It’s rare that a thread has me literally on the edge of my seat, but Oresnya absolutely managed it here. The writing was phenomenal, and each post was strikingly intense. From not knowing what was happening to the sinking realization that people are just the absolute worst, and then the fight itself and its aftermath. I loved the read, and it left me craving more.

Exciting is the first word that comes to mind to wrap this thread up as a whole. Its enchantment of realistic visualization as the aching hunger and realness of the fight ensue was wonderfully exciting. The writing is so well done that you don’t need to know the background or where the story goes next as it stands so well on its own. Definitely worth reading and letting yourself be wrapped up in the character that is Oresnya.
