Kelski had never been out to The Pigsfoot Tavern. She wasn't remotely sure where it was even. But Thorne had insisted it would be a great place to meet to do some socializing and have a drink or two. Kelski had been flattered to be included in plans out. She was a lurker in bars of the past, someone who had went to them to watch humans in action when she'd been lonely and had needed to get out of the studio. No one had approached her, not really, but she'd enjoyed watching people and occasionally eating a meal out.

Darvin, however, knew of it and was actually eager to go. The Dragoon, once approached for a late day outing escort, had bulked at the idea at first, demanding to know if she had Jaren's permission to go 'out'. Kelski did not. However, she did have free time if she got his jobs done and could go out with an escort on a limited bases. She never abused the privilege, and truthfully wanted to get to know Thorne more. Darvin bitched and moaned and told the Kelvic it would cost her... until he found out they where going.

Kelski was fairly certain she had him at 'drinking'. But once The Pigsfoot name had come up, he was eager to go and was throwing her a cloak and all but dragging her out the door. Darvin liked to lurk behind her on their trips, but in this case he lead the way looking all to eager to get where they were going and see who was in the tavern. It didn't take them long to get to the tavern, perhaps a quarter of a bell or less at the brutal pace he set, and by late afternoon Kelski found herself at a quiet table waiting for Thorne.

Darvin was at the bar where he had a good view of the whole place. The Barkeeper had introduced himself as Merv and had wandered over to give Kelski an ale. Darvin paid for it, of course, having sent the man over to her table... and she sipped it while she waited for the other women to join her.

[Pigsfoot Tavern] An Evening Out (Avinasai)

Later in the evening, Avinasai was doing some chores around The Majestic to make the place look at least less dustier. If anything, she didn't really touch any of the jars and books. Just dusted up the area with a rag, and placed it in a bag. She would clean it later. She didn't really like living or seeing dirty places. Her mother had always taught her to pick up after herself, and others if she needed to. Even after a handful or so years living at Sunberth, there was still a heart of gold inside her. Normally, Avinasai only treated men with superstition. She was always wary towards them. Since it's Sunberth, who knows what could happen to a woman like Avinasai? There's been a couple of incidents where she has been almost caught in traumatic experiences. Though, she had gotten lucky.

Thorne was so excited when she remembered that she had to go meet Kelski. The poison crafter waved to her mentor, and grabbed her cloak, coin purse, rapier, and headed outside into Stumble Alley. Stumble Alley was one of the most 'safest' parts of Sunberth. It was safe because no one really ever walks into Stumble Alley. They don't confront Bashful very often, and if something happened to the man, Avinasai would demand an explanation and possibly justice. She's normally an eye for an eye.

However, she was completely eager to get a move on to The Pigsfoot Tavern. It was obviously one of the best places to go, despite the possible drunk men with lust to be intimate, and might also get quite demanding.

She made her way to the Pigsfoot Tavern, but had an odd sensation that someone was watching her. With her good looks, she decided to raise her hood and draped it over her head to cover up her stunning facial features. She knew that she was pretty, Kelski even told her so. She didn't need earrings or jewelry to compliment her. She remembered that. It's so odd to find someone nice in Sunberth, and if Avinasai remembered correctly, Kelski was also a slave. So she was probably forced to be on her best behavior, however since she's able to go out and do stuff, she's definitely someone that Avinasai wants to know.

It took her awhile, bit in due time, Avinasai had reached her destination. Noise and chatter alike echoed from behind the walls of the Pigsfoot Tavern. Bright lights shown through the windows. Avinasai opened the door with a smile and stepped into the building. Engulfed with the noise, her smile grew into a smirk. All of these men filled with joy... that means that they're easily distracted and possibly wouldn't notice if a few coins we're missing from their pouches.

However, she did know that she was here for Kelski, and Thorne was looking around for the black and white haired woman. Her hair looked so gorgeous with the white contrasting against the dark. It was hard to miss out on a woman who looked just as gorgeous as herself. Then she spotted her. Sitting at Merv's bar, and was talking to another man. Possibly a guard? They must have guards with them, because it must be difficult to trust the slave from not wanting to run away. However, just because Kelski was a slave, it didn't lower any amount of trust or respect that Avinasai had for her. Even though, they've met up for the second time. She seemed like someone worth to get to know. Didn't matter if she was a slave. If Avinasai didn't do something about killing that man a year ago. She would have probably been stuck in the same position.

