The player scrapbooks forum is literally a place for writers to warm-up, brainstorm, keep little scraps of notes, or just post things to encourage themselves and each other. Each player can feel free to create their own thread - one per account - and use them accordingly.

[Tarot's Scrapbook] The Stacked Deck

I thought there was something familiar missing in my life. And here it is, a sore throat.

In other news, our word count broke 1% of last year's NaNoWriMo, which is no small feat considering some 120,000 people participated. I'm counting our OOC because let's face it, there's a lot of word padding going on in NaNo.

In yet different news, I am loving my huge Priskil quest and I think it's only going to get better. Both threads should be getting a post this weekend, so post fast and furious if you still haven't. :)

Apologies to everyone who's waiting on me, I have a bad cold with a fever and I'm off work the whole week. I'll post as soon as my eyes stop closing on me when I look at the screen.

On the upside, I'm working on a Storytelling Guide which is coming along nicely. :)

You just work on getting well-that's the most important thing. Seems like everyone on Mizahar is coming down with this thing. I think this could be technically termed a computer virus, no? :p

*sits GP on bed, covers with pillows* there, feel better GP!

I am nothing special, of this I am sure. I am a common woman with common thoughts and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough.

[Tarot's Scrapbook] The Stacked Deck

Back from a week of training away from home. Posting should resume tomorrow.

Random fact: when riding a taxi, I hate looking at the fare meter. Watching the numbers go up makes me uneasy in some deep, primal way. Today it was worse than usual because it was dark and the red numbers were reflected in the window glass at my side, so I couldn't really ignore it. At some point I even jerked my head sharply because I thought the display was reading 50 euros when it was, in fact, reading 20 because of mirroring. I wonder if the financial crisis is messing with my head...

Slowing coming back to active moderation... slowly! Please be gentle with me. :)

Also did Harameus and Dominion.

On a completely unrelated note, I am currently reading The moon is a harsh mistress by Robert Heimlein, and I'm feeling quite creeped out by the similarities with Sahova's Supervisor golem Drainira. I swear I hadn't read that book when I wrote that NPC/storyline!

has returned!

Naah...just kidding.

Now, I've never threaded with you, but I've seen enough of your work to know that you returning to active moderation can only be a good thing. :P

By the way, I feel your pain about taxi fares. I always get freaked out at gas meters or taxi fares, watching the numbers go up and knowing that it means I'll have less money. Probably comes from having quasi-Ebenezer Scrooge as a father.
