Well, I expect as far as each individual's costumes or whatnot go, they would see to that themselves. But as far as renting a hall or hiring entertainers, assuming we don't simply entertain ourselves, I could handle that.

So while there is nothing wrong with what your planning I need I see a lot less OOC planning and a lot more IC preparations. Does everyone know each other IC? Do they know Phonius well enough to want to go to a party for him? Where would they rent a room from and from whom? How would you spread the word and why would anyone but your PCs show up? I assume you want this to e more than just a small get together if your renting a space. Plus you need food and music and entertainment, etc. someone has to set this up ICly in thread before we can plan anything more in the OOC chat. Otherwise you run the risk of metagaming.

Oh, dun worry, I've been thinking that over the last few days. The planning'll be taken care of in a few threads; or one, since it'd probably be easier to have him run around reserving things and inviting people all at once. I wouldn't go ahead and pull a full-fledged party out of my butt like that. XD

KUV NO, you already pay Pho for his job; he'd turn into a guilty mess if you paid for his party stuff. ...actually, Kuv and him could both chip in for entertainment, food, and rental space.

Pho, as the resident Classy Spider, it would be unbearably rude for me to deny this invitation. So let me just stop you right there and say this. When my wonderfully polite Vard is invited to this party IC, he will most definitely assure you that he will perform at this party! He is a novice at the ocarina but every little bit helps! Let's just hope that he doesn't get too terribly miffed when inevitable wolf-folk, undead sketchy people and rampant drug-spiking wizards crash this party. Because one thing is certain, if Vard gets miffed and there's alcohol about...

And I totally respect that,

but consider...
Kuv has just put the town through a real mess with his "Kirby" fiasco, and would like very much to do something nice, for the sake of his OWN guilt.

Now it is seems to me that I never paid you for your courier services last season.
So...why don't you come by the shop in this "PM to join" thread I'm doing with Redire. It's right on the 1st, so it's a likely day for you to come seeking your pay.

This would allow you to meet Redire, if you haven't already. And you could casually mention your birthday. Kuv would quickly see this as the means to make amends both to you and the city in general.

IC, Kuv could invite Aislyn, Nanami, Redire, Yisanareysin and Darkalin Pinewood. From there, they could invite anyone they know. Naia, Vard, Zeke. Not everyone signs the register after all.

Plus which, Kuv could be handing out flyers about the party to customers at the shop, so there could be general knowledge in town, which could account for increased NPC attendance. The promise of food, drink and entertainment would bring them in.