"Hey!" Avinasai said with a wave and a smile after pushing her cloak off her head. "Nice to meet you again, Kelski. See that you've brought a friend?" She smiled at the man. Hoping that her good looks would get her an ale.

When the Sea Eagle spotted Thorne, a slight smile split her stoic face. When the woman didn’t hesitate to take a seat, the Kelvic was thrilled to finally have company and a companion to be out at a bar with. Darvin didn’t count. She had already watched the guard down one ale and put something in another one which he began to sip. When the man noticed Thorne join Kelski he sent another ale over to the table, a fresh one for the new lady. The server, however, was taking their sweet time, more intent on flirting with Darvin than delivering drinks to Kelski’s table.

“Thorne. I’m so glad we could do this. Thank you for inviting me out.” She glanced at the man Throne indicated and broke into a full grin. “He’s my bodyguard and watchdog. But he’s really very nice most of the time… and I think he’s got an ale on the way for you already.” The Kelvic said, leaning forward and reaching across the table to grasp the woman’s hand and give it a squeeze briefly before releasing it. “How have you been? I know its been a while, but my Master has kept me fairly busy.” The Kelvic wasn’t sure how to act or even what to say. She knew she craved being out with Thorne and spending time with another woman who was so confident and independent. Kelski admired the way Thorne carried herself, as if nothing scared her or even remotely intimidated her. She had a thousand questions for Thorne, but mostly she wanted to spend time with her, watch her, see how she navigated the world without all the things that scared the kelvic.

The ale was delivered to the table and set down before Thorne. The server grinned and gestured at Darvin. “He says to tell you ‘Hello Beautiful’…. and ‘Let me know if you need anything else…” Darvin winked from where he was sitting and patted his pocket. Kelski cringed and thought she might want to explain a bit.

“He likes…. making things. Potions, that make you feel… good. Drugs? I’m not sure what you would call them. Sometimes he gives them to me too… to make sure they work well. He’s got all kinds if you… like that kind of thing.” Kelski added, not sure how Thorne would react or if she was that kind of person. She didn’t volunteer that Darvin didn’t exactly ask Kelski when he tested stuff on her and sometimes he made her violently ill. But mostly the stuff he gave her just made her drift in a bliss that took her away from the confines of her work and Jaren’s glaring face.

“My master gets irritated at it sometimes… though I’ve tried to cover for him. It’s easier to get along with him than cause strife.” The Kelvic added, then sipped her ale. She winced slightly, finding it strong, and choked a little on it. The Jeweler wasn’t used to strong drink or free speech. But she tried to cover it up by digging into her pocket. She pulled something out of it and carefully slipped it across the wooden surface of the table. It was a simple silver necklace with a realistic long-stemmed a rose pendant. The pendant had a prominent thorn on its stem. It was simple but elegantly made with a minimal amount of metal, but the thorn had an inlayed glass gem the color of blood that made it stand out even more than the rose.

“A gift for you… its not expensive. It’s only glass… but when I can I’ll replace the glass with something real.” Kelski said, knowing that though it wasn’t expensive, it was unique and very unusual, something that would look amazing on the striking woman before her.

"Oh! It's certainly my pleasure! I'd love to meet new people. It's a rarity to find some actually nice people around here in Sunberth." Avinasai said with a smile. "Thanks love, could really use an ale to wake me up some." Said Thorne. She couldn't wait to have an ale. She was also glad to have a free one for the most part. She didn't even need to convince the bodyguard for a drink, he had just offered her one up straight out of the well of kindness. "A man who pays for a girl's ale... Definitely a sweet cherry." Avinasai said with a smile. Avinasai watched Kelski as she leaned forward, her hand reaching out to her own. Avinasai was unsure of what the black and white haired woman was going to do, but willingly opened up to her as she seemed to be really nice. After all, really nice people were rare to find in Sunberth, or they're really hard to look for if you don't know where to look. So far, Avinasai just happens to meet them. It was a strange coincidence, but for some reason she felt connected to Kelski. As if Thorne had inspired Kelski, and that stuck with her.

