New Stuff in the Wiki and Game!

I installed word counts for the forum. You can see your total word count in the sidebar, profile as well as memberlist (which can be sorted by word count now). These counts are a little lower than the ones in my blogs because the counting algorithm is more accurate and does stuff like collapsing spaces and ignoring the content of quote bbcodes. I have patched it to handle post and thread deletion, too. As usual, let me know if you encounter any problems.

Okay, I added a Storyteller Guide to the wiki. It's also stickied in its original prettiness (everyone likes clouds right?) along with a new Storyteller Link Resource List (sorry non-storytellers, you can't see these) in the Storyteller's Toolbox. Storyteller's please feel free to add to the link list if you have some great resource links you'd like to share.

In an effort to help new and old players alike improve the quality of their posts as well as offer some advice to those new to play-by-post gaming in general, I have put up a draft of a Guide to Posting in Lore. In it there is some advice and suggestions dealing with various elements of posting on Mizahar such as dialogue, action, setting, point-of-view, character concept and development, etc. The contents are meant to be universal as in being useful to both storyteller and player alike. It is still a work-in-progress that I will be modifying and adding to as time goes on but for now I hope it helps.

A new addition to Lore; Unarmed Combat is in. Note that this skill is the general catch-all meant to address the countless number of potential combat forms and styles in existence. Specific "named" styles are still prevalent with Boxing and Wrestling being a couple of the more basic examples with more in the works.
