7 Fall 522 It was still early in the morning, and so Crylon had not yet risen for the day. Instead he was lazing about for a few moments as the sun rose and the sky brightened, while he decided on what he would do today. There was no particular event going on, and so he had no particular plan to do anything. And while he was needed tomorrow for some work, today he had nothing to do. Perhaps he could go by the forge? Or just practice some skill.. Or... Or, or, he ran through a few ideas while pondering on what he should do, when he heard footsteps approaching from the other side of his tent. Opening it up and poking his head out he saw a pair of men come to stop before his "door". One looked vaguely familiar, a human he had seen at the ten day, though not one he had talked to before or really been introduced to. The other... Well he had no idea who the other man was. Luckily they were quick enough to introduce themselves, the one man who looked familiar standing with a hand on the other mans shoulder. "Crylon, hello. I don't think we've been introduced, but I'm Duncan, the local Water Mage. And this is Kallin, a passing Svefra. It seems they are having a bit of trouble which might affect the settlement, and I hear your an Isur who is handy with a hammer. Would you mind coming along to help. If nothing else they will need a patch, but until we get there I am unsure what exactly will be needed. Sorry that its sudden, but this is kind of time sensitive." With a nod Crylon rose, shorter than both of the men by around a foot or so, and grabbing a few things out of his tent. Namely his pack within which were numerous items he might need for making repairs. And while he did not have his fancier tools inside, those were inside of a separate trunk, he had his simpler building equipment inside which he could take out. “Sure. Is fine do, happy come help. Am ready, show way and go now, if sensitive with time.” With a grin the new Svefra Crylon did not know nodded and waved for the Isur to follow, leading along Duncan who seemed to be staying close by. He was unsure why, but was not overly concerned and it did not even occur to him to ask why he was moving as he was by the other man. Perhaps they were just friends, or it was some odd custom of the Svefra he did not know. Passing it on he shrugged. From what had been said he assumed the ship had hit something, and so they would have dragged it ashore to be repaired. He had seen Svefra before, and their boats ranged from small to big, but it seemed this one was a small one if only a few people could address the issue. Of course if the ship had hit something it could be a danger to other ships, and so it would need to be cleared out of the way to avoid further accidents. He supposed that was where Duncan came in, if he was a Reimancer, calling himself a water mage, then he supposed he could either help stop the water entering the boat, and or break down the rock or whatever they had hit. Though he was curious what it was, as he had not heard of such a accident happening recently. Which either meant this ship was unlucky and the others lucky... Or, more likely, something new had appeared which had caused the accident. WC: 620 |