Her master... Wasn't he the leader of the Sun Birth's? Avinasai had almost forgotten about that. However, since these two were, it seemed wise not to get in their bad sides, because Avinasai had experience with a small gang before. On the other hand, the Sun Birth's were a very large gang. There could be a lot worse done to her if she weren't careful.

Kelski asked how she was doing. "Doing great love. Business has been slow and relaxing as usual. Oh- Forgot to tell you what I do. I make and sell poison." Avinasai lowered her voice, as she didn't want the entire building to hear her. It'd be best to let a few selected know about what she does. She doesn't know how well Bashful handles a situation when there are too many people who gather at his building/home. There was so much that Avinasai wanted to know about Kelski and why she seemed so joyous around her. She was so sweet and gentle. Avinasai couldn't bear it if something would happen to such a sweet and young woman like Kelski. Henceforth, she wanted to know all she can, but take it one step at a time. Avinasai wondered how she ended up being a slave here at Sunberth, when there were possibly other places that were better to go to. However, she didn't want to say anything about it. She mostly kept it to herself.

Merv handed Avinasai the ale, and she nodded his thanks to him. When Merv told him about the compliments from Darvin, Avinasai smiled. "Tell him thanks love, and not to flatter so hard." Avinasai said with a smile.

The conversation changed from ale to drugs quite fast after Kelski was explaining about what Darvin does for a profession. "Sounds similar to what I do, but I have other desperate people to test out my poisons." Avinasai took a swig of her ale. The bitter taste of the drink stung her throat, but it felt good. "But, the part where he gives them to you. He should have another slave for that." Avinasai said. "You're too nice of a woman to be a drug tester." Avinasai said, "plus couldn't those drugs give you some sort of disadvantage to your work as a jeweler?" She remembered that Kelski was a jeweler. She felt proud to remember so much of a person. When Kelski mentioned about her master getting irritated with the drug testing on her, Avinasai felt better knowing that the master looks out for his slaves.

"I understand what it's like not to cause more chaos with someone in charge. It goes a lot more smoother I'd say." Avinasai said with a smile and then took a swig of her ale. She noticed that Kelski wasn't used to the taste after taking a sip of it. Avinasai was busy watching the men as Kelski was pulling out the pendant from her pocket. Kelski slid it across the counter top and Avinasai looked down at it and gasped. Her heart skipped a beat and a half, and began to race. It's been so long since someone had given her something. The last time her friend, Janeth had given her something was the rapier that she had kept tucked under her cloak before she died. She had always wanted to train Avinasai with a weapon, and Janeth was learning the rapier at the time before she was killed. So, Janeth gave Avinasai her own rapier. It was one of the best gifts that Avinasai would ever have, and on top of that; the necklace was on the list too!

"You didn't have to-" Avinasai gasped as she inspected the craftsmanship of the pendant. She never wore a necklace before, never knew how to put it out. Her mother never really fancied jewelry when Avinasai was a girl. She always said something about sticking out too much. "Would you mind to help me put the pendant on love, and even if it's glass; it's still beautiful! Just like you!"

If Kelski decided to help Avinasai she would be grateful for her help. "I'll always keep this." Avinasai wiped a lone tear from her face. "I'm starting to get hungry, how about you love?" She looked at the full platters at the other tables. Some of the men were distracted. "There's some free food calling our name. Have you ever stolen something?" Avinasai said with a smile.

Thorne’s sharp gaze picked up on the fact that indeed Kelski wasn’t used to drinking ale. She had enjoyed wine far more, but in this place and time such beverages weren’t common. Ale was stronger, more salt of the earth, and definitely flowed in large quantities in Sunberth. However, the more Thorne would watch Kelski the more she’d see signs of the Kelvics fascination of the freewoman and how she carried herself and her mannerisms. Truthfully, and Kelski would admit this openly, she hadn’t been around a lot of women that were as bold and seemingly carefree as Thorne. That was the draw. The Kelvic wouldn’t have realistically have thought anything scared or bothered the other woman and that was something she envied.

Thorne made poison!? The good kind or bad kind? Kelski wasn’t sure for a moment there was any such thing as a good poison. But in this city, maybe there was a call for such things. “That sounds useful. I’d love to slip some to my Master sometime.” The Kelvic laughed, only half joking. Jaren was an hedonistic asshole of the highest order. She couldn’t hope to buy any of Thorne’s poison. She had no coin and nothing of real value. Jaren guarded her materials closely enough that making Thorne the delicate necklace had taken a great deal of saved and salvaged material that wouldn’t be missed.

