Oh I think part of Duvalyon wants to kiss Dor's face off (not literally, like he evidently did in that picture), whether he acknowledges it or not. I bet it's the sort of thing he'd dream about, wake up thoroughly embarrassed at himself, and promptly forget. Maybe splash some water in his face and have a good breakfast.

In other news: invitation accepted! I drew up this comic strip thing of Duvalyon, Laszlo, and Abalia during a medical... uh... thing. Duv makes use of his Viratas' gnosis.

Duv-my-dear, I just like clubbing seals. No actual punctuation commentary. On the topic of getting characters to do what you want them to, I gave up a long time ago. I can create circumstances in which they are more likely to do what I want them, but I can’t force their hands to save my life. It hurts my soul and it also just so happens to kill any plot I’m attempting to build.

I always find it easier to either go with what they will do or to literally refigure plot to fit what they are going to do come hell or typo tidal wave. It’s a bitch, but the end result is ever better.

For the record, I want Duv to kiss Dor too.

I said it before but it deserves public acknowledgment. That was hilarious.

I agree Duv would be perplexed by anything more advanced than a phonograph (though technically even that is too advanced).
Dor and Laszlo get on suspiciously well, I have no idea what Duv would do if they came at him on an issue as a single front.

Laszlo, there's a reason you're not keeping the kid. You'd spoon feed it dry formula if left to your own devices. Also, what if Duvalyon doesn't even like spiders? Would that be wrong on some level?

Seven, I don't know what I did to deserve this rendition of Duvalyon, but I hope I keep doing it. He's never looked so dapper. The hands look so cool. Thanks so much! This scrap just got at least 3x's more attractive.
