me now. I work at the school I went to for ten years pre-K through 8th grade (so did my little brother) I work with my mom running the hot lunch program, I often get in trouble for zoning out with my head phones in. My 16 year old brother is my best friend, he sometime gives me advice on my threads sort of... I'm going to be going to school to be a nurse. I'm an artist (pen and pencil) and I also play a few instruments. I took Japanese in highschool, I'm far from fluent but I work certain phrases into everyday chatter (Much to my parents dismay)

Apparently when my brother asks in russian, "What do they call you?" (I guess it's like whats your name) Answering with the first few lines of the steve miller band's The Joker is not the correct answer.

I love spiders it's no secret as a little kid my dad had an Amazon Pink Toe Tarantula.(see last pic) It was the neatest thing watching it. It's name was Pinkie. I wish I could have one as a pet. But my brother is an arachnophobe.

So... I'm going force myself into posting in this scrapbook! I horde pics I find interesting so maybe I'll post them or I don't know.. We see how this goes...

Today is day 2 of my forced posting... So, how about some music? I honestly can't stand silence. I need background noise to get anything done, same goes with writing for Dru. There are even certain songs I listen to when writing with a specific PC. Anyway I have a thing for the strings and Played cello in school, so here's some Lindsey Stirling. Makes me want to jump in a fountain myself~ A song I would so use for Dru! Just because... I love spiders...

Maybe you know them already, but if you don't you should check out Pentatonix. Lindsey collaborated with them on Radioactive (with the cool beatboxing cello guy) and some other stuff more recently. All of their stuff is pretty fantastic (I'm a sucker for acapella and harmonies), but their Say Something is really pretty, and they did a Daft Punk medley which is so cool and catchy it should probably be illegal.

So like I said threads with certain PCs require certain music. There are also songs I listen to that get me into the mindset of each of my PCs. Focusing on Drusilla...and her friends... Azira threads: Music where you can feel female anger, some cockiness, and a whole lot of attitude. The background music on this one makes me think Azira every time I hear it. Halestorm is the perfect band to Azira Khara: It has to be heart meltingly sweet and innocent with bottled up feelings on the side. Gumi has some really sweet songs

I laughed far too much at Azira music. I find your choices interesting though. I don't need any specific music to write her but I do have a fair amount of the Smiths and rock and heavy metal on the playlists I tend to listen to. Background music on the first, I agree with you entirely.