Kelski laughed softly at Thorne’s response to the server and her message back to Darvin. “He wants in your pants. He wasn’t going to bring me until I told him I was meeting a lady. Then he asked me if she was pretty or not and I told him that pretty didn’t do you justice. You were beautiful. About as soon as I said that and mentioned were were coming here – he loves to drink you see – he was throwing a cloak at me and we were headed out the door.” Kelski said with another laugh, knowing it wouldn’t be hard to get Darvin to take her again to meet Thorne if the Poisoncrafter was even a little flirty with him. And it seemed in thanking him and giving him a message via the server, that was exactly what she was doing.

“I have free time enough. I’m good at my work and work quickly so it fills my free time. Besides, he told me the last time that he made me really sick that he’d make it up to me. I just had to name my favor. I finally think I know what I’m going to ask of him.” The Kelvic said, leaning closer to whisper. “I’m going to ask him to teach me how to defend myself with daggers… maybe even throw them too. He’s very good at both.” She sat up in her chair again, her eyes gleaming. It was the same look in her eye she used when she mentioned poisoning her master.

She might be a slave, but it was obvious that none of them had yet broken Kelski’s spirit.

Being invited to help Thorne put on her gift made Kelski smile. She reached over, took the necklace back gently, then pulled back the lobster clasp to demonstrate how the clasp worked. Then she slipped over behind Thorne and put the necklace on the other woman, gently pulling her hair out of the silver chain. The rose lay so that its long stem was attached to the chain and it hung down Thorne’s throat so that its fully opened bloom just graced where her chest took interesting curves and valleys. Kelski frowned a little and wondered if the chain was too long.

“I might have made the chain too long. It draws a persons eyes away from your face and right to your breasts.” The Kelvic worried as she resumed her seat. If Thorne didn’t like it, she’d shorten the chain. It wasn’t in her to understand that was probably exactly how Thorne liked it. If she was stealing or slipping poison to someone the last thing she wanted was for them to pay attention to her face. Eyes being drawn down right to her cleavage would be a good idea. No one had ever been convicted of larceny just by the identification of their chest alone.

“I’m always hungry… especially for fish. Free food?!? No…. never. Why? Are we going to steal some? How do we do that without getting in trouble?” Kelski asked looking curiously around. She had no idea what Thorne had planned, but she was game to get involved regardless. The Kelvic liked the other woman and would have loved to step out of her world and into Thornes in a heartbeat.

Avinasai chuckled along with Kelski. She felt a little guilty knowing that she was a slave to Jaren of the Sun Birth's. They were a pretty major gang, and it seemed like there were pretty good people in a gang. It didn't matter what your background was. It mattered who you were as a person. Avinasai enjoyed being independent, and any mention of being a part of a gang- Avinasai still didn't want to be apart of one. Even after the couple or so years she had spent living in Sunberth. The last year was quiet, and Avinasai had sort of liked it, but now there's been people with all sorts of background who are now active in Sunberth. Kelski among them. However, Kelski and Darvin seem pretty interesting and Avinasai wanted to know more about them.

"Aye, seems like a trouble maker love." Avinasai said with a chuckle. She was only teasing, but she didn't know how much loyal Kelski is to her Master. She didn't want to offend her in anyway, so she kept up a somewhat good manner. The thought of the necklace however, it was such a nice gift, and since the only thing Avinasai knew how to make was poison, she could make a small vial for Kelski in case of an emergency. However, she would need some time to get some material and ingredients to make a small vial. Making poisons took time and effort, and Avinasai plans on making them perfectly. Her chest continued to beat fast. She still didn't know why a woman that she had just met this season, was so kind and generous to Avinasai in Sunberth.

It was still so interesting and heart-warming at the same time. Avinasai couldn't believe it. Though, Kelski's generosity was genuine. Avinasai could tell that it was.

Everything was going swell until Kelski mentioned about Darvin getting into her pants. She chuckled at the thought, and knew that one ale and a compliment of her beauty won't be enough to get into Avinasai's pants.

"Well... Tell your friend love, that he has to do better than an ale, and a compliment." She smiled and moved her hips in a flirting motion. Avinasai didn't mind getting into bed with a random man, he just have to treat her good, and she'll treat him good too. "Plus, it seemed that he was pretty eager to meet me." She said with a smile. It also appeared that the bodyguard wanted to loosen himself too.

"Knowing how to use weapons to defend yourself is good. I keep my trusted rapier with me every time I go out someplace that I don't trust. However, The Pigsfoot Tavern is one of the best places to be."

Kelski demonstrated how to use the pendant, and there was a the thingy that latches each side; almost forming a lobster hook. Avinasai turned so that Kelski could put on the pendant. The pendant draped a little to her breasts as the pendant dropped. It was perfect, and the thorn was appealing, Avinasai approved of the detail, even if it was glass, it was still beautiful, and it gleamed against the candle lights.

"The chain was perfect!" Avinasai said. "This chain will deceive the men who play dirty." Avinasai said with a wicked smile. She turned and hugged Kelski. "Thank you so much." Avinasai said. Kelski's frame felt comfortable, and she felt about hugging her for just a few more ticks, with all that Avinasai had been through, and with what Kelski is going through. The hug felt good, and Avinasai didn't know how Kelski would feel about it. Avinasai would apologize if it seemed to sudden, and uncomfortable.

"It's time to test this baby out, love." Avinasai said with another flirty hip gesture. She wasn't necessarily trying to flirt Kelski, but it could possibly be taken any way. Avinasai looked around, finding a susceptible man to fool. Then she found one, after a few eliminated candidates, Avinasai spotted a sort of young man with black hair and a few mugs at the table that he was sitting at. He was facing towards the bar, and was eyeing Avinasai for quite some time.

"There's our man," Avinasai said with a grin. She didn't point, but figured that Kelski would easily spot the man who was watching the two of them. "I'll confront him first, his plate of food is on the side of him. He'll most likely stare down my breasts, but if he does anything reckless. He'll be needing to watch out for himself. When he's distracted, you come in for the steal. Got it?" If she didn't, Avinasai would always be kind enough to repeat herself a second time.

"Okay. Time to put on a show." She intended that her words were for encouragement.

Avinasai casually walked over to the man, swaying her hips as she did so. She wasn't the best at displaying herself as beautiful, but knew the basics and advantages nonetheless, of being a beautiful woman. Especially, when now she had a necklace that would be distracting.

The man's attention was instantly grabbed. The necklace seemed to be working, but Avinasai's heart raced, and she contemplated on how well she would actually do, and if she'll be able to get away with stealing the man's food?

"Hey handsome!" Avinasai said as she gingerly placed her hands on the table, and leaned forward. The plate of fish looked and smelled so good, it almost appeared as if it was untouched.

"What can I do for you pretty lady?" The man asked as he continued to glare at her breasts.

"I wouldn't mind some conversation." She began, and after that, hopefully she would be able to hold the conversation to give Kelski enough time to come on by and swoop up the platter.

Kelski was so happy to have gotten invited out by Thorne that she didn’t realize the other girl probably had nefarious reasons for doing so. Thorne was a free person in Sunberth. Kelski was not. The girl would lose nothing to flirting with some stranger in a bar while Kelski could lose everything, especially her life, getting caught stealing. And so blatantly too…

The Kelvic worried that there was something wrong with Thorne that she’d think this was a good idea. Obviously, she’d never been held down by her Master while he threatened to brand her or made to stand quietly in a room while someone ordered another person to punch a hundred holes in her flesh just to decorate her body because that person thought she was an ornament and didn’t even consider her a real person. The beautiful woman Kelski was with might have enjoyed being independent, but Kelski didn’t have that luxury.

The Kelvic’s gaze darted over to Darvin and saw him watching the women out of the corner of his eye. He was sipping his ale but his usual glassy gaze looked sharp and his lips were turned down with a frown.

Kelski was glad Thorne thought the chain was perfect, but she hadn’t made it to deceive anyone. She’d carefully saved the scraps to make it to tell her new friend she was thinking of her. Before she could dissuade Thorne, the girl was hugging her and off across the room to flirt with a stranger.

The Kelvic should have said something…. should have stopped Thorne and told her how uncomfortable that made her… stealing from someone in plain daylight. She wasn’t hungry, not really, even though she was thin. There was food to be found among the Sun Births even if it wasn’t the best around. But Thorne was clearly bent on stealing or at least talking Kelski into doing it for her. The Kelvic might have just been the filthy beast her Master claimed she was, but she wasn’t stupid.

Unsure of what to do, the Kelvic started towards the man’s table quietly, but before she could get too far, an iron grip closed on her wrist. It drew her up short as Darvin yanked her back. He glared at her and gave his head a single shake, and turned her around to march her back to her original table. He pulled out her chair, sat her firmly in it, and stole her ale to polish it off. When he set the bottle down with a clink, he stole Thorne’s next and finished that one off as well.

“He’ll order you whipped for embarrassing him or worse. You have exactly zero chance of pulling off a filtch in the middle of this bar with Merv here and every male eye on you ladies. Seriously Kelski. Can’t I leave you alone for a minute to enjoy an ale and a talk with Merv?” He shook his head and glanced over at where Thorne was still conversing with the stranger. “She’s bad news for you, little bird. Bad bad news. Her kind don’t have friends. They use everyone. And I know you are looking for one in everyone you meet. But this is Sunberth. You have exactly NO allies here. You never will have.” He said with a stern look.

The Kelvic sat in her chair stunned and then ashamed as her face flushed bright red. She had no idea what Darvin was going to say to Jaren about this, but if he told her Master, that would likely cut off her chance at getting out once in a while.

The Kelvic glanced over at Thorne and the man she was flirting with. The Kelvic wished, not for the first time, that she could just be invisible. She knew nothing of humans really, and even less of their behavior. Looking back at Darvin, she knew the guard wasn’t letting her go anywhere but her seat anytime soon. And she didn’t even have an ale to sip on….

[Pigsfoot Tavern] An Evening Out (Avinasai)

The conversation that Avinasai attempted to hold didn't last very long, and Avinasai wanted to know what was taking her partner so long. She hoped that Kelski hadn't been held up, but then again. Maybe she did? The man didn't appear to be all that hungry, and he grew board quickly, he stood up and left Avinasai and his plate at the table. Unfortunately, he took his ale with him, so Avinasai couldn't really get a free drink. However, she thought that she had scored when she didn't even have to try. The man was interested with her body for awhile, but the conversation grew dull pretty quickly, and Avinasai watched the man as he took a seat at one of the gambling tables with his back turned.

Avinasai picked up the plate of fish that was barely touched by the man, and ambled over towards Kelski who was sitting at the counter. Almost sulking, like a child who was being admonished by their parents. Avinasai held the plate of fish in her hands, and headed back to Kelski.

"Hey." She said looking at the saddened Kelski. She said the plate of food on the table for her. She wondered if Darvin had said anything to her about stealing. Merv would be too busy chatting with the customers who sat at the bar. "Did I do something to upset your friend? Also... this was for you. Since you were so nice to me, I don't have much on me, so I decided that I could show you how I survive in this city, you know? Not trying to set anyone off the wrong foot or anything like that love, you understand?" She really didn't mean to send mix signals to Darvin. She did hope that he hadn't said anything to Kelski about Avinasai. "He didn't say anything about me, did he?" Avinasai was curious, and perhaps she could maybe make it up to Kelski and Darvin. She went for her ale, and discovered that there was nothing left in it. Perhaps she had a lot to drink right away and didn't notice that she finished it off? She just shrugged the ale off, and hoped that Kelski understood, and she felt like she owed Kelski for being so nice. Maybe there was still a way to make it up to her. Avinasai just felt guilty.

[Pigsfoot Tavern] An Evening Out (Avinasai)

A male throat cleared and Darvin spoke. “Her ‘friend’ can speak for himself and don’t act like you don’t know I know what’s going on. You don’t use my charge as a bait and switch lure to steal food from people here by acting like a fast piece of ass or people will treat you like a fast piece of ass.” He said, then pushed the plate of fish… delicious looking fish… away from the Kelvic.

“Leave that Kelski. We’ve got better things to do.” He said, studying Thorne and looking her up and down. Kelski could tell Darvin was on something tonight. He’d had an ale or two, but to judge by his drinking habits, it wasn’t enough to even remotely take the edge of his act of sobriety. And he was aggressive, more so than usual, which usually meant he was taking something he’d been cooking… a new drug of one type or another. Kelski didn’t like him in these moods. He barked orders and was pushy, with an edge to his words that reminded her of a dog’s snarl.

“Yes he did say something about you…. That you were bad news to my little bird… bad bad news.” Darvin said, catching up Thorne’s wrist and pulling her to her feet. “Kelski, come.” He said, catching the Kelvic by the other wrist and dragging the two women with him through the bar. He exited through the back kitchen, as if he were familiar with it, and then forced Kelski down on the back stoop. “Sit. Stay there and don’t say anything.” He ordered, not looking at the Kelvic. His eyes were on Thorne.

He continued down the back wall of the Pigsfoot until he was about half a dozen steps away. Turning, he pushed Thorne up against the wooden wall moving the hand that had her wrist captured up and splaying her hand out on the wall. Then with his now free hand – since he’d sat Kelski down on the back step – grabbed her other hand and placed it up on the wooden wall as well. He bent closer to her, trapping her in the confines of his big body, right hand on her right hand, left hand on her left hand, with his mouth by her ear. “Listen you little bitch. You have two choices. I can take you back to Jaren Jorenson and explain to him that you were trying to talk his expensive pet slave into stealing and thus slandering his name… his naïve kelvic slave who knows nothing about anything…. and he’s going to do exactly one thing. He’s going to brand your hand with Sun Birth’s symbol and throw a slave collar on you bigger than the one that little Kelvic is wearing. Then you are going to be scrubbing out the middens for the Sun’s Birth the rest of your days and probably on your knees doing worse when the middens are so clean you can eat off of them.” He whispered, testing to see if she’d keep her hands and thus her body braced up against the wall by relaxing his grip and trailing his hands down her arms to gently cup at her breasts. “Or… you can take a moment to make me a very happy man as an apology for obviously misjudging the situation and mistaking Kelski for some sort of backwater idiot.” He added.

His hands were now on her breasts, cupping them, while his pelvis dug into her rump, thrusting against her lightly. He trailed his hands upwards, enjoying the curves under his grip before wrapping them gently around her throat. “I’m a lot stronger than you. No one would bat an eyelash if I snapped this pretty neck. But if you are really nice to me… and more importantly nice to that little bird over there… I will make it worth your time.” He knew Thorne’s type. She was a hardened street woman. She knew the score and knew when things were good and when things were not. Darvin wasn’t lying. He’d look the other way about this very bad news friendship if the woman took care of him. And he’d even make it worth her while by feeding her and keeping her in booze when the girls were out together. And if she gave him a little something on the side, and enjoyed doing so, he’d be all for it.

The man’s hands trailed down her throat again, enjoyed the feel of her breasts, and then settled on her britches. He loosened them slowly, giving her a chance to say no, a chance to fight him or give him any indication she didn’t want what was about to happen to happen. When she did nothing, said nothing, he continued loosening her clothing and pushing it down, freeing up her lower body to his touch. And touch he did. Big rough hands dipped low, touched her, and began to stroke her as he whispered in her ear. He kicked her legs apart further, giving himself better access, and planted his lips next to her ear again. Between nibbling on her neck he quietly began to list all the things about her he liked. Darvin was an asshole most of the time, but he didn’t like his women dry and screaming for help. He liked them wet and willing and just a little bit dirty. This one was plenty enough bad girl for him and he decided he’d do her a solid and make sure she enjoyed herself before he even remotely began to take his full measure of pleasure.

“Cry out for me, beautiful…. Tell me you want it…” He said harshly, touching her roughly, mercilessly, knowing how to do it right. He worked her with one hand, while the other hand roved her body cautiously, first and foremost searching for any hidden weapons she could gut him with while he petched the shit out of her like he fully intended to do. And secondly because she was beautiful and he couldn’t help touching that shyte as much as he wanted. Darvin did fully plan to have himself a late afternoon dally in the alley. That the little bird was watching just spurred him on. He’d never touch Jaren’s property, but damn it felt good having that property watch him touch something he could touch.

And Thorne smelled clean, and was oh so ripe for the plucking.

Kelski sat on the back step just outside the back door of the Pigsfoot and tried not to stare. With Jaren’s comings and goings, she had a pretty good idea what was about to happen a few feet down the alley, but she’d never witnessed it first hand. The Kelvic kept her eyes forward, but out of the corner of her vision – which was sharp enough to note all the frayed individual threads on Thorne’s blouse from here – she could see the couple clearly. A deep red blush covered her otherwise pale face. She couldn’t hear Darvin’s words, but he evidently kept talking to the girl as his hand dipped between her legs and kept moving in a small rapid motion that completely baffled the Kelvic.

Darvin would wait a bit but he wasn’t prepared to wait all day. Petching was serious business, and back alley petching needed to be quick and dirty since it left a man vulnerable when he had his staff buried balls deep in a pretty little thing like Thorne. So he gave her what time he could to easier accomidate him and when he didn’t want to wait any longer, he freed himself from his clothing , ran his hands down to her hips to tilt them forward and up, and drove in hard. He wasn’t a lover. Not in these circumstances. No, he was all business, hard and fast and not giving her any time to adjust or take pleasure as he took his own. His words in her ear got dirtier, rougher, and his hands locked her hips to his as he drove into her body. They roamed upwards a time or two to twist the soft mounds on her chest before slipping back down to grip her body and pull it roughly against him.

Ten minutes. It was longer than he’d expected the whole thing to take, but shorter than he liked because Thorne was a beauty and everyone knew an ugly girl kept a man at it longer while he visualized someone prettier impaled on his rod. He had to be quick though. And when he finished up, he pulled out, straightened his clothing, then considerately straightened hers.

He slapped her on the ass and said… “Good choice. Now lets all go back in, I’m going to finish my conversation with Merv… and you two ladies can enjoy a meal which I will pay for.” He added, giving Thorne a minute to recover and then taking a second to collect the somewhat stoic and speechless Kelvic and dragging them both back inside to order them some food.

I laugh at them because they are all the same.

[Pigsfoot Tavern] An Evening Out (Avinasai)

Everything felt numb. Her arse felt numb, her legs felt numb. However, she felt refreshed. Almost pleased, but a tingling feeling overwhelmed her. The feeling of Darvin giving her the pleasure that he so desired, it seemed like Avinasai made it up to the man, but he was also drinking a little too much perhaps? Or added some sort of drug to his drink, since Kelski had told him he makes them. So maybe, it's what gave him the aggressive actions just recently. Her arse stung, but it felt good.

As Darvin pulled her and Kelski back inside, Avinasai couldn't help to wonder how Kelski could've felt watching the scene take place just six feet in front of her. Especially, in an alley, and when Avinasai was against the wall. It wasn't what Avinasai was used to, but she was more used to a bed and her going down from the top. However, change felt different, and she just simply felt good. However, Darvin seemed like he was all too used to petching women like Avinasai.

Thorne sat down on the stool on the other side of Darvin. Since Kelski was being dragged by his other hand, it didn't really give Avinasai the option to sit next to Kelski. Thorne wanted to know how she felt, and hoped that it didn't make her feel uncomfortable. She hoped that Avinasai had redeemed herself with the linked friendship that the two have with each other.

She was hoping a lot now, and Avinasai wondered what was going on with herself? She's normally not like this, and just being around Kelski, things seem to lighten up around her, and Avinasai just wished that she could spend some personal time with Kelski. Even if Kelski was a slave to Jaren, and being monitored by Darvin. Thorne still wanted to converse with the Kelvic, even if it meant death, or branding. She'd literally do anything for Kelski. Kelski has been the nicest being in Sunberth that Avinasai had ever known, since after her friends; Janeth, Hoison, and Milo have been murdered by a small unimportant gang.

However, free food sounded nice, and the short event that happened outside encouraged her to eat something. She was hungry for fish, and wanted it cooked/fresh. She could go for some fresh fish right now.

"That was fun love," Avinasai said with a bitter-sweet tone to Darvin. "Do you have a place where we could do it again?" Avinasai asked. "I'd also like another ale, and I was wondering if I could spend some more time with Kelski, sweets would that be okay with your big man Jaren?" Avinasai said to the guard. "After all, that round of fun was only a short time, and I'll be more willing to do so without worry of being branded." Avinasai said, hoping that her flirting skills would get her another go. Maybe, she could hopefully get some more time to spend with Kelski. It's Kelski who Avinasai really wanted to know about. Darvin was just a room, checking Avinasai's king. If only Avinasai could get around Darvin, and she'd be able to spend that time with Kelski.

OOCHope it's okay, we could either have them return to Darvin's place, or to the Sun Birth's quarters?
